Having seen several gastroenterologists in the past, I can say with complete honesty that none have come close to Professor Khan. His calm manner, clear explanations, and reassuring presence immediately put me at ease. Professor Khan performed both a gastroscopy and colonoscopy for me at The London Clinic. I had been quite apprehensive beforehand because of a painful experience with this procedure in the past. To my absolute surprise, under his care I did not feel a thing. The entire process was smooth, comfortable, and handled with the utmost professionalism. What truly sets Professor Khan apart is his combination of clinical excellence and genuine compassion. He listens carefully, takes time to understand concerns, and never makes you feel rushed. His confidence is reassuring, yet he remains humble and warm throughout. I left my appointment feeling fully informed, cared for, and deeply appreciative of the level of attention he gave me. It is rare to find a consultant who blends expertise, empathy, and humanity so seamlessly. My experience at the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH was exceptional from start to finish. The room's were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and calm - exactly what you hope for during such an important emotional time. The food was genuinely excellent, with a great variety of choices, which made a real difference during recovery and long days on the ward. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely amazing. From the midwives and healthcare assistance to the catering team, every single person was kind, caring and professional. The midwives were extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to support and reassure, no matter the time of day. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What truly stood out was the continuity of care even after discharge. The midwives remained available to support me with breastfeeding and post cesarean aftercare, which was invaluable and made me feel supported well beyond my stay. I cannot fault the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH. The standard of care, compassion, and attention to detail where outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering private maternity to care.

I highly recommend Miss Mez Aref-Adib. I’m 39 years old and had a 6 cm fibroid that caused heavy bleeding and severe pain. Dr. Aref-Adib performed my laparoscopic surgery and successfully removed all of the fibroids. She was extremely attentive to my condition after the surgery, followed up closely to make sure everything was going well, and was always available to answer any questions I had during recovery. Three months later, I feel so much better, and there is only a very faint mark left from the stitches on my abdomen. I highly recommend Dr. Aref-Adib—not only because she is highly skilled and professional, but also because she is genuinely kind, caring, and responsive.

He organised an MRI promptly, which allowed him to diagnose my son accurately, and crutches were arranged immediately. Mr Sobti has been outstanding throughout – professional, thorough, and entirely focused on my son’s recovery. He never recommends unnecessary appointments, unlike some consultants. His priority is clearly his patients and their wellbeing, not his bank balance!

Positive perks - the waiting room had adjustable height chairs meaning I didn't have to struggle getting in and out of chairs! Dr Chinoy didn't judge me, or make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience (something I have grown accustomed to from the nhs). Despite my symptoms not fitting in with his specialities he recommended a colleague who he feels confident would be able to meet my needs. Although private care is hard on my wallet as a self funder, the advice, treatment and service I received overall made it more than worthwhile.

To improve the service i think it would be nice if a cardiologists could quickly glance/look over results and give a brief written note/summary of results/heart health. It is a shame that in order to get a cardiologists insight/reassurance I then have to rebook and pay for an additional appointment.
