I met Mr Wong (Billy) around August 2024 for recurrent sinusitis and loss of taste / smell. Billy has always been so attentive, responsive, considerate and kind. Billy explains everything clearly so I completely understood what was happening. Billy is thorough in his care: obtaining images to better understand what is going on before making an ongoing plan. I recently had sinus surgery (FESS) with Billy as my condition had not improved despite good medical management. Billy is not only an incredibly skilled surgeon, he is also a fantastic and caring individual (with a good sense of humour too!). Billy met with me before surgery and reassured me, he was also in the pre op room, then in the theatre with me, then recovery and also post op to debrief and check up on how I was feeling. This kind of healthcare is so vital to people's wellbeing; this stuff matters, it's a shame that it's so rare, but with Billy; it's there as standard and flawless! I cannot recommend him enough. I was very grateful to be seen at The Royal Free after some difficulties with my current Rheumatology team believing my struggles. Professor Denton is extremely knowledgeable and explained things much better than I'd heard before. I would have been grateful for a bit more time as it felt a little rushed at the end. The volunteers showing me in were lovely. The hospital was extremely busy but I didn't have to wait for long to be seen. I guess the only let down was the reception team arguing and shouting down the corridor whilst I was on the floor. There was clearly a fall out and it didn't feel very professional when they were all shouting at each other. This is the first time I've ever paid for a private appointment and it was out of desperation for help.

Welcoming and helpful. Only one lift was working and the remaining one was noisy and slow but there was a notice advising of this. The coffee machine in wait area was out of order Reception staff were kind and helpful but sometimes difficult to understand accent. One set of chairs in a sub waiting area was under a shelf which meant I knocked my head. Appeared clean and efficient and was quiet on day of my visit. Preoperative bloods were done straight after consultation which is very good and in fact results appeared next day. That's good service. Overall allowing for things that happen a positive experience.

On the day I was apprehensive which I would consider natural. However I was well looked after at every stage and always had confidence in Dr Agarwal. The procedure was uneventful and all of my concerns proved unfounded. It was all so much easier for me than I had anticipated. The immediate improvement in vision was more than I had expected. There were no problems during the recovery period and at my eye check after six weeks the ophthalmologist told me everything was perfect. I now have excellent vision in that eye. Should the other eye need done I hope Dr Agarwal will do it.

Had the most amazing time at Abbington House, was exactly what I needed. Was immediately made to feel welcome by staff and clients, everyone has been so warm, friendly and non - judgemental. Food was excellent and the chef Marion was amazing at catering for everyone’s individual needs. I’ve gotten so much out of the groups and one on one sessions. After 28 days I feel like I have been given an amazing framework to take with me on the outside and have met a community that will stay with me throughout the rest of my journey. Yesterday I had a phone call from Mr Yang who came up with a plan for my latest UTI . We had a full and informative discussion. Within 5 mons of his call I had a private prescription emailed to me and within 30 mins I had a phone call from Forbury saying my UTI vaccine was ready for collection. I went to the Forbury and the vaccine was all ready for me complete with cooling pack to keep it cold. During the afternoon I also received a very accurate clinic letter from Mr Yang and copied to my GP. All very speedy and efficient and much appreciated.

My recent visit to the Fortius Clinic for removal of stitches and a post operative assessment was short, on time and to the point. On arrival, as always for previous appointments, the reception staff were briefed and I was immediately sent to the correct location, waiting time in a comfortable environment was minimal before being called in to see my surgeon, Mr Houlihan-Burne. who took the time to answer a few questions. and assure me that should there be any future queries or worries, he & his staff were always available. I had a check up.....my teeth are not doing very well and I'm holding on to them and looking after them as best I can....my dentist compared my latest x-ray with one taken 2 years ago and explains what's going on and what I can do to keep them as long as I can ... it's good she takes the time to explain without making me feel awkward....
