SATS operates 24 hours a day*, 7 days a week and 365 days a year in both the public and private healthcare sector. SATS also provides other tailored services, including the following

SATS was founded in 2006 with the vision to "provide and uphold high level patient care governed by specialist nurses throughout ambulance transfer to or from medical facilities". Today SATS is an internationally recognised service, providing services across the UK and mainland Europe. Their professional service built by their highly qualified multidisciplinary teams and custom designed vehicles make SATS a trusted choice for thousands of patients. Highly commend this wonderful service - I was transferred to The Wellington Hospital from Bexhill-on-Sea. Andrew communicated with me a few days before to assure me the ambulance was booked and asked if I had any questions. On the day, I was given updates on exactly where the ambulance was as it was Monday morning traffic. Maria and Sue arrived and were so lovely making the journey very comfortable. Whilst in hospital, I was transferred by SATS again for an appointment, this time with Lisa and Mick who were wonderful. Lisa was very intuitive and helped sort out the location of the appointment due to an admin error, nothing seemed too much trouble. I spoke with Jae in the office to book my discharge and he was so lovely to speak to, and liaised with my insurance to sort out the ambulance costs. Shirley and Adrian brought me home yesterday in the smaller Mercedes ambulance with a stretcher and two very comfortable armchairs. They were both so brilliant and chatted to me all the way home. What a lovely team of staff, I felt so safe with all of them and thank you to Andrew and Jae in the office for making it all happen so smoothly and keeping me always updated. Truly wonderful.

My female ambulance crew were amazing, the patient was very restless and the CT scan was likely to be abandoned, but they calmed him down so much he fell asleep as I tried do call for a Dr to review and decide whether to abandon it. It was a successful and effective transfer.
