About The Royal Marsden - Sutton
The Royal Marsden Hospital is a centre of excellence renowned for cancer diagnosis and education. It is internationally recognised for its groundbreaking research and use of the very latest cancer treatments and technologies. First established in 1851, the Royal Marsden was the first hospital in the world dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education. It is the largest and most comprehensive cancer centre in Europe, treating more than 50,000 patients each year. Its unique relationship with the Institute of Cancer Research allows quick access to the most up-to-date treatments available. The specialist research centre based at the hospital has the largest drugs trial unit in Europe.
The Royal Marsden offers inpatient, day care and outpatient services for all cancers. Its dedicated staff are highly skilled, and training schemes are run for cancer nurses, oncologists, and GPs. Patients benefit from holistic care programmes from diagnosis through to treatment and recovery or palliative care, with pastoral and psychological care for both patients and relatives.

Fantastic team - Lorraine & Milly were awesome, got my bloods first attempt - this is the first time this had happened . Usually the nurses have a few attempts before they get some blood. Brilliant work girls !! Xx

As a long standing patient of the Royal Marsden it is without doubt the leading Cancer hospital. All Specialists are first class. Waiting time on day of procedure could be improved. In the current climate, one feels very grateful to be a patient of such an outstanding hospital. My eternal thanks & gratitude to the Royal Marsden. Sutton and Fulham.

I have received most of my treatment at the Chelsea branch of The Royal Marsden, which has surpassed all of my expectations. Whilst the hospitals are world-class in their treatment, it is the level of care that truly makes them stand out from other hospitals.

Hospital was very easy to navigate and clean. Before surgery everyone was very friendly and reassuring. Afterwards I was very well cared for and overall the experience was very positive.
