Loved my appointments with Sophie! I have been able to introduce a huge variety of vegetables in my diet, and don't need to touch the low FODMAP diet the stoma nurses told me to follow :-)

She's optimistic and confident in helping educate you through understanding your disease, as well as the best ways to approach it through diet and lifestyle. What I mostly love about Sophie, is her gentle approach to finding the right diet that fits you. Since my diagnosis of UC, I have worked with other doctors who influenced my negative relationship towards food, always worrying about what I can't eat. Sophie is the complete opposite. She has inspired me to believe that I will be able to eat a variety of foods again and assured me that she will help me navigate my way back into a healthy relationship with food again. I spoke to Sophie today for the first time via zoom. She was so understanding and had so much information. I have ulcerative colitis and I have been struggling to manage my diet. I had more information from Sophie in half an hour than I have had from consultants and doctor's in nearly 3 years.
