I went to see Monica as I was struggling with irregular periods, low energy, bloating, irregular bowel movements, and generally not feeling at my best. Monica took a thorough medical and symptom history and organised functional testing for me, including a stool test and a hormone test. She quickly identified that my thyroid needed support and focused on improving my gut health. I followed a nutritional and supplementation plan for three months, which was practical and, I must say, also delicious. Now my energy is great, my bowel movements are regular, I no longer have a bloated belly, and my period is only a couple of days off a 28-day cycle. I am over the moon with the results and would recommend Monica to any woman struggling with low energy, hormone-related challenges, or digestive issues. She has been incredibly supportive and understanding, and the plan she created for me was completely tailored to my busy lifestyle, as well as my likes and dislikes. I attended Spencer Ashford Hospital which was easy to find and was able to park nearby in the carpark using a Blue Badge displayed. Access was at ground level with no steps. Reception staff greeted me straight away and booked me in, provided necessary to complete my procedure. Toilets were easily accessed just off Reception and there is a water machine free. All staff including the medical team that I saw were engaging, jovial yet professional. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing with about three patients waiting. Mr Georgios Papadopoulos explained the procedure that I was undergoing in depth and was unrushed and very calm and inquired whether I had questions. His team were as fantastic ensuring that I was at ease throughout. At no point did I feel under pressure to leave after the procedure.

1. We were wrong footed by the entrance barrier, but luckily another patient was close to the entrance button. 2. Parking was tight - we had to park in the radiology section, but hoped that would be ok. 3. The surgery was wonderfully light and airy and spatially arranged in such a way that each patient could have space and privacy. 4. The staff i have spoken to on the phone were immensely welcoming and efficient, as were the ladies on the desk on arrival 5. The loos were wonderfully clean and airy. 6. Dr. Johnstone was most welcoming and sympathetic. I can't make the next step work, which is to review Dr. J. On only one visit, my experience was very positive. She was clearly listening to what i was saying, and made a very quick referral, for which I am very grateful.

Great doctor, very knowledgeable, looking at a bigger picture. Very dedicated and spending as much time as required, not rushing things but gather full information about the patient. Dr Dunia can explain very well the dependencies, tests needed and what to expect once the results are back. She has also an up to date knowledge on nutrition and quick changes that will made a difference, even in a life of a family as busy as ours. I can't recommend Dr Ismail enough. Thank you!

My visit was well run with all preparations going smoothly. Apparently it was rather difficult to waken me after the operation and therefore had to remain overnight. I was told that I would be contacted approximately four weeks after, but this didn’t happen. I would have liked to have been explained the reason for the problem with my awakening as it might be useful should I need a general anaesthetic in the future.
