Great hospital. Comfortable with lovely, caring staff.

I cannot fault the care I received at the Ridgeway Hospital. The nurse who conducted my pre-op appointment was excellent as was the nurse who assisted Mr Griffiths at my initial consultation. Before my operation, I received visits from not only Mr Griffiths but also the anaesthetist and the physiotherapist, Elly, so I felt completely in the picture as to what to expect. I should particularly like to mention the nurses who cared for me after my operation, Katie in recovery, Natasha and Jenny on the night shift, and Claire and Jacqui who were all kindness itself when I was not feeling too well after the operation. The catering staff were lovely but I'm afraid the food wasn't great - my only negative comment.

Clean, friendly, comfortable. Charity was my nurse and she could not have been more friendly and comforting. Having never been for surgery before she really looked after me. Really knowledgeable and caring.

Very efficient service from booking an initial consultation, seeing Mr Griffiths (and the lovely Anita) to booking a suitable operation date through to follow up and discharge. All members of staff involved extremely caring and friendly.

Efficient and timely appointments

The BMI is a good hospital, however the bedrooms and bathrooms are looking a bit tired.
