it's the Grosvenor Cleveland First experience Anweek today Monday i went for a blood test and Ultrasound both appointments were on time. The next day i had an appointment by phone some sort of registration ( by the way this was the 10!th registration ) Our life doesn't revolve over your hospital so many registrations what for and you still got it wrong it's frustrating and monotonous.) I would try and find an easier way for patients . let's go back to the phone registration the gentlemen tells me i have to do a blood test and a swap, i told him i was there yesterday and i did a blood test he told me that i have to go back as they forgot to do another blood test and the swap. Forgot i found that very unprofessional so on Wednesday i went back when the nurse took me she took me to the room did the blood test and another nurse came for then swap i was told i need to go and do and ECG a test that i wasn't aware of i became stressed and furious i turned to the poor nurse and said to her i am not doing an ECG and to cancel it. i found the whole situation unprofessional. Thursday arriving to the hospital' early in the morning' once again registration and then a Porter came and took' us to the room. a few minutes later the nurse came and of course another registeatiôn Room nice but no cupboard to hang your coat. it rains a lot in England we wear coats .My surgeon came and explained the procedure and few minutes after he left went down for the operation all well to this point Eventually i was up and nurses came to check all was well Food Menu is very unhealthy no salad no fruit juices i would suggest you get a dietician it's shameful your Menu I was discharged by Professor Hakim at around 3:30' the nurse went to get the discharge letter and told me that i have an MRI at five i told her to cancel it no need for MRI after the operation When i came to leave nobody told me what i had to do was given some plasters and i asked if i could have a shower n was told not today tomorrow i went to the desk on my way out to query an extra bill i wanted to know what it was for and he couldn't tell me i said where is your account department and he said we don't have one on the premises this huge hospital doesn't have an account department in short when i know what its for i will not pay even'. on my chart why Good luck you have a very nice hospital but very stressing and there is a lot of' things you have to work don't think it will be my first choice

I recently had a full right hip replacement. It is the first time I have undergone surgery so was obviously slightly apprehensive. From the initial meeting with Mr Jafri everything was explained comprehensively and my concerns were listened to and answered in a manner that left me feeling more confident. The pre surgery admissions team were all friendly and efficient and went out of their way to make me comfortable and took my fear of needles into account. The surgery team were very friendly ,supportive and professional. The operation went smoothly and the aftercare was excellent, from pain management to food and chat. The pain after surgery was a lot less than I had been experiencing with my arthritic hip so I was delighted. The same level of care was extended through recovery and physio and 8 weeks later I'm mobile and moving comfortably. Cannot fault the whole experience from start to finish.

Right hip replacement I was in a lot of pain before the surgery after meeting Mr Shankar Thiagarajah with his professional, open and friendly manor, he fully explained the procedure and put my mind at ease. Being a nervous person, I won’t lie I was petrified , but the whole process from initial consultation through to operation and recovery was without a doubt down to his experience and supporting team.. I had my surgery at the MEOC centre in Mexborough, a purpose built facility and specialist orthopaedic centre. His support team were excellent, a credit to Mr Thiagarajah. After 8 weeks, my life has returned back to normal, without pain and that is with my 10,000 steps daily ritual.

I was visiting to discuss long term cough for which I have recently been taking Omeprazole for which I tried for a month but after stopping the medication the cough came back so my doctor referred me for tests. The doctor asked about my symptoms and discussed likely causes and told my about the camera test they could do to try and understand if there was any serious underlying problem. We discussed what might happen in the unlikely event that some sort of surgery might be necessary but also that staying on the medication would be the best solution if that has worked and no the results of the test show no serious problems. It was a very informative conversation

Dr Mishra is an excellent doctor and top professional. I am a doctor myself and i was really impressed with his professionalism and his kindness. I was the last appointment in what it looked a very busy day. He greeted me with a real smile. He patiently, listened to my problem, he examined me and reviewed my investigations. He explained to me the treatment options and he involved me in the decision making. He was extremely helpful , kind and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!

Couldn't praise Mr Tang anymore. From the moment I met him, kind, knowledgeable, calm, and I felt at ease even though I ripped my bicep less than a day before meeting him and was in a serious amount of pain. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer, and the surgery was as painless as it could have been. He did say he has never seen a bicep recover so quickly, which I am very proud of; however, I think that was more him than me. Thank you again.

Dr. Khan operated my knee. It was a difficult procedure as it involved a multi ligament injury and a meniscus tear. 16 months post operation I went back to play football. Mr. Kahn is very supportive and provides planned follow ups to keep track of progress. In my last visit Mr. Kahn decided to see me again in 6 months to assess the overall recovery and decide whether or not take further action as there are still some minor issues with the knee.

Was a little confused and concerned with all the last minute changes for surgery, then to be told and left waiting in a room for surgery to then say ur appointment was not the appointment time when u came in on our computer so they did change my appointment time! Other than that surgeon was fantastic brilliant and friendly After Care - as given a bag of meds and a latter and cards for the doctor with no sore dressings for wound area.

The whole process was very straightforward and her bookings clerk was super efficient.
