I have recently had a total hip replacement, due to arthritis and suffering pain on the side replaced. The initial consultation with the surgeon who would perform the operation ( Dr N. Ohly ) was very informative on what would be required and the expectations on my recovery with the assistance of the physiotherapy team within the Nuffield. Nursing staff were excellent in their attention and care package, ensuring the wound was clean and no signs of leakage, my time with them very pleasant, friendly and helpful in my needs. The physiotherapist team were as encouraging as you would expect. Walking with a frame shortly after surgery and then progressing onto sticks. The exercise routine they introduced me to was very helpful in my speedy return to full mobility and return to the gym classes. I cannot recommend Dr Nick Ohly highly enough on the procedure he performed on me, releaving the pain I had suffered in my hip. Taking the time to check on my recovery and friendly chat while in hospital, and with the thorough final check up and talk on how I was recovering after my return home.

Dr. Ethan is a truly lovely man who genuinely listens to his patients — and that means a lot. He has helped me so much with my arthritis and chronic fatigue. After being bed-bound for almost four years, I’ve now been working with him for about a year and I can finally get out, enjoy life, and spend time with my family again. What stands out most is how caring and heartfelt he is. You always feel safe talking to him because he really gets to your level — as he often says, he’s a patient himself, so he understands how important it is to feel heard. He’s wonderfully direct, which I appreciate, because you know he’s looking out for your best interests. Yes, I was surprised by the fees at first, but the service is so personal and attentive that it’s absolutely worth it. He treats every patient as important, and I completely trust him. I’m not a particularly sentimental person, but he’s genuinely special — and super funny too! After a year of steady progress, I can honestly say working with Dr. Ethan has been one of the best decisions I’ve made!

The booking part of the process was the only thing that could be improved. Took a log time from seeing the consultant to being contacted. The staff member was quite abrupt and inflexible. I was on my way out of the door at the time (7.30pm) and she didn’t seem empathetic to this. No way for me to text the information required in (BUPA details which the hospital already has been sent!). So I was told to call back next day to recite the information. I was offered a single booking time…take it or leave it! The actual appointment and scan was faultless. Friendly and empathetic staff greeted me, were on time (in fact early!) and the whole process was smooth and the scans explained to me clearly and were done quickly. I am however still awaiting the results…so turn around is nearly a month from reporting my concerns about cancer recurrence,

We’ve been seeing Dr. Amar at Happy Kids Dental in Hammersmith with both of our children, and he has been absolutely amazing every single time. He’s kind, professional, patient, and always knows how to make kids feel relaxed and safe — even when they were a bit scared at first! Unfortunately, both of our kids had a few cavities, but thanks to Dr. Amar’s gentle and caring approach, they got through all the treatments without fear or stress — and now they actually look forward to seeing the dentist! 🦷💛 A huge thank you to Dr. Amar for his incredible care and kindness. I had to book a blood test after seeing a consultant and a follow up telephone appointment for the next week. I sat and waited 45 mins for my blood test and then had to go and ask at Reception how much longer I would have to wait. The original Receptionist who booked it had gone home. I was then seen within 10 minutes. Also follow up appointment had been booked as face to face when I specifically said “telephone appointment”. Luckily the consultant remembered he said to book telephone appointment and rang me at the specified time. Two mistakes by the same receptionist. Not good

Mr Al-Fhaily was so reassuring at all times. I was worried that I was perhaps wasting his time, but he was patient and reassuring at every step. He helped me to understand that my condition was not unusual, more common than women my age are aware of. Yet, I had left it so long before asking for help. He gave me lots of useful links and advice too. The solution was more simple than I'd dared to hope and I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism and time.

The Nuffield Hospital, Glasgow has an excellent team of nursing staff , physiotherapist and not forgetting the kitchen crew who served delicious nutritious meals with great menu choice. The nursing staff were there day and night to attend to any needs with care and attention. Physiotherapist were very knowledgeable in what to do, and more importantly what not to do, encouraging you with your exercise plan and pushing your boundaries to a speedier recovery.

I had a gastroscopy at St Joseph's and was extremely nervous due to a bad experience at another hospital some years ago. Dr Czajkowski and team were absolutely amazing, reassuring me and helping to put me at ease as soon as I arrived. I need not have worried as the procedure was carried out so professionally with minimal discomfort. I won't hesitate to recommend St Joseph's to anyone I know needing that procedure, or similar.

I had the most fruitful medical experience with Dr Ong and cannot recommend and thank him highly enough. I have been dealing with new incredibly itchy skin and had seen multiple doctors who were unable to diagnose the condition. Within a few minutes Dr Ong had given me a diagnosis and treatment plan my scabies, identified the mites which he showed me, and now finally my ordeal is over and the itching is finally clearing!

Dr Lord effectively assessed a calf injury from last year, identified the problem where there had been some minor tearing, and also looked at my feet showing some thickening on the tendon causing my pain. The report he provided was great as I can give this to my physio and better approach improving my symptoms.
