I have been very happy with my overall experience at Vision Scotland Edinburgh. The staff were both friendly and professional. I was well informed regarding my choices and the procedure. I have been thrilled with the result of the cataract surgery. I was given an appointment very soon after the referral. I would however like to let you know how I felt the experience on the day of the operation could have been improved. Firstly I was not sent the Post Op information which would have been most helpful to read before the procedure. Secondly I got very cold in theatre and was given a blanket but it did take me ages to warm up. It would have been better to have been given a blanket before the procedure started. There is a lot of cold water being used which does add to the chill. Thirdly I was not told to bring sunglasses for the journey home or to bring analogies both of which I would very much appreciated as I lived over a hour away. On the journey home I became extremely uncomfortable. Finally the roof of my mouth and tongue got a little burnt I think by the coffee as they must have been a little bit anaesthetised still when I had the coffee. The coffee however i have to say was absolutely welcome and the best thing along with the toasted teacake. I found it very reassuring to have a telephone number to call which I did use. I also very much appreciate the phone call from the nurse a couple of days post op. I hope you find the above comments of use. I do not wish to criticise as overall it was an extremely good experience and I would and have already recommended Vision Scotland. ( I did tell my neighbour to ask for a blanket!)

Been feeling very unwell, anxious for a few days and by the Friday I realised it may be a UTI or kidney infection. I then panicked realising it would be difficult to get a GP appointment before the weekend. I then remembered I had heard about this new service, went on line, booked a same day appointment, easy, The centre was a little tricky to find but very clean and Professional. Dr Ben was engaging, listened carefully, did a urine dip and basic obs and prescribed antibiotics. For £80 an excellent service, this also took some pressure off the NHS. It has been 2 weeks now, feeling much better and probably avoided a hospital stay.. money well spent. I am myself an NHS worker so was able to get back to work fairly quickly to continue the battle !

Daleswood Health is like a breath of fresh air in the midst of health services in the UK. My GP tries to the best they can but frankly they just cannot be flexible and I'd spend visits trying to to fit in their calendar, leaving me waiting for a rushed 10 minute appointment only to then refer me somewhere else. Something had to change. I'm lucky enough that I can spend a little to get a great service and Daleswood Health really deliver exceptional service. My recent visit was for a mole removal. In and out within 50 minutes and the mole had been removed, fantastic service from Dr Oliver Denton and also not forgetting Mary on reception. So glad I've found them. Definitely my go to for health services and fully recommended from me.

Mr Rajaratnam performed my left knee replacement surgery 2 weeks ago. This was a follow up consultation having had staples removed from the incision made. All was well, he was pleased with my progress. I cannot praise Mr Rajaratnam and his team highly enough. He replaced my right knee very successfully in 2022. The procedure and recovery path on my left knee is going just as positively. I am extremely pleased with my progress. A totally professional experience. Recommended by a friend, I found the service very helpful ;booking an appointment and explaining the procedure. Dr Lakhera explained how the consultation would be conducted for the diagnosis and treatment. He was very clear, showing me the ultra-sound scans and discussing what he had identified. Referral for an MRI scan was competed very quickly and returned to Wharfedale clinic for treatment, completed within eight days. Treatment has been successful .
