had a right knee replacement with Mr. Sam Rajaratnam just over two weeks ago on 3rd November 2025, and what I had feared would be a difficult and painful operation turned out to be completely painless. Sam is extremely kind, patient and reassuring — perfect for someone as nervous as I was. I had delayed doing this surgery for a year and a half and even cancelled the operation twice before finally going through with it! Mr. Rajaratnam has built an outstanding team, including an exceptionally experienced anaesthetist, Dr. Barry Philips; a kind and highly competent nurse consultant, Ms. Christine Howis; and an excellent senior physiotherapist, Felicitas Gatti, who visits me at home to guide my post-operative exercises. I was also extremely impressed by all the medical staff at the Cleveland Clinic hospital, who provided exceptional care throughout my stay. Whilst at the Cleveland, Sam visited me daily, and even came in today after my staples were removed to check on my progress. Mr. Rajaratnam’s expertise is evident—he has performed over 7,000 knee replacements—and the level of care and support I received was extraordinary. I was expecting a significant increase in pain once the stronger medication stopped a week after surgery, but to my surprise, I remained completely pain-free. I am extremely grateful to Sam and his wonderful team. I’ll be back for my other knee as soon as I’m up and running again!

The service I received from Dr Elgheriany was personalised, tailored, kind, positive and an exemplar for how to treat IVF patients with chronic endometriosis. He is incredibly knowledgeable about endometriosis and adenomyosis and explained everything so clearly at every stage, always backed up by the latest research. His results speak for themselves - I had several rounds of IVF at a different provider but it wasn't until the first transfer I had with an embryo created at the Evewell that I succeeded in becoming pregnant. Dr Elgheriany also taught me more about endo in our initial twenty minute consultation than I'd ever been told in several years before that by multiple different healthcare professionals, and his advice helped me change my diet and pain management habits to such a degree that my symptoms are now minimal to non-existent for the first time since I was 11 years old. I've had two operations to help manage stage 4 endometriosis in the past, including the removal of both of my fallopian tubes, but nothing has helped as much as this.

Kingsbridge Diagnostic and Treatment Centre

I travelled by car from the north west to the Kingsbridge Diagnostic Centre, tucked in behind the Kings Hall. Parking was difficult to find, and as the letter instructed me to arrive 15 minutes early, I anxiously clambered out, leaving my husband to park the car while I located the building and the correct floor. The reception staff were mediocre at best, though I did manage to get checked in. Once called through, the procedure itself was completed and an outcome provided. However, the consultant was abrupt and condescending. While I appreciate that private healthcare is under pressure due to NHS waiting times, this is not the standard of service I would expect for something I am paying for. The assistant involved in the process appeared either tired or lacking job satisfaction in their role. Altogether, the atmosphere was dispiriting, and I could not wait to leave the building and be on my way.

Mr Jason Ho

I initially approached Mr Ho because I had an epiretinal membrane and a cataract, and Mr Ho is an expert in both. He is amiable and knowledgeable and answered all my questions confidently. A decision was made to deal with the cataract first. Surgery was performed by Mr Ho at the St John and St Elizabeth Hospital. Everyone was friendly and efficient, which helped to allay my nervousness. The procedure was completely painless and uneventful. When fully reclined, listening to music and gazing at the lights was actually quite soothing. After the 15 or 20 minute procedure I was returned to my room and given lunch. An hour and a half later I was allowed to go home. At the post op appointment two weeks later everything was found to be fine. My vision was found to be 20/20, most unusual when there is an epiretinal membrane. I'm very happy with the result.

The hospital is run like a well oiled ship. No need to be too early, as you have an appointment time and they will take you at that time. I went 30mins early, which was an extra 30mins of nervousness I brought on myself I could have done without! The staff are friendly and efficient. There are processes in place that give assurance that the hand over from nurse to surgeon and team are strict and everyone is on the same page as to who you are and what you are there for. The recovery was peaceful and friendly. And who doesn’t like toast and a hot cuppa after fasting for hours. My next appointment was delivered by email the very next day. I know I will be nervous going back, but it won’t be because I don’t feel I am in safe hands. Thanks to everyone who looked after me, from reception to consultant and everyone in between.

Very Pleased with the clarity of my vision after wearing Glasses, I had the Galaxy lense fitted and I now have full contrast and colour definition. I had my procedure done at Freedom Chelmsford. The team there were absolutely brilliant,friendly, professional. The procedure was very quick and painless. I could see the improvement immediately . It took a few days for my eyes to adjust as my prescription was very strong and complicated, (lazy left eye.) Just like to say what a wonderful understanding and kind team you have . After a wile through my consolation I began to feel very relaxed connecting with your GP . She was very interested with my health and wellbeing and making notes regarding my health history and present concerns. On a comparison to my NHS GP I was always felt I was a bit of pain in the back side when it come to my wellbeing and made me feel very anxious. I first saw Dr Seth two years ago and recently returned in October/November 2025. He’s exceptional at what he does, and absolutely worth waiting for. He’s also incredibly considerate in the way he coordinates directly with my physio, which removes any risk of miscommunication on my side. Dr Ali was very clear in her explanations about allergic rhinitis and the different treatments available, all of which I have taken over the years. I would like to have had explanations of results of tests in order to know more about what triggers my allergies Although Dr Ali did explain that probably I have non allergic rhinitis I'm still not sure if that is my case and I wonder if more allergy tests would give a more definite answer. Dr Ali did say she would be asking my GP to send results of the tests i had done at the surgery a few years ago.

Overall an efficient and excellent course of treatment. Because I have hearing loss occasionally hearing explanations was challenging.. The first time I have had a urethral catheter. Looking at the catheter passport information it recommends a catheter securement device similar to a Velcro strap. Unfortunately I was offered no such device and had difficulties with the tubing since it extended almost as far as my knee cap. Using plasters etc was not helpful since it had to be removed when urinating.

I have been going to this practice for some years now and they have never failed to be genuinely supportive, kind, pragmatic, responsive to my needs. My experience once in the practice was very good. Staff friendly and professional. What I found very stressful beforehand was locating the property. The letter that I received from the NHS gave an address of One Medical House which I could not find on any signage. I drove around for 10 mins and was then worried that I would miss my appointment. The letter should be updated to state OSD Healthcare.

We were welcomed nicely. Offered a lovely selection of drinks by the friendly reception staff and then saw our wonderful Dr Jawad who is just so kind, caring, thoughtful and knowledgable. He just goes beyond doctor and you really feel he genuinely cares for your child. He is so thorough and informative and has such a great manner with the children (and is parents). Would 100% recommend.
