I am having treatment for macular and glaucoma problems at the Stanley Eye Hospital in Abergele but wanted to be reassured about the use of one treatment I was receiving at the hospital, in particular about the time period between injections which was causing my eyesight to deteriorate before the subsequent injection improved it again. I wanted to know if my eyesight would still return to the improved state although it had deteriorated in the meantime due to the time interval between injections. Mr. Mathews was able to reassure me that this would not be a problem and that a longer lasting drug would probably be offered to me at the Eye Hospital at my next appointment. Mr. Mathews is a genial and thorough gentleman who took the time to explain to me about my conditions, something that had not been explained fully to me in my previous consultations elsewhere. I was also reassured about my current situation and my prognosis. My consultation was relaxed and I never felt that I was being rushed. All Mr. Mathews's nursing and reception colleagues were extremely friendly, helpful and professional and I was put completely at ease before seeing Mr. Mathews. I was invited back by Mr. Mathews at any time in the future should I require more reassurance or an opinion on my current treatment at that time. I cannot overstate how satisfied I was with my experience at the NW Eye Specialist Centre. A huge "Thank you" to all the staff.

I received a very warm welcome from the receptionist and was seen exactly on my appointment time. Dr. Ratnavel was extremely friendly, engaging, and thorough in his explanation. He immediately identified the issue on my ankles and explained everything clearly and reassuringly and prescribed the right treatment. I also had some concerns about pigmentation on my face and on my tummy, but he reassured that there was nothing to worry about and explained what they were. The whole experience was smooth, quick, and very positive. Dr. Ratnavel has a genuinely welcoming and professional manner, and I left feeling completely at ease. I would highly recommend him to friends and family, and I would not hesitate to see him again in the future. I am really grateful for the Profrac treatment Dr Mahto did for my acne scarring. I thought to pass on my thanks to her again as my skin has really improved since my last visit. She gave great professional advice catering to my particular skin type. Dr Mahto is obviously very knowledgeable in her area of work. Her explanation of how the treatments would work for me was very clear. Given the risks with the treatment (especially as I have Asian skin) I thought that the outcome and type of treatment suggested to me was the exactly what was needed. Katie Dawson was also brilliant in making me comfortable and I found it really easy to ask her questions, something I appreciated given I’ve never had these kind of treatments before.

I have had two procedures this summer. The first a complex t11/t12 thoracic lascectomy and the second an l4/l5 lumbar lascectomy. Both were very successful and now allow me to walk normally after barely being able to do so with the aid of walking poles. I had a great deal of confidence in Mr Grahovac not only because of his very evident surgical expertise but also because he took the time to listen to my questions and explain what had happened to my back , the options, risks and benefits of different possible procedures. His after care was also excellent with each procedure. I would highly recommend Mr Grahovac.

I have atrial fibrillation and visited Dr Kalla as part of an annual consultation. Although I am in permanent AFib I show no negative symptoms and after two cardioversions performed by Dr Kalla we established that my health is no better/worse when I’m in rhythm. Consequently, we simply monitor yearly. I find Dr Kalla feedback excellent. Explanations are clear and based from logic which is always qualified by facts/statistics. I have no hesitation recommending Dr Kalla and he is undoubtedly one of the very best heart experts in the UK

Recently had vein procedure was disappointed that not all veins were treated .I'd explained i was having procedure because of upcoming flight to australia .I returned for check up to be told I had fleabiteus on area that had been treated. I've decided to postpone more treatment until I get back from australia as I am worried of any more problems before flying. I'm disappointed that what I thought was going to be a straight forward procedure has not been .I wish I hadn't gone ahead with the procedure. Very disappointed

The Nuffield Hospital, Glasgow has an excellent team of nursing staff , physiotherapist and not forgetting the kitchen crew who served delicious nutritious meals with great menu choice. The nursing staff were there day and night to attend to any needs with care and attention. Physiotherapist were very knowledgeable in what to do, and more importantly what not to do, encouraging you with your exercise plan and pushing your boundaries to a speedier recovery.

I have been dealing with new incredibly itchy skin and had seen multiple doctors who were unable to diagnose the condition. Within a few minutes Dr Ong had given me a diagnosis and treatment plan my scabies, identified the mites which he showed me, and now finally my ordeal is over and the itching is finally clearing!

My phone appointment was at 3pm and he didn’t even try to phone me until 4.33 pm. I had made my self available from 2pm as requested but he was well beyond the end time I was requested to be available. There was no apology for phoning me so late. To add insult to injury, I then had the consultation with him for about 10 minutes, some of which was him reading my notes to remind himself who I was. This cost me £70!

Excellent Mr Shergill greeted me early. Ask how i was doing, showed the scar s d he explained i have a scar that most Indian or black persons have. Just means my body over heals. A few exercises and was very pleased. I asked a question or two as he said do I have any. Left very happy. The overall experience has been excellent the whole team, has settled me for my first surgery after 56 years.
