I was asked to attend for an appointment and was kept waiting for over an hour beyond my appointment time- despite viewing the consultant arrive and sit in her car for a considerable period of time on her phone. I was quite surprised as previous private appointments have been kept to within five mins of the scheduled appointment time.

The Highfield Hospital always provides a consistently good service. I have had a number of operations here and minor surgery and the staff are always kind , pleasant and courteous. The rooms are always very clean and the meals are wonderful. The after care is fabulous and helps aid a speedy recovery.

All staff at the hospital made me feel so at ease and comfortable throughout every appointment and through my surgery! Everyone was absolutely lovely and nothing ever seemed to much.

Good experience. Only waited 10-15 post appointment time which I would consider ok. Parking was ok, I was lucky to get a space.

One of the best experiences I have had in health care, I can't praise every single person who I encountered enough, they were caring, lovely and professional and most of all compassionate , I was so worried and I really shouldn't have been. From the surgeon to the cleaner and everybody in between, how different from previous hospital visits although I haven't had major surgery before, but the time given to talk to me about the procedure and explanations of what to expect I felt I mattered as a person and not just a number. The BMI is along way for me to go but it will always be my first choice if I ever needed surgery again

I highly recommend Highfield Hospital. Upon arrival I was escorted to my room by a very pleasant gentleman. I was kept informed at every step before my operation. Visited by at least 3 nurses. Waiting time was kept to minimum. Informed at what time I would be having my operation. After the operation I was kept informed at what time I would be able to go home.

It was just unfortunate appointments were running behind however this was due to an incident on the motorway and other patient's being late. Mr Hargreaves apologised for the delay.
