Reception staff were very helpful both on arrival and when leaving the centre. The medical staff were very knowledgeable & took time to explain everything that would be part of the procedures. The doctor and his team of nurses worked very well together, a well run team. I liked the idea that a nurse remained beside me throughout all the procedures, explaining things as they happened. The recovery room nurse was very attentive and very helpful in her explanation of the printouts following the procedures. The discharge staff in the discharge waiting room provided a very welcome cup of tea and a slice of toast. I had been fasting for over 24 hours by that stage.

Mr Thomas took the time to listen to my story and concerns and ensured that he addressed any questions that I or my husband had during the consultation. His explanation as to the cause of my pain and the review of my MRI scan was very clear and aided by the use of a 3D model of the spine where needed. He outlined a clear management plan and I felt that I had met a clinician who had listened to me and taken the time to tease out the probable cause and devised a clear management plan. The consultation was easy to arrange and everyone in the Harley street clinic was helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend Mr Thomas.

From consultation to follow up after surgery, you cannot ask for anyone better than Mr. Freites. I felt comfortable and well informed about my surgery and what I could expect afterwards. But what really ment the most was the fact that he acknowledged my fibromyalgia, taking into consideration how the fibromyalgia would respond to the stress of surgery, doing whatever he could to limit that stress, even down to words of encouragement and sometimes it’s just the little things that help the most in healing. Thank you Mr. Freites, so glad I picked you to do my surgery.

Positive perks - the waiting room had adjustable height chairs meaning I didn't have to struggle getting in and out of chairs! Dr Chinoy didn't judge me, or make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience (something I have grown accustomed to from the nhs). Despite my symptoms not fitting in with his specialities he recommended a colleague who he feels confident would be able to meet my needs. Although private care is hard on my wallet as a self funder, the advice, treatment and service I received overall made it more than worthwhile.

I’ve been going to this practice for many years and sadly the staff turnover, both dentists, hygienists and reception staff has been high. Today I saw a hygienist for the second time, who remembered my last visit and what was discussed which was really nice. Silly I know, but I have not felt like I have had my “own” dentist/hygienist here ever. The building is under renovation and seems to have been for a long time. So the building looks unfinished but not unclean. Hopefully at my next visit in 6 months time it will be finished.

I can’t recommend this clinic enough. Anjila Rokaya is an excellent physiotherapist and truly made all the difference for me…I’ve had so much improvement in my shoulder pain since starting treatment. She was professional, knowledgeable, and really supportive throughout. Also a huge thank you to Kelly for being so helpful with my booking.. she called me back quickly and gave me clear information about my insurance invoice and everything I needed. I had a full knee replacement and was absolutely delighted with the outcome. As expected, the first two weeks were sore with limited movement, but from there on the progress was fantastic. I increased the level of exercise and was so pleased with the range of movement and knee bend I was able to achieve. Strength increased and by twelve weeks post op, I was back playing club tennis. I really can’t say enough re Andrew’s professionalism and competence. A complete success.

Overall the experience was very good. There was some confusion in trying to ensure all my records had been received by the Clinic in advance of the consultation. This required a number of back and forth emails between myself, my Cardiologist in Wales and Papdakis's secretary. Cardiologist insisted everything had been sent, Secretary said it had not all been received. But we got there in the end.

Just a note: there are major roadworks directly outside the hospital so give an extra 10 minutes on your journey time when travelling to an appointment.
