I recently attended a Preconception Appointment with Mr. Adam Jakes at the clinic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome from Gemma at reception and Mashal kindly assisted with my pre-appointment obs. The clinic itself is immaculate, modern, and beautifully presented. During the consultation, Dr Adam took the time to thoroughly review my medical history and discuss plans for baby number two. We spoke in detail about my Type 1 diabetes, its potential impact on a future pregnancy, and strategies to optimise blood sugar control beforehand. The appointment never felt rushed; Dr Adam provided clear guidance and even highlighted the progress I’ve made, which was a reassuring confidence boost. I would highly recommend Dr Adam, especially for anyone managing a medical condition. The experience was seamless, and I received comprehensive follow-up notes within just a couple of days.

I attended Monaghan & Morrow clinic for a vasectomy procedure in February this year. I got booked in within 2 weeks of initial contact. I was naturally anxious about the procedure but the guys made me feel at home from the minute I walked in. The procedure was pretty much pain free. Stephen & Gillian also clearly communicated pain/brusing etc over the days following, which was very reassuring. Also a check-in email the following day to confirm all was ok. (which it was) After some initial tenderness, I was back running within 1 week of the vacetomy. The follow up semen analysis was also very straightforward. I received the kit in the post with instructions. Results were then emailed within a few weeks. I could not recommend Monaghan & Morrow enough.

The surgery was done by Dr. Ruebendra Jaganathan who I would say is one of the best surgeon in the world. His team of totally professionals were amazing caring and compassionate human beings as was the nurses. The food from the kitchen was so delicious and shall I not forget the physio team who were so caring and helped me so much. I was amazed that such care exists. I trusted them all because of the way they made me feel safe and in good hands at a very worrying time in my life. The cleanliness of the hospital was also beyond anything that I have ever seen. She's relentless in trying to find the solution and the right help for me, going over and beyond just to help me. Even if all other ideas fail, she always tries to find another way, not giving up on me. I travel miles to London to see Dr Lafina Diamandis because she is a breath of fresh air, and very worth of my time to see someone like her who is passionate about their job and cares about her patience. I greatly appreciated the careful diagnosis of my hip and spine issues by Mr Ud-Din after having suffered considerable pain and lack of mobility for too long. The operation was nearly painless and I was kept informed of progress throughout. My hospital stay was 26 hours in total and I was released to go home with all the requisite medicines. Because of the quality of the surgery I was a able to walk without crutches and painkillers after about four weeks. This was aided by physio Tom Murray. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Ud-Din and his team to anyone needing hip surgery

On Monday 1st December, at 12.30pm, I attended the ONE Ashford Hospital, for a total knee replacement. Within a short space of time I was ushered into my room, and eventually changed into a theatre gown. I was then taken to be prepared for my operation. This whole process was pleasant, reassuring, and very professional. Afterwards, I was returned to my room, and given all the attention I could wish for by the nurses, physiotherapists, and catering staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, likewise for the Tuesday, when I was discharged in the afternoon.

With a history of long term sunbed use and holidays abroad i decided to book an appointment for a skin check. The check was done manually and not a machine like other clinics advertise. The nurse was extremely friendly and I felt comfortable straight away. She conducted the examination and fed back to me on everything she found as she went along. I had a few questions to ask regarding sun exposure and found her very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend the clinic and have gained lots of information I can use for the future.

Very clear on what I could expect from the outset (including managing expectations about a return to running), effective combination of physio exercises and strength training and pragmatic about how often I needed to see him. Really friendly and it also helped that he’s a runner too! I’m now back to running three times a week, including one long run at weekends.

Mr Dimitri is very personable and an excellent consultant. I was booked in to have my varicose veins glued, he explained the procedure thoroughly. I was extremely nervous on the day but both he and Carys were patient and kind, they even put my choice of film on the TV to watch during the procedure! After being very self conscious of my unsightly veins they are now nowhere to be seen. Excellent results and I really couldn’t be happier!
