Mr Kelleher took care of me privately for my pregnancy, and I was absolutely blown away by the truly exceptional care he provided. After a number of disappointing experiences in my NHS care, my partner and I made the decision to go private. It is the best money we have ever spent. As a surgical doctor, I researched very carefully who to choose, and I am so delighted that we chose Mr Kelleher. My first consultation was at around 24 weeks. He is an expert in the field and made me and my partner feel very confident, answering all our questions with evidence to back it up. His secretary Amanda and midwife Rebecca are also very helpful, responsive and polite. I was tossing up whether to go for the antenatal package or just C-section/ delivery package, however I would recommend being seen antenatally as I developed preeclampsia and this was promptly identified by Mr Kelleher in clinic using the most up to date blood tests (sFlt-1/PlGF ratio - important as my other tests were negative for preeclampsia, other doctors did not seem to know about this test). He was easily and directly contactable at all times, rather this being delegated to another person. He promptly arranged admission at around 33 weeks, where I had excellent care. He monitored me very closely, and when I also developed obstetric cholestasis he quickly intervened at the perfect moment for both me and my baby to deliver my healthy baby boy. The C section was done without complication and I have been left with an excellent scar. My post delivery course was complicated by ongoing high blood pressure, which began to reach concerning levels. Mr Kelleher stayed late into the night to control my blood pressure, arranging for admission to the High Dependency Unit. After 6 days, I was discharged home and made a full recovery. I truly believe that if I hadn't gone private under Mr Kelleher and had remained under the NHS, or chose another surgeon who was not as diligent, myself and/ or my son would not have made it. I would recommend him without hesitation, and in fact have done so with my friends who are expecting. He is an outstanding obstetrician.

Thank you again for the kindness you have shown in helping someone like me. I am currently arranging my trip to Saudi Arabia next week on Wednesday, and I will return for graduation next summer. I would like to ask whether you recommend that I continue the medication. If so, my current prescription lasts month, I may need to request more, as I found that only the first medication I used is available in Saudi Arabia.

Mr Raza has been incredible. From the first appointment he understood my pain, other symptoms and the impact it was all having on me as a person. He gave me several options and I ended up having excision of endometriosis surgery with him early October. To say Mr Raza and this surgery changed my life is an understatement. I have gone from needing a walking stick to walking greater distances than I have in years and my pain has greatly subsided. His team have been so supportive of me and my husband throughout this journey (Sukhy and Denia are amazing too). My first appointment was cancelled by the clinic this was after telling me to pay the fee upfront and re booked two weeks later. I arrived on time for my appointment and was told there would be a delay again. After waiting for sometime I asked the staff to find out what the delay was I was then seen by the clinician half an hour later. My experience with the clinician I felt was not worth the fee. I was not examined correctly I was not given any advice as to how to deal with the issue and the letter I received afterwards was not very accurate or informative. So I would not go back again or recommend.

I found the admin staff very friendly and helpful in answering my questions, and the two people who assessed me were also very friendly and did their utmost to make me feel comfortable and reassure me. The report is clear and thorough - the only thing is that it took 3-4 weeks longer to arrive than the original estimated time and while I understand that the team is very busy I would have really appreciated a note to say that there would be a delay and roughly how long it might be.

Overall I got what I needed which is all that matters ultimately. Found it annoying to have to fill in yet another paper form when I’d registered online as requested via email the day before. Yet another different NHS portal - the third I have had to sign up to. Was also not happy to be asked for a credit card when I was there as a fully insured patient. I was told it was ‘policy’ but when I said I’d rather not it no longer seemed to be policy.
