About

About The London Neurocognitive Clinic

The London Neurocognitive Clinic, based on London's world-renowned Harley Street, specialises in supporting people with cognitive, emotional and behavioural health difficulties. The clinic offers services for the following conditions:

  • Acquired brain injury
  • ADHD
  • Bipolar disorder, psychosis and depression
  • Neurological conditions (e.g. multiple sclerosis, dementia and Parkinson's disease)

The London Neurocognitive Clinic is run by their Clinical Director Dr Sara Simblett, a Clinical Psychologist specialising in neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation. Dr Simblett and her team pride themselves on offering inclusive services which are transdiagnostic and patient-centred. The team sees a large number of clients with a broad range of difficulties and are able to arrive at a personalised and shared understanding for each client and family. The team acknowledges the challenges that people with neuropsychological difficulties face and thus provide a flexible, creative and science-based approach that is effective and long-term.

The process of reaching a healthcare professional at the London Neurocognitive Clinic is a simple one. The first step after getting in touch is scheduling a free consultation with one of the highly qualified clinical team members to carry out neuropsychological assessments and establish what part of the service is needed. Following the consultation, the clinician works with their client to create an individualised plan.

The treatment plans created consist of a combined range of psychological models, including: neurorehabilitation, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), trauma-focused cognitive therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT) and integrative psychotherapy. Through working with a clinician, clients are empowered, have their confidence restored and are encouraged to get back to the activities that they find meaningful and enjoyable.
