It’s been pretty good going. The staff are all nice. Sometimes therapy can be awkward.

Given the expense of the stay I would expect better quality in the restaurant particularly when a patient has difficulties around food,

Efficient and effective. Friendly staff and I never felt like I had to jump through crazy hops to prove I needed some help

Therapists and psychiatrists are great. Venue and rooms feel very old fashioned. Reception tends to finish off private conversations with each other before dealing with visitors

My therapist was Gean. She has been amazing over the past couple months and has helped me in ways nobody else could. She is a credit to the priory and has worked wonders. I cannot thank her enough!

Receptionist very professional. Change in location of admin staff / Gdpr made it challenging. Found treatment plan very disjointed. Inpatient stay was very frightening and not necessary. Building works onsite and hearing aggressive men not helpful. Group therapy for anxiety great but could have been structured better. Didn’t appreciate group therapy, so much medication & referral for mri scan whilst inpatient. Physiatrist very friendly & appreciated conversations but don’t feel I ever got a correct diagnosis or drug combination to suit but equally don’t think I needed either, more a life style change.

Psychiatrist was fantastic at explaining my mental health problems. I was referred to Gean for EMDR therapy which has made a huge difference. The combination of medication has irradiated the chronic anxiety I was suffering and I feel better than I ever have.
