My first appointment was arranged within a week. After my appointment I was offered surgery in exactly one more week. Everything was great, lovely facilities, lovely staff. Everyone was very friendly and constantly being offered coffee etc. On every occasion I was taken either on time or early. I was put at ease and everything was fully explained and what the best lenses for me would be, based on my history and interests. On the day of surgery, everything went fine and there was no pain whatsoever, merely a strange feeling as the surgeon did his stuff. Afterwards I was given advice re eye drops and aftercare and again all great. Everything was fine when I got home, merely discomfort and that soon passed. I had plenty of people checking and following up that all was well. Finally, I had a follow up visit after a few weeks and again everything was great and very professional and I was advised to see my optician and GP. Throughout my time, the service I received was first class.

I visited the hospital to see an orthopaedic surgeon after having a fall at work and damaging my knee. I have had issue with it since the accident I suffered at work.I was advised to lodge a claim with my employers insurance. This I did because of the problems I am having with my knee. I was sent to see this gentleman so he could assess the damage to my knee. I was treated as if I was only there because I was lodging a claim and to have recompense for the damage I suffered and still am. He seemed very abrupt and I felt as though I was cross examined over the form I had filled in regarding my injury. I left the room feeling like I had done something extremely bad and wrong. I have never had to go through this scenario and very much hope not to have to go through another. I am a patient who has an injury that I am advised my a consultant needs an operation yet I was treated though I was feigning injury. I do not feel valued having attend at the one hospital.

I am sure it is only natural to be very protective towards one's eyes and, from the moment of the first 'drops' being inserted in my right eye, I was extremely nervous and was dreading every moment. I was conscious throughout the whole operation on my right eye and it was not until it was all over that I realised I had not experienced any discomfort (let alone pain) from the moment the eye drops were first administered, to when the operation was all over. I am so grateful for the exceptional care and attention I received and, when it is time to operate on my left eye, I will enter the anesthetic room with the tried & tested knowledge that there is nothing for me to fear as I will not experience any discomfort whatsoever. I am extremely fortunate to have undergone an eye operation, performed by a team of such capable, dedicated and knowledgeable experts who safeguarded me from any discomfort.

From the very first appointment, Dr Ram took the time to really listen to my symptoms and explain the procedure in a way that made me feel informed and comfortable. The injections themselves were handled with incredible skill and care under local sedation..Dr Ram and the team were calm, reassuring, and professional the entire time. The procedure was much smoother than I expected, It’s rare to find a doctor who combines expertise with genuine compassion, but Dr.Ram does exactly that. Had an appointment with Mr Ofinran after a routine test found irregularities that needed to be checked. Mr Ofinran was great at explaining my initial results in more detail which gave me a better understanding and clarity that things weren’t as bad as I’d interpreted. I had a follow on procedure where Mr Ofinran took biopsies. He was considerate, explained the process whilst he was doing it, and gave me some great follow up advice about what to expect. My results consultation followed form - Mr Ofinran took his time to explain the results of the biopsy and made sure if I had any questions these were answered. I would recommend Mr Ofinran.

I had a total knee replacement on 11 December and 7 weeks on, I have been discharged. Mr David was amazing, giving clear and easy to understand details of my operation. The first night was painful until my meds were sorted and Mr David visited me after the operation to reassure me of my recovery. I have followed all my physio exercises and I am so pleased with the results. But overall, I am no longer in any pain. I will need my other knee done at some point and will definitely be contacting Mr David for my next operation. Thank you.

Clinic was running early and was a review, following procedure about 6 months ago. The August visit followed about 5 years struggle with an ulcer on my big toe, which had resulted in me being unable to swim or bath/ shower easily. It took minutes to perform and I feel that I have got my life back. He did it there and then. My podiatrist was so impressed she used it as a case study on a staff training day.

Very happy with my consultant and the nursing staff but (as I have previously said in feedback) that waiting area (on the first floor) at Parkside really needs improvement. The reception staff are unfriendly, talk noisily amongst themselves, the coffee machine was broken today, there are sirens (or alarms or phone rings?) going off regularly which is not good for anxious patients

I was referred prof. Branley for possible sleeping disorders. Prod Branley walked me through all the aspect of what could be the reasons for my issue. He also asked a lot of questions about myself and my daily routine to get a full medical profile. He explained certain terminology and made some suggestions. I definitely would recommend him if you may have sleep disorders.

I cannot recommend the clinic highly enough. Staff are friendly but professional and the level of care is exceptional. All appointments are followed up very quickly with a letter confirming all that was discussed and then follow up appointments are arranged very quickly. Would not hesitate to use this clinic for any further medical issues.
