Having had a not so good of an experience at a previous hospital I insisted on the Royal Marsden Fulham. The whole team were fantastic, friendly and totally professional.

From my first contact through my surgery to post operative care The Royal Marsden Staff treated me with understanding and patience. The administration was first class with appointments made and kept, and instructions on everything from logistics to Covid restrictions clear and precise. The nursing care was exceptional. I've 'enjoyed' a few hospital visits in recent years and while everyone has done their best to make my stays as comfortable as possible, the Marsden nurses demonstrated the highest skill levels and greatest attentiveness I have witnessed. I am sure this is in part down to the exceptional facilities and correct staffing levels which allows time for nurses to give of their best. Catering was also first class and I was only sorry that my post operative appetite did not do the chef justice! As I live some distance from London the nursing staff made sure details of my treatment were passed to my GP and to my local hospital so that catheter removal and stapes removal from my wounds could be effected without the need to return to the Marsden (Covid risk). I was provided with adequate medical supplies to manage my post operative care.

Friendly and efficient team who were at all times patient and forthcoming in responding to my question and concerns. Good facilities. Very glad to have had access to the 'out of hours' helpline which offered reassurance on a couple of occasions when issues (minor as it turned out) arose.

All staff at the RMH private wing were very friendly and absolutely great at making one feel at ease even when undergoing a relatively uncomfortable procedure. I cannot praise them enough.

My prostate cancer diagnosis was unexpected and alarming. I was helped through the process by the efficient, friendly and endlessly patient staff at the Royal Marsden. I am so grateful for the treatment that I have been so fortunate to receive.
