Could do with a compost maybe? I like the recycling efforts. The staff are absolutely incredible and have been so key to my journey in regaining self control. In many ways I will be sad to leave. Next time I return I hope not to be a patient at all! Sometimes shifts seem a little malcoordinated but a little chaos is to be expected when the patients can be energetic, complicated and/ or unwell. Overall I have been nursed back to health in the most loving way and can’t wait to get out into nature and find long term peace again.

Great experience overall, there are some exceptional nurse staff who go above and beyond and I wanted to give the review 3 and half for friendliness there’s a couple of issues with the night staff that needs to be amended. There’s issues with the bank staff. And staff on an evening. But if this is addressed then it would be perfect. I say this because I have caught them on their phones at time and their mood has impact on you throughout the evening, you get the feeling they don’t want to be there, which for me is a shame!so sometimes it can have an effect on you the next day, but often handover take over can be late, meaning sometimes you can get your meds late, my latest time was at 22:10 maybe it’s because the day shift are exceptional.. It’s just the couple who spoil it I’m afraid. But overall the place great. food, never had a bad meal. Like I said if this is addressed, they’ve cracked it 😊

I couldn’t be more grateful for what the EDU has done for me. It helped me see a life without unhealthy eating habits was possible, something I didn’t consider an option prior to my admission. The process itself was difficult and full of ups and downs, but so rewarding at the same time. I’m so grateful for the limitless support of the staff, who set clear boundaries to protect me during this difficult time. I’m grateful for everyone’s kindness and invaluable insights, which I hope to be able to incorporate into my recovery going forward.

My experience has been so positive and I cannot fault the nurses and the care I have been given. The therapists have been outstanding as well. Whenever I have had any problems or needed to talk it’s been dealt with straight away and with an understanding manor. I cannot recommend this programme and Hospital enough, every single one of the staff on the ADU ward are patient, kind and have helped me in my recovery massively.

Very friendly welcoming staff. My previous experience of nursing staff in the other hospital before my arrival at the Nightingale was any requests made by me were treated as a nuisance and an annoyance. This caused great anxiety in me. It was a wonderful relief to be admitted to the the Nightingale .

A very friendly sanctuary. My only concern is the poor plumbing in the small bathrooms. Also I found it very difficult to hear in classes behind masks.I don’t like zoom either sadly. This meant that classes were not useful for me.

The overall experience of my time here has been pleasant, as expected and experienced previously. The ward nursing staff were always kind and helpful, as well as the kitchen and cleaning staff. Of note however, the recent modifications to the group timelines has reduced the amount of therapy received, without reducing the price the patient is paying. When the ward meetings were held to discuss said changes, the unanimous dislike of the changes across all wards, and even some staff, was completely disregarded. Also, in the event of face to face groups, logic would dictate a sense of comfort would enable patients to face experience and discuss issues much easier. In the case of informal patients especially, as a paying customer, a certain level of care is expected. Turning individuals away for having tea, dressing comfortably, or being a little behind schedule or calling people out, generates an environment in which it is very difficult to open up, or even stay in a group. For the sake of the patients, the staff, and the hospital, I strongly recommend the senior staff review the policies it has in place, as the current trend on the environment may begin to tarnish or degrade the standing of the Nightingale. That being said, I have made strides forward here, and I thank you very much for your time.-
