From the moment I had my initial first consultation with Mr Sheehan to my Cataract surgery with Mr El-Ashry the professionalism in making me at ease was second to none, I was by far not the easiest of patients to due a extremely sensitive right eye to artificial light but they had the patience to make things more bearable. After 8 weeks I had a minor complication but the aftercare was perfect too and my eye now sees 20 20 for the first time in my life, totally life changing as I can now play sport with no need for glasses!!

I have recently had cataract removal surgery with Newmedica, Bristol. I thought the whole experience was very professionally handled from the moment I entered the clinic for my initial assessment to the moment I left the building having had my surgery three weeks later. Everyone involved with the process could not be more concerned for my welfare and well being. In addition the advice, medication, the follow up phone calls and final examination some four weeks later were all carried out in a very professional manner. As for my eyesight the result of which has surpassed everything I had hoped for and more. Well done Newmedica and thanks for a wonderful result.

Have worn glasses since the day I was born and have been able to not wear glasses for the first time in 79 years. I live in Swansea and could have had the operation locally but it was cheaper to pay and travel to Bristol! Newmedica paid for me to have a taxi on both op dates. I was very nervous but the operation was quick and painless. Going to Newmedica Bristol was the best decision of my life
