Dr. Ethan is a truly lovely man who genuinely listens to his patients — and that means a lot. He has helped me so much with my arthritis and chronic fatigue. After being bed-bound for almost four years, I’ve now been working with him for about a year and I can finally get out, enjoy life, and spend time with my family again. What stands out most is how caring and heartfelt he is. You always feel safe talking to him because he really gets to your level — as he often says, he’s a patient himself, so he understands how important it is to feel heard. He’s wonderfully direct, which I appreciate, because you know he’s looking out for your best interests. Yes, I was surprised by the fees at first, but the service is so personal and attentive that it’s absolutely worth it. He treats every patient as important, and I completely trust him. I’m not a particularly sentimental person, but he’s genuinely special — and super funny too! After a year of steady progress, I can honestly say working with Dr. Ethan has been one of the best decisions I’ve made!

I was scheduled for a laparoscopic bilateral cystectomy. My disappointment stems from a critical failure in communication immediately prior to surgery.Minutes before the procedure, and while already prepped, I was informed by an unfamiliar doctor—not my primary gynecologist —that a bilateral salpingectomy (fallopian tube removal) was being added to the plan. This major change, involving the removal of a reproductive organ, was sprung on me at the most vulnerable moment, leaving absolutely no time to process this significant loss or ensure fully informed consent. It felt as though my fallopian tubes were taken without my proper agreement. A change in procedure of this magnitude must be communicated well in advance, not moments before surgery.

I came to Rahul with a knee injury I'd sustained on a skiing trip in March. He was able to see the seriousness of it immediately & quickly ordered an MRI. Following diagnosis of a torn ACL & PLC he planned in the required surgery. In the run up to and on the day of surgery he kept me up-to-date with what was going to be done & worked closely with my physio. The rebuilding work he carried out on the ligaments has been very successful - months on the knee is incredibly stable with no pain, no swelling & full range of motion. I can't thank Rahul enough for his work. He's a true expert in his field & his enthusiasm for his work shines through.

I was called into his room by the nurse. He entered from the adjacent room and greeted me with a smile. He asked me how I was feeling after knee replacement which was two months after the surgery. He looked at the operated knee and told me to move it straight as much as I can. And than the other knee. He was very happy with the movement and was happy as I had done all the exercises regularly. He was happy to discharge me . He told me I will be contacted by a nurse in six months. He shook my hand and smiling I left the room. In his presence I was very comfortable. Very caring and professional.

I met Dr Jiang earlier this year having been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. In our first meeting she took almost an hour to discuss and explain my cancer diagnosis and possible treatments . She took the time to answer all my questions and explained everything thoroughly. I was put at ease immediately and she consistently followed up with me after tests and during and after my treatment. She is compassionate, attentive and methodical and explained everything in simple terms . Brilliant is not too strong a word I would use to describe Dr Jiang

Overall my first appointment at Spire Lea hospital was a satisfactory experience. At the reception I was quickly registered as an insurance patient. The waiting time was not very long. The duration of the appointment was long enough to cover all my questions, explain my problem and get a gynaecology examination by the doctor with help of a female assistant. The doctor explained to me a treatment to follow to alleviate my symptoms.

Visited Newmedica for Cataract assessment, surprised of great serviced provided compared to NHS hospitals in general. Clean premises, refreshments available for all patients even family members. Staff members were very nice and welcoming. Doctor was brilliant explained in depth about cataract and my next procedure, which put me at ease. Highly recommended.
