Staff are amazing and caring, the problem is not enough staff, only 2 at a time on dementia unit. When they are assisting someone in their room there are no staff to keep an eye on residents in rest of unit. These residents have little understanding of their behaviour or instructions, have poor mobilty and coordination. Myself, as a visitor has had to intervene on several occasions to prevent falls or fighting, and I witnessed other visitors doing the same. This is not my job. I can't fault what the staff do, they go above and beyond and do their best, the issue is understaffing. I'm not making these comments to cause trouble but because I have concerns about safeguarding and feel that all is needed is more appropriate staffing levels. There should also be a male carer on at all times for male residents, and always the same group of staff for familiarity.

Prof Tony Kochhar and I had an excellent two way clear and honest communication. His actionable balanced guidance was easy to understand; including steps for diagnosis, potential treatable actions that may be required; including on how best to manage my symptoms with a holistic approach and being proactive. Mr Ho has been my consultant for about 10 years, ever since I lost half my sight in my right eye. Since that time he has helped me make informed decisions regarding my treatment.. He treated the cateract in my left eye and the improvement was immediate. I thought that was the end but he suggested that my macular hole in my right eye could be improved with invetrioretinal surgery. He explained in detail what would happen and I felt confident in his expertise. It was no surprise that my treatmenrt was a complete success . I have always found Mr Ho ,pleasant, informaitive. and caring I have complete faith in his judgement and ability. and feel he does the very best for his patients.

As a cameraman that relies on driving for my job , it was crucial that I had my cataracts procedure performed at the earliest opportunity! It wasn’t straightforward because I had previously had laser eye surgery and an infection on one of my eyes that left a scar, so Rohit and his team had a challenging task having to work with that and having to do the refractive procedure ! Not only did he and his team fit me in promptly , the whole experience was stress free and I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout , they did everything they could to help! The end result is incredible and I am so overjoyed and can now return to work and drive! I highly recommend Mr Jolly and his wonderful team’

I knew I could not have been in better hands after my first consultation with Dr Kalla. Any heart surgery always seems complicated to explain and yet Dr Kalla took the time to explain the details in layman's terms (he even drew me a picture). From the first consultation through to the operation and the post-operation consultations Dr Kalla was clear, patient, informed and reassuring. I appreciate that he must perform many such operations but Dr Kalla made it personal and made me feel important and listened to. This gave me huge confidence and I cannot thank him enough. I have seen Dr Bodiwala several times and on every occasion his professionalism , medical knowledge and wonderful way of talking to you gave me a feeling of total trust in my medical care . Even when the news was hard to hear the way it was explained to me and the time and manner in which treatments were discussed left me calm and positive about what would happen next but at the same time I had total transparency about my condition and what we needed to look out for . I really would not want to see anyone else , I know I’m in safe hands and the best care I could wish for

Avni is absolutely brilliant and I cannot recommend her enough. She started treated me during pregnancy but I have continued to see her after. Avni is really caring and intuitive and the only osteopath that I have been to who really manages to address any pain that I have been experiencing. She doesn't insist that you come back week after week, unless the treatment specifically requires a few sessions. She takes a holistic approach to wellness and provides really useful tips and recommendations that have helped me in all aspects of life.

I needed my bloods reviewed at three months on T. I needed to prompt PIH to set the process off, which was fine but unfortunately my blood results weren't straight forward so needed more time to get reviewed and get things sorted out before my script could be issued. PIH did pull out the stops and got everything sorted in time, so I am grateful. They now have provided a helpful flow chart so I know what to expect at each milestone. All good.

As a footballer I have been devastated to sustain two ACL injuries. On both occasions I have been operated on Mr Hopper. He is an outstanding knee surgeon and I feel very confident in the work he has done and the subsequent care he has given me. On the most recent op I was nervous about a few after effects. Mr Hopper eased my worries. I would recommend him to anyone who is aspiring to get back playing professional sport at a high level.

Overall my first appointment at Spire Lea hospital was a satisfactory experience. At the reception I was quickly registered as an insurance patient. The waiting time was not very long. The duration of the appointment was long enough to cover all my questions, explain my problem and get a gynaecology examination by the doctor with help of a female assistant. The doctor explained to me a treatment to follow to alleviate my symptoms.

I would highly rate not only my visit today with Mr Gowda but the whole hip replacement process, which for me was very daunting never having had any kind of surgery at all in my 69 years, save for wisdom teeth removal. He was professional and courteous and I felt in very safe and knowledgeable hands. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Gowda to anyone contemplating hip replacement surgery.

Downstairs work being done to the building. Noisy and lots of stuff/materials over the waiting room floor. I found the whole experience poor considering this is a private paying surgery. I understand the work needs to be done, however for a patient it is not ideal by a long shot. Not a relaxing atmosphere or acceptable. This is the second time I have been and the same building work being done.

She is always thorough to understand the deep cause of the problem and provides clear tangible plan for how to recover.
