20/10 I was recommended to Dr Alek by multiple friends, including one who is a doctor herself and trained under him. He came highly, highly recommended and is known as the best in the business — and I can completely understand why. From the moment I walked into the practice, I was warmly greeted by Sam, the practice administrator. She was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. Thank you, Sam! I’ve seen many aesthetic doctors and practitioners before, and Dr Alek is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. Previously, consultations felt rushed — numbing cream applied, a quick question about what I wanted, and straight into the procedure. With Dr Alek, it was completely different. We began with a thorough consultation where we discussed my concerns, the procedures I was interested in, and everything I’ve previously had done — including where, when, and any medications I’m on. He then did a full facial assessment, looking at proportions, symmetry, and structure. He carefully felt for any existing filler or lumps, explained what they were, and clearly walked me through what we can and can’t do moving forward. Everything was explained in a way that was detailed yet easy to understand. We created a thoughtful plan of action together, and what stood out most was that he never once tried to “sell” me on anything — something I’ve experienced with every other practitioner before. It’s immediately clear that he truly cares about his patients, has an incredible passion for what he does, and an exceptional eye for detail. He really knows his craft. Today we did Botox, and it was genuinely pain-free. He is precise, intentional, and incredibly gentle. As soon as I left, I couldn’t wait to call my husband and tell him how amazing the experience was. I’ve now officially joined my group of friends who cannot recommend Dr Alek highly enough. I had penis filler and it was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I had the filler on the Monday and by Wednesday I was in a&e with a very balloon swollen penis and had to have catheter inserted in my penis for 5 days. I was then rushed for emergency surgery the next morning to remove the filler and infection at the injection site. I was in hospital and 5 days and I’m now under a nhs urologist because the urologist at Moorgate cancelled the video call because he said it was unwell. Once they have your money your on your own and the chances of compilations are a lot higher than what they claim. The office I had my filler was not sterilised and moor like someone’s living room. Once if fully recovered I find out if it’s caused and permanent damage I will be looking to start a medical neglect claim against Moorgate. PLEASE if your thinking about having this done seriously I would re consider. Just use an extender/pump.

All of the staff at Nuthfield were so kind. Everyone was always smiling and being happy and kind to myself and my partner. From the receptionist who told us where to go and took us to our room. To the night nurse that checked us in to the room. I had multiple nurses come and check on me throughout the time I waited to have the cystoscopy. We were able to get food before and after. We arrived at 07:00 on the 27th, and I can't remember all the lovely people's names who helped us. My only slight criticism would be from arriving at the hospital at 07:00 the actual procedure didn't start till after 09:00 and this gave me lots of time to overthink the procedure. But I think that was a me problem and I also don't know how long these things take to check people in etc. So apologies if it is standard haha.

I attended Spencer Ashford Hospital which was easy to find and was able to park nearby in the carpark using a Blue Badge displayed. Access was at ground level with no steps. Reception staff greeted me straight away and booked me in, provided necessary to complete my procedure. Toilets were easily accessed just off Reception and there is a water machine free. All staff including the medical team that I saw were engaging, jovial yet professional. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing with about three patients waiting. Mr Georgios Papadopoulos explained the procedure that I was undergoing in depth and was unrushed and very calm and inquired whether I had questions. His team were as fantastic ensuring that I was at ease throughout. At no point did I feel under pressure to leave after the procedure.

I saw the cardiologist as I couldn’t get appointments at my GP surgery. I was really impressed with the whole procedure. The Consultant was wonderful and was able to reassure me. He listened to me and later explained all the results of the tests. He did an Angiogram on me himself which I thought was a great idea as he could see my heart in real time, no report from a technician needed no wait. I had to have bloods taken by Debbie . A very nice nurse . Again I was made to feel comfortable and reassured with my problem. There is a plan in place and I return to see cardiologist again next week. I will definitely use the facility in the future for myself and family. Due to the chaos that is the NHS at present.

I highly recommend Miss Mez Aref-Adib. I’m 39 years old and had a 6 cm fibroid that caused heavy bleeding and severe pain. Dr. Aref-Adib performed my laparoscopic surgery and successfully removed all of the fibroids. She was extremely attentive to my condition after the surgery, followed up closely to make sure everything was going well, and was always available to answer any questions I had during recovery. Three months later, I feel so much better, and there is only a very faint mark left from the stitches on my abdomen. I highly recommend Dr. Aref-Adib—not only because she is highly skilled and professional, but also because she is genuinely kind, caring, and responsive.

This was my first major operation. I was very nervous and quite anxious before going to the hospital. After booking in, I was taken to my room where the staff carried out all their pre ops checks. Whilst doing this my nerves began to calm as the staff were so warming and kind in their approach. My operation was early in the morning and I was back in my room in time for lunch. My post operative care was also of a high standard, the staff were excellent. The operation went very well and I would highly recommend the operation and also Yorkshire Clinic.

Ms Labidi was a lovely doctor who operated on my foot and resolved my problem by removing an object with the callous, I had been suffering in a lot of pain for a year and a half before this since since something had got into my foot, even after the anaesthetic had worn off after the operation I had absolutely no pain whatsoever, and my foot has healed in just 1 week and have had no pain since I would like to thank Dr Labidi and Allison and all of the lovely and kind staff who looked after me at Solihull hospital, I am so grateful , many many thanks x

Positive perks - the waiting room had adjustable height chairs meaning I didn't have to struggle getting in and out of chairs! Dr Chinoy didn't judge me, or make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience (something I have grown accustomed to from the nhs). Despite my symptoms not fitting in with his specialities he recommended a colleague who he feels confident would be able to meet my needs. Although private care is hard on my wallet as a self funder, the advice, treatment and service I received overall made it more than worthwhile.

I came to Mr Hodges to get both my lower wisdom teeth extracted. He was diligent and recommended 3D X-rays to see how close the teeth were to the nerve.
