It's not fair that being an NHS patient meant that we couldnt use the disabled parking, which was empty, right outside the hospital, meaning a much longer and uncomfortable walk. We we greeted well upon arrival and called through almost immediately. Although I found the nurse abrupt and abrasive to start with, I put this down to her working from the computer, checking through info. Perhaps that wasn't her strong point with technology. I have many complex needs, including some communication needs, being ADHD and Autistic. I clearly hadn't understood some of the portal questions and answered them differently to its intended expected responses. Perhaps some more understanding around neurodivergent conditions would be helpful and clarity around the context of their questioning, rather than to feel berated for replying "I fear spiders". The question asked for my fears or what I am scared of, if it was specifically regarding the procedure, it should have been clearer. I was clearly struggling with the bright lights in the office, holding my srm up to shield my eyes from the lighting, even commenting to my daughter who I took with me, my questionnaire replies would have told her I am photophobic, but because of how she initially presented to me, I felt unable to raise my concerns and ask for the lights to be adjusted. (This resulted in triggering a migraine after I left). Im still working on advocating for my own needs. Once the computer work was complete and she faced me to go through expectations of the operation day, she mellowed and warmed, her body language positively changed. This helped reduce my heightened anxiety. She was very good when it came to taking my bloods and I didnt even feel it, for the first time ever. I left feeling far less anxious than I did upon arrival.

I had an excellent experience at Vitalscan. The whole team was incredibly professional and welcoming from start to finish. The radiographers — Abdo, Mahmoud, and Alice — were absolutely brilliant. They made me feel completely at ease and explained everything clearly before the scan. Their professionalism and kindness were outstanding. Jamie and Safia, the imaging assistants, were also fantastic — so friendly and reassuring throughout. And a special thanks to Mickey at reception, who was extremely helpful, polite, and made the whole booking process smooth and stress-free. Honestly, one of the best healthcare experiences I’ve ever had in the UK. Highly recommend Vitalscan for anyone needing an MRI or any imaging service.

I was very apprehensive about getting both of my eyes done at the same time. I cant believe how easy and painless it was ,all of the staff were amazing in looking after me and putting me at ease. Having 24 hr support was amazing ,my concerns were addressed quickly . If only everything was as easy as this ,within 3 days i could see perfectly ,i never realised how much of a difference it would make . From my consultant ,nursing staff, opthamologists, domestic staff and receptionist they went above and beyond in their care. Nothing was too much bother. Dont hesitate to go ,you will be amazed .

I have seen Mr Mohamed on two occasions recently and in both cases the appointments were on time, courteous and friendly. Mr Mohamed reviewed my extensive medical history in detail, asked appropriate questions, recommended the next steps and, with my agreement, drew up the appropriate paperwork. The procedures were organised, performed within a few days and a follow up appointment was arranged where the results & ongoing recommendations were discussed. All of this took place over a period of ten days, without doubt one of the best medical experiences I’ve had in my 81 years.

After years of hip pain and multiple operations from my mid-late 20’s through to late 30s, and after previously undergoing a POA operation under a different consultant, I am finally pain free thanks to Mr Holton performing a hip replacement. It wasn’t straight forwards due to previous procedures and in-situ metal work, but Mr Holton planned around the issues to deliver a successful hip replacement. Reasoning behind decisions were always clearly explained, and he genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients.

Dr Koa-Wing takes time to listen carefully and then explain what is happening in the heart, where the issue is, in clear terms which are easy to understand. This was my last appointment with him and the whole experience has been really good. Thorough tests, really good communication during treatment, and reassuring in manner,, which is what is needed when you're so poorly. This appointment was no different. Even though I'm recovered, the care and communication was just as good.

Dr Cockbain is an amazing man, from first meeting him i felt reassured things would be ok. Dr Cockbain explained everything in detail regarding my surgery and making this horrible cancer journey a lot better, the sensitivity and compassion he has for his patients is second to none. 8 months now since I’ve had a partial gastrectomy and you wouldn’t even know, I’m back to being healthy. I cannot rate Dr Cockbain and his team highly enough.

I visited Dr Nicolaou for a pain management plan. We firstly took a conservative approach to pain as he was very holistic about his treatment which I believe is brilliant care. Next, we decided that injections were the way forward. He explained and reassured the whole way, was kind polite and exceptionally supportive and knowledgeable- everything you could ever need from a doctor. Thank you to Andrew and his very kind team.

The consultant was rude and confrontational about my need to have postponed previous appointments. These had been given to me on Tuesdays with the the option to change if not convenient. I endeavoured to change some to the Saturday clinic but this was not possible so I missed that month. As it turned out, when I had the last scan in August, the condition had stabalised and this was confirmed again at this appointment.

Saara Majid is my dentist. I cannot overpraise her attentiveness throughout the appointment. The main purpose was a filling, so a local numbing injection was required. There was minimal discomfort. Afterwards, Saara assisted me into my parka, led me to the patient toilet, waited until I emerged, conducted me back to reception to a suitable chair where I could await my taxi, prior to handing over to a receptionist.

I walked up 12 floors as there were no lifts available.Only 14% capacity.I got to the Thames view suite via the cardiac lift because a cardiac unit staff member took pity on me and put me into lift 14 to complete my Access Path to the private patients unit. What on earth is going on and why does the lift maintenance contract not have a 50% minimum functionality profile as a term for service?

The clinic has convenient parking and I literally walked into reception and into the treatment room. It’s refreshing to turn up ob tine and then not wait for half an hour. Had minor procedure on leg veins. All the staff super nice and professional. It’s a lot of money but my leg was treated very quickly and now it’s one less thing to worry about

Dr Adam was very compassionate throughout the call, all questions were answered in a way I was able to comprehend and I was able to clarify on things I didn’t understand. Sometimes I do feel heard when sharing my concerns to doctors but I feel he always takes them seriously.
