I am a very active 51 year old man and Mr Atkinson fixed my medial meniscus tear which had been obstructing movement in my leg. After 8 weeks I am back swimming, practicing Yoga 5 times a week (all poses including deep squats and child pose) and I also started kick boxing again. I will be training jiu jitsu again in a week's time. I also climbed the stairs at Highgate tube station this week - all 100 of them - without any pain or locking. I had a very good experience with Mr Atkinson. From initial to final consultation I was very happy with the care given to me. In fact my girlfriend who is also a doctor was very impressed by Mr Atkinson's knowledge on a variety of questions she asked. He was very accommodating of her as well allowing her to talk to him on the phone and with me in my final consultation. I want to thank Mr Atkinson for putting me forward for this care, without this I would be struggling with my physical activities and now I have a new lease of life. Thank you so much.

His attention to detail and genuine concern made all the difference and he ensured I understood every step of my treatment. The entire Pixie and Sera team was extremely professional from scheduling either online or by phone to reception at the clinic. They all ensured I was seen within minutes on my appointment days. Keep up great job! Suggestion - If we could get appointments and at least tests and labs done over the weekends. Maybe half days on Saturdays? It is hard for some of us to come on weekdays hence all my appointments had to be done late in the evenings. If I had an option for Saturday I would've preferred that than late in the evenings. I was told to report to the Heart Centre, which I did, then tried to catch the attention of the only staff member I could see who was someone eating her breakfast from a bowl. The encounter was not welcoming or friendly. I was told to go downstairs to a different door, with no sign on. When I did finally find the right place the nurse was very friendly and kind, and everything went very well after that. The nurse and the consultant were very good in all they did. My letter of admission insisted that I was 'nil by mouth' so I arrived at the hospital thirsty and hungry. When there I was informed that in fact I could eat and drink whatever I wanted- that there was no restriction. I wish I had been informed correctly in the first place.

Following my initial consultation I was offered a date for my surgery which was only two weeks ahead which completely surprised me as I expected a much longer wait I attended my surgery and was treated with courtesy and respect by all of the staff I encountered I was put at ease both before and during the procedure my surgeon My discharge nurse explained clearly what I needed to do with my medication and also how to keep my eye clean I received a phone call from a nurse the day after my surgery checking that everything was okay. I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience and would recommend Newmedica to all of my family and friends.

My experience was the first time i was a patient in kingsbridge . I have to say my initial contact with vickie nurse who took my details left me very relaxed which left me taking the gas and air instead of sedation as I am a very anxious person . We need more nurses like her dealing with patients . Then I had grace who spoke to me and held my hand through the procedure and kept me relaxed and a special thank you to dr Seamus Murphy who carried out the procedure was very informative and gentle on the procedure .

No complaints about the staff or the appointment. BUT: 1. The waiting time for a porter to wheel a disabled patient was too long. The only wheelchair available for use by an accompanying person was seriously damaged [no footrests]. 2. the wait by the lifts took 28 minutes. After selecting the floor we needed, it kept saying lift C, then changed to E then A and so on. A nightmare. They need more porters [who are always unfailingly nice and polite] and more wheelchairs, and a better system.
