Patient seen for:
Rehabilitation
I came to The Elphis straight from primary treatment, as I was not yet ready to return to society and my life. I felt that I needed more treatment and a stable platform from which to rebuild my life and help assessing options, regaining essential life skills and continuing my journey back to normality. When I arrived, I found all of the above, and so much more. The staff were truly caring, professional in the extreme, and knowledgable beyond my wildest hopes. I would recommend The Elphis to anybody who is looking to get the most out their treatment journey, and wants to be given the space to rediscover themselves with a team that to me now feels like a second family. I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you!!

The staff are excellent, and the programme is extremely thorough. The only area that could be improved is number of clients in the programme.

This has been the most amazing and supportive place for my daughter to be. She is leaving as a far happier and more stable person than she has been for many years and we at last have hope for her future. We are so thankful that she came here.

Overall I have had an extremely beneficial and pleasurable experience at Rhodes. All of the staff have been very friendly and approachable. I feel I have developed worthwhile coping strategies to help with my ongoing recovery.

My experience has been overall very good and I am glad that I came here. It has been a good stepping stone between primary and real life. Saying that, I feel that there is an overall lack of organisation in the programme here which is why I have docked a star.

At Rhodes Recovery my experience has been beneficial in terms about the treatment I have received the care given to me and the help provided. The staff are more like a close knit family who are available to give help no matter what there position is. It has been a comfort to have Rhodes Recovery at this time of my recovery as I needed more self care and help in transitioning back into the community. If there is any room for improvement I would say a bathtub is definitely needed.

Experience was very good. It was more like primary than expected. Great venue and nice staff. Very few clients during my stay.

Came to Rhodes after 28 day ATP programme. I feel like Rhodes recovery programme really complements the programme started in primary care. Rhodes is a beautiful facility situated in a quiet leafy suburb of north London with great bus, tube and train links. The therapeutic treatment as Rhodes have really give me a strong foundation for my recovery. One to one and key work were very beneficial to help me understand the disease of addiction and my addictive processes. Daily group work facilitated by therapists has had life changing and beneficial effect on my relationship with self and others. I’m truly grateful for having an opportunity to complete my treatment at Rhodes

Rhodes Recovery served me as a safe haven, giving me time for self-discovery, plenty of ‘me time’. My weekly schedule offered one to one sessions with Therapists as well as group therapy, life skills, meditation and yoga. Through my time here I identified my fears, worked on resentments and explored my feelings and emotions. This experience has proved valuable for my ongoing recovery without a shadow of a doubt.

Constant support available from either therapists or healthcare assistants was helpful and comforting to know that there was always the option of someone to talk to should I desire to do so. Staying in a community of people struggling with similar (or even the same) issues as I am provided another facet of support, one that was challenging as much as it was loving. Getting involved in housework duties such as cooking and cleaning went some way to facilitating some personal growth and I am grateful for having been out of my comfort zone for an extended period of time - again pushing me to grow as a person.
