Very good. I would only suggest that staff take the time to speak more clearly (slowly/slightly louder) to elderly patients when wearing face masks. In your 90’s (and having hearing aids) having major surgery, having been hustled to be at the hosp for very early in the morning and all the (very efficient) pre-op admin can be confusing at the best if times so a little more time, patience and consideration of this would be a help. This is intended as constructive feedback and not at all as a criticism as everyone was clearly caring and trying to be kind and helpful. I realise that everyone is stretched/ busy and we very much appreciate all the care given.

The operation and care in the ward was excellent but the aftercare didn’t come up to my expectations. I am still having treatment fourteen weeks later. The pain has been horrendous and no one could control it. It hindered my exercises. My physio Selena has been very kind but I have only been able to have treatment every two to three weeks which I definitely know is not regular enough. So overall the treatment I have received has not come up to expectations. I had better follow up treatment on the NHS when I had my other knee replaced.
