I would like to raise a concern regarding my recent care for recurrent kidney stones. Firstly, I would like to highlight that Dr Fadi was excellent during my appointment. He explained the situation clearly and appeared genuinely committed to supporting his patients as much as possible. My complaint is not about his conduct, but about the overall approach to managing my condition. I am extremely concerned by the apparent lack of focus on prevention and follow-up for recurrent kidney stones. Several years ago, I passed a kidney stone and brought it to my urology appointment. I was told that no analysis would be done and that I could simply discard it. This was very disappointing, as analysing the stone could have identified the underlying cause and potentially helped prevent future episodes. Since then, I have continued to experience kidney stone episodes, yet there still appears to be no proactive plan to investigate why this keeps happening or how it can be prevented. Kidney stones are not a trivial issue; they can escalate rapidly and cause severe pain and complications. In this sense, they feel like a “time bomb”. I was also disappointed by the structure of my recent appointment. I requested time off work with the expectation that necessary tests or scans would be carried out on the same day. Instead, the appointment lasted less than ten minutes, and I am now required to wait again for a separate scan. This long and fragmented process adds unnecessary stress and delays diagnosis and management. I believe patients with recurrent kidney stones deserve a more preventative, joined-up approach, including stone analysis, timely investigations, and clear follow-up plans. I would appreciate clarification on why preventative measures are not routinely pursued and how my care can be improved going forward.

First Class service from Mr Evans ; gave great feeling of confidence and thoroughness. Sadly on my informing Mr Evans of bi-ventricular pacemaker ;? Brought everything to a close; as the hospital will not now countenance surgery when pacemaker installed:- Greatly saddened by this - as not only will be a different surgeon; but great inconvenience as will Now have to travel over 60 miles to southern Manchester. Although once informed of medical reason; due to bi-ventricular pacemaker and such capability if some difficulty occurred - much greater requirement for increased equipment to monitor pacemaker and in the unlikely event of any difficulty ; far far higher capability of medical Intervention. Sadly now to go to Alexandra hospital at Cheadle.,and of course a different surgeon; sadly. david t ;

I had a knee replacement under the care of Mr Malek on 26 November This surgery has totally changed my life as before surgery I could not even wait bear on my knee & just over 7 weeks on I am walking without any walking aids at all & finally getting my life back. I cannot thank Mr Malek enough. I ended up paying private & although it cost me £15,000 it was worth every penny as I could not wait any longer for surgery under the nhs. If anyone is worried about having this procedure, please do not worry as the procedure is much easier to recover from than you may think & totally transforms all the pain & frustration of mobility issues that was certainly having a major impact on my life before surgery .

After seeing several gynecologists, Mr Raza was at last the most reassuring and straight forward in explaining why having a robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy would be the best way forward for me. I am now 6 weeks post op and I am feeling great. I am continuing to be amazed by how small my scar is (2cm!). I would highly recommend Mr Raza to any women doubting whether to have the operation. Every person is different of course but he is so knowledgeable, kind and professional. The overall experience was good at the start been going go treatment over a year the oncologist never contacts me only if I complain the nurses never pass my concerns on I’ve been waiting for private prescription for 6 days which has never turned up rang and spoke to a doctor he promised to pass it on to oncologist never happened after 4 phone calls the service is disgusting the amount of fees I am paying I expect a better service than I’m getting I’m seriously thinking of going back to NHS where I did get better service I certainly wouldn’t recommend Genesis Care to anyone

Dr Nadine Skipp is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, but also very kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Everyone at AURA was friendly, professional, and welcoming.

Transfered to Clarytin after disappointing time with NHS awaiting time for appointment for cataract removal. Very pleased with Clarity who saw me very shortly after referral and operated on a week later. I was going to wait for the next operation on the NHS on the 4th February but when that was moved to sometime in April, I took the next available appt on January 20th for a private operation. Both private experiences have been a pleasure and very good.

I received excellent care from Mr Challacombe for prostate cancer, diagnosed in 2023. I had a robotic total prostatectomy for a high grade cancer and two and a half years later I remain cancer free, with normal urine continence and satisfactory recovery in erectile function. My follow-up appointments are always on time as scheduled. I highly recommend the professional care provided by Prof Challacombe to any man faced with a diagnosis of prostate cancer.

Mr Oakley could not of been more helpfull in explaining to me the complexities of the operation I was going to have on my knee.Unfortunately on my first visit to the Operating theatre there was a slight problem but it was dealt with without any fuss by his team and I had the procedure done a fortnight later,with great success I might add.The aftercare I had was second to none and I have no complaints whatsoever.Doubles and trebles all round.Cheers!

Excellent visit everything was explained clearly- Mr Dehne was happy to talk through my treatment I was very grateful for the care and attention that he gave me during and after my hip operation. I travelled quite a long way to Birmingham to have my operation and would just say that being discharged on the following day as the operation was slightly uncomfortable due to the long distance from the hospital.
