About The Cavell Hospital
The Cavell Hospital has 40 beds with all rooms offering the privacy and comfort of en-suite facilities, television and telephone. The hospital has 3 operating theatres, including an endoscopy suite, X-ray theatre and minor operations and enhanced recovery.
There are 13 Consulting rooms along with a dermatology suite. The hospital offers on site pharmacy, physiotherapy and phlebotomy.
These facilities enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery. This specialist expertise is supported by caring and professional medical staff, with dedicated nursing teams and Resident Medical Officers on duty 24 hours a day, providing care within a friendly and comfortable environment.

I was a little disappointed in how tired the reception area was despite paying for a private appt. Some nhs hospitals are much cleaner. Clean and dirty pens on reception to fill out forms were in very dirty containers. The whole of reception are didn’t look very clean. The reception staff were friendly but understaffed. Long wait to be checked in. Dr was late and didn’t have our information regarding our referral.

This hospital seems to be outdated. The MRI was not working and would not be repaired for 2 weeks. This is not the first time I had to wait….. needs updating and investment
