The thought of Cataract Surgery was for me a daunting prospect…so I undertook some research and this led me to John’s website which I found informative and reassuring. I was surprised to learn of the range of interocular lenses available which gave me cause to consider the outcome I wanted - in my case to be glasses free. I settled on the Rayner RayOne Galaxy IOL and confirmed this choice during my pre-op examination with John. The surgery (bilateral) was pain free with both eyes completed within an hour. The result was spectacular! … excellent close up vision for reading and distance vision significantly better than 20/20. All in all an extremely successful procedure with precisely the outcome I had sought. I have no hesitation in recommending John and the excellent team at Tetbury Hospital.

Dr Omar Ahmed was introduced to my case after a planned colonoscopy was performed. There was a complication with an abnormal polyp and he stepped in and took charge of the situation. He had to seek permission to perform the intricate surgery he wanted to perform and then succeed in performing it expertly. Dr Omar Ahmed wants to keep me in his care as a long term patient to ensure that any other abnormalities are dealt with as quickly, swiftly and in my opinion expertly as possible. I had an ADHD evaluation at Diverse Minds Clinic. I did some research before booking, and I chose Diverse Minds Clinic since the psychiatrist, Dr Alex Cappai, also works for the NHS ADHD service. Dr. Alex Cappai listened to me and made me feel heard. She was quite friendly, and I felt at ease during the assessment. I was diagnosed with Adult ADHD mixed type in my fifties, which was a bittersweet finding. Dr. Cappai provided me with practical counsel that was extremely beneficial, as well as the time I needed to comprehend my diagnosis. The staff at Diverse Minds Clinic have been really professional and helpful throughout the process, and I would strongly suggest this service.

I had my just under 3 year old toddler meet Dr Devereux last week at the end of my tether, as I was not getting the answers from other health care avenues with regards to my daughter's gradual deteriorating health. The professionalism, care and empathy I witnessed was beyond par, and it was thanks to the time and patience of the Dr, we were able to save my daughter from an existing brain tumour (unbeknown to us) from taking over. During my appointment, I was recommended a series of creams, and I did purchase them. I was a bit taken aback by the total expense at checkout, as the cost wasn't explicitly mentioned or discussed during our consultation. I was simply asked if I wanted to purchase them here today. It would also have been helpful for me as a patient to understand if there were any alternative products available through NHS, even if they weren't the primary recommendation.

I had a knee replacement and had a reaction to the anaesthetic which resulted in me having to spend several days in bed vomiting copiously. The staff were so supportive and caring; the nurses couldn’t help enough, the porters, physios, catering staff and cleaning crew were good natured , helpful and thorough. Since arriving home I have had numerous phone conversations with Horder staff, who have been reassuring and helpful with my recovery.

I was pleasantly surprised about the efficiency of Newmedica Worcester. I had only used NHS services prior to my NHS Newmedica appointments for cataract removal on both eyes. I was seen very quickly after referral by Specsavers Malvern. Each appointment went flawlessly. I also had laser treatment in my right eye. All staff were friendly and professional and I am very grateful to be able to see clearly once more.

I received shoulder surgery and was able to be discharged the same day. All of the nursing staff were friendly and informative, the physio treatment and advice was informative. All the staff I came across were very friendly. I especially enjoyed the roast dinner which was hot when served (a new experience). I would highly recommend Mr Khan and the London Independent hospital.
