About Barnet Hospital
Barnet Hospital is one of the three hospital sites in the main Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust founded in 1828. Barnet Hospital in Hertfordshire runs many general medical and acute hospital services including outpatients facilities, as well as a 24 hour A&E department including an urgent care centre. The Royal Free Hospital and Chase Farm Hospitals are run by the same NHS trust but located at different sites, these three hospitals merged in 2014.

The Pharmacy Service is an onsite automated service to dispense medicines at Barnet Hospital and has much improved waiting times for patients. Seven out of ten operations every day are now performed in their day surgery unit, due to advances in anaesthesia and new surgical techniques meaning faster recovery for the patient.
Barnet Hospital offer a number of healthy eating options, food and drink for patients, visitors and the general public. There is a restaurant, cafe, trolley services and vending machines. There are also shops selling newspapers, magazines, books and phone cards. The hospital has disabled facilities for accessing and staying at the hospital.
