Early January 2024, I was diagnosed with Squamous carcinoma in my neck and I had gone through a radiotherapy / chemotherapy treatment and recovered well by mid 2024. A year and a few months later, I discovered something in my upper left jaw and with biopsy, it’s confirmed to be cancer again. I searched for a Maxillofacial surgeon and several of my friends and doctors recommended Dr. Mustansir Alibhai as one of the best in this area. I went to see him and from day one I saw how he is kind and taking good care of his patients. Within a week, he did all required scans and tests and booked the surgery. The surgery was so complicated because of my previous radiotherapy treatment. The surgery took about 14 hours, almost double the normal time, and Dr. Alibhai along with his team had to deal with several complications during the surgery. He dealt with these complications in a very professional way as I heard from his colleagues after the surgery. I think that Allah gave me a new opportunity in this day to come back to life through the help of Dr. Alibhai. After the surgery, I saw a caring person who was taking care of all the details along with his team. I spent 6 days at intensive care and then another 5 days at a normal room. During this period, Dr. Alibhai and his team took very good care of me. The results of the surgery were superb. The pathology report mentioned the success of the surgery in fully removing the tumor with a very good margin. Therefore, my oncologist along with Dr. Alibhai and the team decided that there is no need for further radiotherapy treatment, given the fact that I already had radiotherapy before. The recovery process is a little long because of the sophisticated surgery in my mouth and my leg. I can’t tell you enough about how careful and kind Dr. Alibhai is in following up with me and managing the recovery process in the best possible way to make sure that I return to my normal situation and normal life in due time. He is a real human before being a doctor and this is what makes the difference. I highly recommend Dr. Alibhai for similar cases and I am quite sure he will do a great job. I wish him all the best in his career and his life.

I had been experiencing some knee pain so contacted after seeing an advertisement in the gym and lady on the phone recommended how I could have a 15 minute free consultation. Dan contacted the following day and after giving a couple of possibilities of what he said it sounded like suggested a face to face appointment. This was then scheduled for the following week. From the assessment Dan could pin point what was wrong and set me up with some exercises to try and see if it helped. He gave me advise of continuing to do the activities I enjoyed but if the pain level got to 5 or above to reduce or stop. From the exercises and advise that Dan gave me my knee pain declined then completely went. I had my next appointment 3 weeks later and received some more advice on exercises to try to prevent future injuries.

My whole experience was reassuringly trouble-free. I was treated with the utmost kindness and professionalism from Mr Gleeson, my surgeon through the nursing staff technical staff and physio therapists, the reception and ancillary staff. My last appointment was for the annual review. I won’t deny that the first six months were painful but continuing with the prescribed exercises meant that at the end I am completely and absolutely pain free.

Dr Ling was excellent from start to finish. She quickly recognised what the problem was and the options available. After an initial consultation I had two operations to remove epidermal cysts. Everything was explained and they were successfully removed in around half an hour. They were painless procedures, followed up a couple of weeks later by removing the stitches. I would highly recommend Dr Ling if you have dermatological issues.

Overall I found my experience to be generally very good with all staff who I came in contact with to.be caring and helpful. The only blot on the landscape was a rather abrupt humourless lady from.the sub - continent that I had dealings with just before my procedure. This was the only blemish, hence my score of 4/5 earlier in the questionnaire.
