I saw Mr Chahal yesterday after struggling with ankle problems since pregnancy, and more recently suffering two injuries that have caused my ankle to give way without warning. The pain and swelling have become overwhelming, especially from midday into the evening, and I finally knew it was time to seek help. From the moment I met Mr Chahal, I felt completely at ease. He was incredibly kind, calm, and transparent, taking the time to explain his thoughts clearly and compassionately. There was absolutely no pressure to make any decisions, and as someone who struggles with anxiety, this meant more to me than I can put into words. He explained possible causes and treatment options in a way that was reassuring rather than alarming, and I never once felt panicked. Sadly, some consultants can make you feel as though you’re being dramatic or exaggerating your symptoms, but Mr Chahal was the complete opposite. There was no judgement, only understanding, respect, and genuine care. I felt truly listened to, and that alone was incredibly comforting. Mr Chahal is everything you would hope for in a consultant. Calming, honest, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He has a quiet confidence that immediately builds trust, and it’s clear he is an expert in his field. I left my appointment feeling hopeful, supported, and reassured that I am finally in the right hands. Thank you so much, Mr Chahal. I genuinely don't know where to begin in expressing my gratitude for Mr Holton. He is incredible - such a talented and amazing surgeon and I honestly feel so thankful I was lucky enough to have my hip replacement surgery with him. He is a genuinely wonderful and caring person and he has changed my life immeasurably. He ensured I was fully aware of what was possible in terms of outcomes, but the outcomes have indeed exceeded all expectations. I had regular touchpoints in the days following surgery, 6 weeks after and then 10 months after that. I am usually a bit of a worrier but I felt so informed throughout that I didn't have any worries. Not only do I have a brand new hip, Mr Holton was also able to lengthen my leg - which was a 3cm difference. I had lived my life in pain for so long as a result of my congenital hip and I'd developed arthritis in the hip joint. The difference in my leg brought many alignment issues, along with back and neck issues as a direct result. For the first time in my life I am living completely pain free, my pelvis is level and I now live such a full life. It has completely changed my quality of life and I cannot thank him enough. Genuinely from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much.

I had a bilateral cataract operation, performed by Mr. Deshmukh. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. The technicians who did all the assessment checks (separate and earlier appointment) were excellent. At this appointment I met Mr Deshmukh who put me at ease and we discussed the best replacement lenses to suit my needs. For me the premium lenses were the right choice. On the day of the operation the hospital staff were brilliant - professional and good humoured. The operation was completely painless and took much less time than I had anticipated. The immediate aftercare was been superb and the nurse talked me through what I had to do and just as importantly avoid doing. I was given some eye drops to use for the next 4 weeks. You quickly become expert at using them. Following the operation my eyesight was as good as I can remember it ever being. I then returned for a follow up consultation with Mr Deshmukh who confirmed that my recovery was going very well and my vision is better than 20/20. I have worn spectacles since my early teens and this is an incredible outcome. I can now proceed with my training to become a driving instructor.

Jag skulle absolut rekommendera Castle Craig till alla som söker stöd, även om det innebär att resa från ett annat land.

The experience I had regarding the procedure was nothing short of excellent. All pre op discussions were clear and concise and with no pressure. Facts and previous experiences were mentioned to help me make an informed decision about my condition and how best to proceed. The procedure itself went as planned and Chris and the rest of the hospital staff were extremely professional throughout. Anything I asked for was dealt with promptly and efficiently. I never really felt at unease with anything even though the situation did involve a surgical procedure. Although I am only one day after surgery I am already feeling better and this is mainly due to the great care provided by Chris and the team.

I have not had a very positive experience at all and feel that the diagnosis is not accurate and the reasons given and report are not satisfactory - despite the report saying what i said word for word the analysis is simply not effective and does not align with my symptoms - there was no point having a consultation of the doctor only went off the forms and did not correlate information - also there was no understanding of why i thought i was adhd - i have done extensive research in this field and it would have been better to have an adhd checklist than the autism on

first meeting Dr Chauhan I felt at ease and he instantly gave me a lot of confidence to have a major operation, a full hip replacement. He explained in detail what would happen etc etc. In the operating theatre he again put me at ease with his professionalism and the operation was over and done before I knew it with no problems at all. All aftercare by himself and his staff was excellent. I would recommend anyone who is in need of surgery to seriously book Dr Chauhan as he was excellent. Highly recommend him

Everything was excellent from the excellent surgeon Dr Chauhan to the nurses the food, the care and attention given etc etc. Only thing that was poor was the pharmacy took way too long to sort out my medication. Waited for hours. Shame because everything else is superb
