Mr Finnigan was very gently spoken, and he helped me feel calm and safe. He sppke about what would happen in my operation and spoke me through it all. At all times he asked if I had any questions, and I felt happy and comfortable to ask whatever I needed. Or asked for more information also. He was very kind and answered everything so I could understand. I felt very safe to have Mr Finnigan as my consultant, and I am extremely happy with my surgery which went very well. In my appointment following my operation, i was happy to show him I had full movement of my knee joint and it was repairing well. I would definitely tell any of my family of friends to use Mr Finnigan, and the Spire Manchester Hospital. I also would like to shout out and thank every member of staff, from the porters to administrators, to nurses and all the way up to the Consultants, for the way they looked after me. I’m so grateful to have had the most amazing experience with Eugene as my consultant. He was so kind and welcoming and made me feel at ease from start to finish. He did his absolute best to meet my birth preferences and made me feel really comfortable and listened to. I ended up needing an emergency c-section which was a huge fear of mine but it couldn’t have gone better. The surgery was quick and comfortable, and it was a beautiful, happy experience. My healing process was virtually painless and my scar looks so neat and tidy, i could not fault this birthing experience at all. Mr Dwivedi treated me for a large thyroid lump - I didn't know whether it was benign or malignant and as someone who suffers from anxiety, I was a bit of an anxious wreck in the lead up to surgery. I could not have been treated better by Mr Dwivedi. His bedside manner is excellent, he explained everything very clearly and with empathy, and he put me at ease from the start. I had to have a hemithyroidectomy in order to ascertain whether the lump was cancerous or not (thankfully it wasn't), but the operation was smooth, the recovery was manageable, and the scar is barely noticeable already. All round - I would highly recommend Mr Raghav Dwivedi.

The waiting area had few chairs and not enough for the people waiting. The people around there that gave me paperwork and told me where to wait, were polite and helpful. The appointment with the consultant was really distressing, I couldn't ask questions and didn't discussed with me the plan, just set up steps without getting me involved on her treatment plan. This experience was very negative from what I expected when you go to a professional asking for advice and reviewing if your body is working well. first meeting Dr Chauhan I felt at ease and he instantly gave me a lot of confidence to have a major operation, a full hip replacement. He explained in detail what would happen etc etc. In the operating theatre he again put me at ease with his professionalism and the operation was over and done before I knew it with no problems at all. All aftercare by himself and his staff was excellent. I would recommend anyone who is in need of surgery to seriously book Dr Chauhan as he was excellent. Highly recommend him

Cannot tell you about my visit as my reply to asking for an appointment is we don’t have and appointments and try calling on a Monday Tuesday or Thursday. Absolutely disgusting I’d be happy if given a date in a months time . You know you can never either get through on the phone or online to ge pain and with many other issues t an appointment. Spend a hour on hold to be told there are no appointments so I’m living in absolute pain and many other issues what a waste of time

I was seen by Nurse Emma and I honestly had the best experience I could have ever asked for, she was patient, kind and explained everything clearly to me, after such a negative experience previously with my GP I was very nervous and scared to have my implant out, I spoke to Emma about this and she took everything very slow, constantly asking me if I was ok, everything about my visit with Emma was perfect, she is amazing and I would recommend her to everyone!

I found the GP we visited to be welcoming and friendly, he was very informative and honest with things however I found the reception staff to be the opposite they were not very welcoming and I felt that they were closed of from any type of communication or request I did not like that they were so miserable no smiles just blank I didn't like the experience or the feeling I felt when walking into the practise but the doctor was great.

I had experienced a difficult delivery and spent a day in the High Dependency Unit before moving up to the Stanley Clayton Ward where the midwife team were absolutely incredible! All members of the team were incredibly attentive and supportive when needing advise on breastfeeding and changing, as well as offering round the clock medical care for both mum and baby.
