Whilst time waiting to see Mr Khan was very quick , if I'd arrived any later I wouldn't have completed my check in and, I arrived more than the recommended 15 mins early more staff on reception required plus I don't think self checking in on tablets helps , whilst fine for me others clearly needed help.After seeing Mr Khan I needed follow up appointments for a scan and,blood/urine tests . Having waited at 1 reception for 15 minutes area to make an appointment for the tests to be brusquely told to go and make my scan appointment as it "Would save time" .When I'm 2 away from the desk don't think it was about saving my time.Then wait at the radiology department reception for another 15 minutes as only 1 person on reception, told they'll need to check with the radiologist and, would call me today as yet they haven't. Return to main outpatient reception to book tests and, amazingly I've now got 6 people in front of me ...finally get to the desk to be told can't do blood test as no one there to do them .Now had there been but because of time wasted there no longer was ? Not impressed by The Spire on this occasion, Mr Khan yes , but everything else no .

The Deben private GP service was thoughtful and reassuring throughout. Treatment was prescribed promptly in anticipation of a potentially serious issue, with careful and attentive follow-up, and an appropriate referral arranged swiftly. The doctor listened closely, showed genuine empathy, and took time to understand how the symptoms were affecting overall wellbeing. There was no sense of being rushed, and everything was explained clearly and calmly. Overall, Deben delivered a supportive, patient-centred experience - calm, kind, and reassuring from start to finish.

She was very professional and very knowledgeable, however because of that I was expecting the whole process to be more proactive. She did not have results from the previous process in the NHS hospital (not that I was expecting her to have them, however if I am asked in advance I could have potentially got them). So in the end I paid the insurance provider to be told that nothing could be done privately. Again, the consultation was fine, however I came out from it with the same knowledge (about the situation) I had from the NHS hospital.

The word cancer is a very scary word. From the moment I met Mr Ghosh I felt in safe hands. He was kind, clear, professional and most of all he has - and is - looking after me very well. I feel in very safe hands. Every appointment is scheduled by his wonderful PA before I even reach home from the last appointment, which makes me feel like there is a plan at a time where you feel there really isn't a plan. He is supported by a wonderful team (thank you Heather!) and I honestly wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

The consultation was very thorough, and Professor Reid had clearly read and thought about my particular case in advance. He took me through a detailed explanation of my situation, the treatment I would need, and the reasons for his recommendations. Using visuals he was able to present material that is complicated to a lay person in a very clear and simple manner. By the end of the consultation I felt I understood what the next steps were, and had confidence in his recommendations regarding future treatment.

I had a very informative, relaxing & dare I say enjoyable visit with Dr Conor Bradley today. He put me at ease immediately with his welcoming personality. He explained all my options & what I could expect from the various treatments. I left feeling relieved from my visit & hopefully will not need to return, but if necessary would be quite happy to. May I also say the young lady on reception was very pleasant, even offering us tea or coffee. I would highly recommend this very professional clinic

I felt quite anxious going into my procedure due to a past ovarian cyst surgery with a different consultant that resulted in internal bleeding and an ICU stay. Dr. Jadoon was extremely knowledgeable and her firm yet reassuring approach helped me trust her completely. Everything went smoothly, and the anesthesia was very gentle—I woke up feeling well and comfortable. Special thanks to the anesthesiologist Rita who works with Dr. Jadoon. Initially believed a guided steroid injection had been arranged through our GP. However despite trying to confirm this prior to visit this transpired not to be the case and was told another appointment would need to be booked for a later date. Fortunately Natalie, senior radiologist, was kindly able to arrange a guided steroid injection for that afternoon for which I am very grateful for as it is one hour twenty minutes round trip for us

It was great to be able to see Mr Steven Lau at the Spencer, although a great shame that the NHS does not recognise crossover between private and public services. I had paid £250 to see Mr Lau for the same consultation as I had on 7th January, meaning that I am no further along the path of accessing the treatment I’ve waited 21 months for. I am grateful, however, that I’m accessing private services via the NHS

My appointment with Mr Riley, as always, was informative and very helpful regarding the current status of the injuries sustained to my knee and shin following a road accident. He was easy to talk to and gave his professional opinion as to how to move forward with my recovery. He answered all my questions in a manner I could totally understand.

The consultant very knowledgeable and thorough. The procedure took longer than anticipated. Recovery more painful than expected. Bruising very sore. The stockings were ill fitting and kept falling half way down my legs.I have to keep pulling them up frequently.
