When I first came to see him, I was struggling with severe anxiety and frequent panic attacks that had taken over my life. He took the time to explain everything clearly, worked with me to find the best treatment plan, and made me feel supported every step of the way. His calm and reassuring approach gave me hope when I felt completely lost. Thanks to his expertise and guidance, I’ve made a a full recovery and feel like myself again. Mr Vik Kapoor

Mr Kapoor performed the Denervex ablation on my facet joints . I have degenerative disc disease and this procedure helps prevent transmission of nerve pain signals. It is a more thorough procedure than Radio Frequency ablation , as it also removes the nerve sheath on the joint. I had the operation 8 years ago the first time from Mr Kapoor and the effects lasted about 7 years. I have just had the procedure again . It reduces my discomfort level dramatically and allows me to pursue my activities reasonably freely. In the last 8 years I have swum the full length of Coniston in the Lake District (5.5 miles) and completed the Great North Swim annually. I also swim approx 3 miles a week. I have also walked long distances , and been able to maintain my large garden . The cost / benefit length of the Denervex procedure far outweighs that of the standard Radio Frequency procedure due to the much extended length of the relief from the condition. I would readily have the operation again in a few years time , as it gives me an enhanced quality of life.

I met Mr Freites two days before my planned sugery. At this first meeting he was, professional, approachable and caring. He had excellent personal skills and put myself at ease. Time was spent clearly explaining in depth my procedure, outlining realistic expectations as well as possible risks., so an informed consent could be obtained. On the morning of the surgery, I briefly met Mr Freites, he also came to see me in the recovery department to inform me of the surgery he had performed. After a long day of performing surgery he made time again to check in on me. He explained everything he had done, what to expect during my recovery period and when he would be seeing me again. He gave me the opportunity to discuss any concerns. The following day when he realised I was being discharge and he was not on site he phoned me to make sure I was feeling Okay. Mr Freites is an excellent consultant and I had every confidence in him.

Our experience for the administration side, tests and the consultation were all excellent. We asked if it was possible for a short notice appointment as the person was due to fly the following week. Dr Segal’s secretary, Claire was excellent. She was friendly and very efficient. I spoke with her at midday and she arranged for a next day consultation and tests prior to our consultation. The medical report and copy test results were e mailed to me promptly the morning after our appointment. The tests went smoothly. Dr Segal was very friendly, put us at ease and explained very clearly all points. We felt reassured after taking his advice. It was amazing that in less than 48 hours the whole process, including receiving all reports, was completed. It was a stress free experience during a stressful time and we would definitely use Dr Segal again and recommend him to family and friends. Thank you to everyone.

I’ve been struggling with dry eyes for over a year and honestly didn’t know what to do or where to turn. Finding the Dry Eye Centre has been such a relief! Mamta Trivedi is amazing, so knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. She took the time to explain all the treatment options and put together a plan that’s really working for me. I’ve already noticed a big improvement and finally feel hopeful again. The machinery and technology they have is out of this world, it’s incredible to see how advanced the treatments are! Jo-Anna at reception is also lovely always so welcoming, friendly, and organised. I can’t recommend the Dry Eye Centre enough. The combination of expert care, cutting-edge technology, and genuine kindness from both Mamta and Jo-Anna makes such a difference.

Dr. Sawyer is a wonderful doctor. He was extremely thorough in my health assessment. I especially appreciate how well he balances a complete explanation of every aspect of the examination with a warm and approachable manner. As we went through the somewhat overwhelming amount of data from the exam, he highlighted the important figures and explained them in terms that were easy to understand. I learned things in these conversations about key relationships in the overall health data that I'd never heard in three decades of health assessments. I very much appreciated his attention to detail, his willingness to answer questions and his clear explanations. I feel that I'm in very good hands with Dr. Sawyer.

I found Mr Anwar courteous, polite , very friendly and approachable. I was quite nervous prior the surgery but Mr Anwar put me at ease.. Mr Anwar had a very good bedside manor. He was very informative and professional and I found myself trusting him. Having had such a good experience with Mr Anwar concerning my right knee replacement I only wanted Mr Anwar to do the surgery for my left knee replacement. An excellent experience considering getting a tooth extraction . All of the staff were great . Efficient and caring and put me at ease . The extraction was tricky but confidently and expertly handled by Fiona and her assistant . I was provided with good instructions and medications for the aftercare and had no problems . I did have to wait longer than I wanted to get an appointment but it was holiday season and a specialist appointment . Well worth it and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.,

Staff were all great and very friendly and professional at all times. The only issue I had is with the openness with prices. The initial consultation and then the procedure prices were given up front and very openly. But after the procedure I was just told to book in for a follow up consultation which at know point did anyone mention the additional cost of this. £175 I feel this should have been mentioned or put into the price for procedure

My recent visit to Optegra Eye Hospital Manchester for lens replacement surgery was excellent. There was no waiting time and all the Staff were extremely helpful and reassuring to help me stay calm prior to my operation. Post operation the Staff gave me all the eye drops needed and detailed instructions on how to proceed over the coming weeks. I was also given all contact numbers in case I had any questions or worries.

After battling with children’s mental health for a few years and my daughter being fobbed off I made contact with Skylight as soon as she became able to use adult services. She was seen very quickly, all staff were so friendly and were kind and patient as she is anxious. Now on a waiting list for ADHD medication so hopefully we can help her further.
