After seriously injuring both ankles and a long recovery, it was a complete game changer when I started treatment with my physio Steph. She was friendly and professional and quickly put me at my ease. Steph was both flexible and methodical in her approach, measuring my progress, returning to exercises regularly, which I found helpful in maintaining my focus and my momentum. Steph was responsive and adjusted exercises where necessary but generally this was not needed as she pitched the pace and level of activity to be suitably challenging. Steph was goal orientated, encouraging and solution focused. It felt like I had a clear pathway to recovery and that Steph was really committed to my well-being and focused on helping me get the best outcomes. The centre have a range of treatments available including massage, podiatry and Pilates classes so that I could benefit from a holistic approach to my injuries. Steph has explained things well to me as we have gone along so that I have understood the rationale which I have really appreciated. Since the moment I entered the clinic I was very well taken care of. The friendliness of the staff made all potential stress go away in seconds. The procedure itself was almost pain free and if any pain was felt that was similar to when one has their blood test done. My treatment was both radiofrequency ablation as well as foam sclerotherapy on both legs. It was done literally in a flash while having a friendly relaxing chat with doctor and nurses. I was shocked when I was informed the treatment was already completed. I have been instructed about the aftercare as a reminder as I had received many emails before the treatment explaining all stages including recovery. Then I simply got out of the clinic and had a walk around the city with my husband who was also amazed how quickly it all went. Their aftercare is spot on too and you can get in touch any time you might feel concerned. It is now my fourth day after the treatment and I feel great and I am so happy that all nasty vericose veins I had are gone. I was recently referred to The Alexandra hospital as an NHS patient for a left hip replacement. I was very nervous as I have a rare genetic condition called 'Nail Patella Syndrome' which affects my bones and my previous, right hip replacement was complicated when my femur broke during surgery. Mr Phaltankar was wonderful. He explained everything to me and was a real gentleman. The surgery was a huge success using a different, smaller prosthetic. I would highly recommend Mr Phaltankar. I cannot thank him enough for sorting out my very painful left hip. I would also like to add that being at 'The Alex' for this surgery was a fabulous experience. The care I received throughout was second to none. I could not have received better care.

Mr Yu performed successful glaucoma surgery on my eye 2 months ago. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable, taking the time to clearly explain the procedure to me beforehand, patiently answering all my questions fully. His continuing aftercare has been excellent, and my eye recovered more quickly than I expected, with much less pain than I had anticipated, all down to his high level of expertise. I always find the receptionists at The Holly difficult to deal with. The booking in experience is poor as one often has to wait for ages whilst the receptionists are on the phone or chatting or apparently doing something on their computers. It is a pity as the doctors and nurses and other staff including the porters at The Holly are extremely good. The receptionists in both the outpatients area and the scan receptionists need better training and better management. I would say however that the GP area receptionists and the front desk receptionists are very nice and very helpful so I have no issues with them.

We feel very honoured to have Dr Shebani as our Daughters Cardiologist, she has been with us on the full journey from fetal to present (16years) As a parent having a child with a heart condition it can be very daunting. We have received the best care possible and Dr Shebani truly has been outstanding in her presence, care giving, explaining everything to us in a way we all understand. Making sure our daughter has the best care and we trust her whole heartedly . My girl would not be the girl she is today without her. Unfortunately, having burnt my fingers and subsequently acquired an infection, I rang the Centre at 10.00. am and asked for an urgent appointment to see a general practitioner. The receptionist offered me two appointments, one at 11.40 am and one at 1.00 pm. I took the earlier appointment and was seen within 10 minutes by Dr Porter. She was very efficient, warm and understanding. I was prescribed medication, which was supplied by the clinic's pharmacy and back in my office by midday. Excellent service, and I thoroughly recommend Centennial

I visited Dr. Omar at Lewisham Hospital’s UTC and Dr. Omar asked how I was and made sure I felt comfortable. Dr. Omar helped me by immediately diagnosis the issue in my right ear which was an ear infection causing hearing loss.
