I recently saw Mr. Karuppaiah for surgery on my right hand due to severe Dupuytren's disease. It was a private appoint & I paid for the ILR device. That was fine but I have been disappointed with the follow up since which seems to provide no reassurance that the ILR results are being looked at / reviewed so it is a case of assuming "no news is good news". In my view this is poor, if not unsatisfactory and it seems to me an initial 3 month review email followed by half yearly emails would be welcomed by patients. Also issue of contact phone numbers would be helpful e.g. technical. episode queries

We highly recommend Dr Alibhai, he is a total pro at what he does. Both my sons had oral surgery with him about 1 a year apart. They both had all four wisdom teeth removed at once and had a positive experience. Dr Alibhai is very responsive and prompt, he is also available for after care if needed. For both my sons the pain and swelling was manageable. Dr Alibhai is a high quality surgeon, you can't do anything wrong with him.

It was great to be able to see Mr Steven Lau at the Spencer, although a great shame that the NHS does not recognise crossover between private and public services. I had paid £250 to see Mr Lau for the same consultation as I had on 7th January, meaning that I am no further along the path of accessing the treatment I’ve waited 21 months for. I am grateful, however, that I’m accessing private services via the NHS

Not only was the level of care excellent, but I got to see all the same staff most visits. An efficient and friendly team.
