I was seen by a young male dentist (apologies, he did tell me but I can't recall his name and it isn’t listed on the website – perhaps he is new). He was professional, informative, and efficient throughout my appointment. As I’m allergic to local anaesthetics, fillings can be particularly uncomfortable, but he was very reassuring and took great care, as did the dental nurse. By far, this has been the best service I’ve experienced at the practice to date. My only critique is not directed at the dentist himself, but rather the practice’s policy. Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that patients cannot book a filling replacement directly without first having a pre-booking consultation. This essentially doubles both the cost and the time needed off work. In my case, a chipped filling was causing pain due to decay, and it was obvious that a replacement filling was required. I had to insist several times when booking that I did not need a pre-assessment, only a filling appointment. Given that I am a private patient and a silver filling costs almost £200, being charged for an unnecessary pre-booking simply to confirm what is already evident feels unreasonable.

While I was in the bathroom, my husband—who was waiting in my hospital room—asked her two questions regarding my discharge. On both occasions, she ignored him. Instead, she sighed loudly and then entered the bathroom without knocking, despite my husband explaining that I was inside. At that moment, I was in the process of dressing and felt very uncomfortable. When I told her I was using the toilet, she simply replied, “that’s fine,” and proceeded to discuss my hospital discharge from the bathroom doorway while I was trying to get pull my underwear up with one functioning arm!. This behavior was unprofessional and highly inappropriate, particularly in a private care setting. That being said, I cannot praise Mr. Ray and the rest of the team highly enough. It is simply unfortunate that this one individual let the otherwise excellent standard of care down.

I underwent a septorhinoplasty at the end of April 2025 to correct a deviated septum sustained after a fall. From the outset, the process was seamless. Julia, Mr. Bast’s secretary, was extremely helpful and arranged an appointment for me within just a few weeks. At my consultation, Mr. Bast was welcoming, professional, and thorough. He carefully assessed my skin and facial structure, and we discussed my goals for the rhinoplasty in detail. I felt truly listened to, reassured by his advice, and confident in proceeding with the surgery. It has now been nearly five months since the operation, and I am very pleased with the outcome. I experienced minimal bruising, and the aftercare and guidance I received have been exemplary. While the first few months of recovery were challenging, Mr. Bast was always accessible to address my concerns and arrange face-to-face reviews when necessary. Overall, my experience has been extremely positive, and I am delighted with both the care I received and the results of the surgery.

I cannot recommend Matthew highly enough. From the very beginning of my difficult pregnancy with hyperemesis, he was a constant source of support, reassurance, and guidance. He took the time to listen to my concerns and was incredibly compassionate throughout the ups and downs. When it came time to decide on a birth plan, Matthew walked us through every option in detail, making sure we understood the pros, cons, and potential risks of both vaginal birth and a c-section. I felt truly heard and supported in my decision, and ultimately we chose a c-section due to the challenges of my pregnancy and my anxieties around a vaginal delivery. The actual procedure could not have gone more smoothly, and my recovery has been fantastic. At 5 weeks postpartum, my scar looks beautiful and I feel back to myself much quicker than I ever expected. If we are lucky enough to have more children in the future, there is no question that we will be working with Matthew again throughout the entire journey.

The receptionist was very approachable and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease when I arrived. The health practitioner who saw me was calm, professional, and attentive. He took the time to discuss my previous health conditions and was able to pinpoint some of my concerns while offering clear, helpful advice. The health assessment itself was quick but thorough, and I felt reassured throughout. What impressed me most was how well everything was explained, from accessing my results to the range of other services available, including mental health support. I was also given practical guidance on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Overall, I left feeling very reassured and impressed by the high standard of care. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were supportive, and I would definitely recommend this hospital to others.

From the very first visit, he showed extraordinary compassion, not only towards my mother but also towards us as a family. He took the time to explain what was happening in clear and gentle terms, always respecting her dignity and wishes. His calm and reassuring presence gave us comfort during some of the most difficult days of our lives. What impressed us most was that he never treated her as just a patient, he treated her as a person, with warmth, patience and kindness. He made sure she was comfortable, managed her symptoms meticulously, and was always available to us when we needed guidance or support. Thanks to Dr Janmohamed, we were able to spend those final weeks focusing on being a family, knowing she was receiving the very best care. We will always be deeply grateful to him.

From start to finish my whole experience has been nothing short of excellent and then some. Nobody really wants a hefty operation but through the whole process at every consultation and on the day of surgery I have been thoroughly well informed and my mind always put at ease. Any questions have been answered promptly and in detail, alternative options explored and explained, and as a bonus the surgery didn't come close to touching my anticipated pain levels and has given me a whole new lease of life free from pain. I really cant thank Mr Al-Obaidi enough, he is empathetic, personable, and highly approachable, and I feel at all times has kept me informed and educated about my diagnosis and prognosis. Without any hesitation I would unequivocally recommend him to anybody considering or requiring hip replacement surgery.

He quickly recognised that I had endometriosis and gave me the right information to prepare for surgery. The surgery itself went very well, and now, three weeks later, my scars have healed beautifully - you can hardly notice them. Dr. Okaro showed professionalism, care, kindness, and a great deal of empathy and knowledge throughout my journey. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends who may have gynaecological concerns.

I arrived at the appointed time, checked in with the receptionist given forms to complete which I completed & handed back to the receptionist, after waiting half an hour passed my appointment time I was still waiting to be seen, eventually my partner asked a male nurse if Mr Patel was running late, and we were told that we were the next to be seen, when we were invited in to see Mr Pater he was very apologetic for keeping us waiting saying that there had been an administrative error whereby he had been told that I hadn’t arrived for my appointment, Mr Patel commented that he thought that was strange as the paperwork I had compieted on my arrival was on his desk. So he realised that I was there but nobody had apparently bothered to check.

I would highly rate the care that I was given throughout my time in the hospital and I would like to commend the nursing staff in particular, however I have one major issue which has left me very dissastisfied. During my first appointment I was told that I needed the socket of my hip replaced and was given a price for that procedure. Then I met with another doctor who said that said if the whole hip needed replaced it would cost considerably more and quoted a price up to £12000 more if this work needed to be done. It was confirmed after the operation that I only needed the socket replaced but was charged the price quoted for a full hip replacement without any explanation. I would like to hear from someone about resolving this issue.

I went to see Dr Sheeraz and could not walk due to requiring a hip replacement which came to light after having a triple fracture in my ankle. Dr Sheeraz provided great detail around the operation and my recovery. On the day of the operation he could sense I was nervous and emotional without me having to say anything. He performed the operation and visited me that evening to see how I was . In under 10 months of having my operation I have taken part in an ultra challenge walking marathon around London and climbed Snowdon ! Dr Sheeraz is a total expert in his field and I can’t commend him high even . He has given me my life back to do things I didn’t think were possible 10 months ago .

I arrived early as I had been unsure of the volume of traffic at that time of day. I saw my consultant at the time that I had expected to see her. The consultation was exactly as I would have expected from previous visits...she was kind and polite and every inch a professional. She was clear in her explanations, asked my views on the treatment and answered every question clearly. The procedure required that I remained on site for a while and, when it became necessary, she saw me again to revisit the treatment plan. A totally helpful experience and I have no reservations in recommending both the Nuffield and my consultant to friends and family.

On my first visit Dr Neirami knew straight away what my problem was after 9 years of constant pain. On my first visit for injections I recieved instant relief on my left leg, then on my second visit, instant relief on my right leg. He is a charming man, makes you feel safe in the operating room, and tells you everything that is happening to you, and what you should do at the time it is happening. I cannot thank him enough for the relief I’m feeling, and without his help I would be in severe pain each day and everyday. Dr Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos is an excellent thoracic surgeon. Totally comfortable with his skills, communication and bedside manners. I thank him, his team and all the nursing staff who cared for me during my recent thymus surgery, pre and post surgery visits. The warm and clean hospital environment, the friendly lobby and check in staff are fabulous too! Everything was seamless and efficient. Jemma was incredibly validating and knowledgeable. I was worried the ADHD assessment might feel like a test, but it felt more like a guided chat. It was very helpful in increasing my understanding of myself and my difficulties. Jemma was trauma informed, and acknowledged when parts of my life have been difficult and have impacted my current life. She was also neuroaware in general, and we spoke of the helpful aspects of my ADHD, such as my creativity. She was balanced regarding medication, and I felt well informed and that starting it was my choice, and not something pushed upon me.

Dr Syed sent me for an x-ray last week, I received a full explanation of results via letter within the week. He arranged to see me today. Charming and professional as always. He showed me the x-ray, pointed out each problems and discussed each problem. Explaining what should be done just now in the interim and treatment and prognosis for the future. The detail of his consultation is always followed by a precise letter stating every detail of the xray. I find this is very beneficial for myself but also for my GP. I fully put my trust in him.
