Words cannot describe the heartache and heartbreak this 1 star review is for me. The clinic lost my embryo back in January 2024. No reason to why, no reason to how. It was also a top grade embryo. Unfortunately I got no frozen ones in that egg collection and the other embryo I had wasn't a good grade. They was not prepared for my case, I wasn't given a mock transfer. They were obviously sorry and gave me 1 round free which was the least that they could have gone. Which Unfortunately has ended recently with a biochemical pregnancy. I have been informed it is now self funding which we are not going down that road of. I had my 50 / 50 chance of a successful pregnancy in January which they have taken from me. The staff I will not fault are caring and absolutely amazing, but what they have done, and to give only 1 round free was the least that they could do. They don't know the physical, mental pain they have put me through.

Wait times for appointments are incredibly slow. Allowance of counselling sessions is too few and cannot be carried over when you finish your treatment. It feels like there is a time limit on when I need to process my emotions and experience.

Always helpful and understanding. They always respond quickly to messages and the app makes you feel as though you can asking any question at anytime. Love the counselling they offer and support groups.

The staff are friendly, the consultant that I interacted with was knowledgable and helpful. However, the organisation and structure of access/communication is very poor. The waiting time for consultation was longer than expected, the mixed up and poor communication regarding appointments was not good at all and I found some aspects of the care disappointing and upsetting. My partner felt extremely uninvolved in the process which was distressing, all information regarding our treatment only ever being sent directly to me. We have decided to continue our treatment elsewhere. For the cost of the services I expected much better quality which unfortunately I have not experienced.

From initial consultation through to our 7 week scan we felt like we were part of a warm family. The reception staff all the way through to embryologist and consultants were all so reassuring, friendly and helpful. The app made communication fantastic and I even asked an emergency question on the Friday night before Christmas weekend in the long shot hope I may have caught someone before the holidays and I was answered Saturday 23rd with a follow up call Sunday 24th. Every time we visited we were left with people wishing us luck and truly felt like people cared. We were lucky and succeeded on our first try. I honestly can’t thank Bourn hall enough. It’s clean, comfortable, welcoming and set in a beautiful setting too. Thank you for making our dreams come true.

All the staff made me feel at home and comfortable especially with the whole process. Could have gone through it as easy without the staff.

All the staff were so lovely, going through that experience is a lot but the staff made it so easy and made me feel so comfortable.also we’re so nurturing especially as I am so young. The ward was very clean and homely and easy to access
