Mr Basu is an excellent surgeon and a really wonderful man. He has carried out two recent surgical procedures on both my wife and I. My wife was for the removal of her gall bladder and mine was for a complicated inguinal hernia. We are both in our mid 70's On both occasions Mr Basu was wonderful, on our first meeting he explained the procedure to us in plain language that we could understand, he put us at ease and gave us total confidence in the procedure that he would carry out. On the day of the procedure he came and met us in the private room and he again discussed what he was going to do and why. He allayed all our fears and was so friendly and empathetic and put us totally at ease. Both procedures went perfectly with excellent results and when we met him for our follow up appointments he was so caring and friendly. Mr Basu is wonderful and a wonderful and caring man. Thank you Mr Basu.

I have not had a very positive experience at all and feel that the diagnosis is not accurate and the reasons given and report are not satisfactory - despite the report saying what i said word for word the analysis is simply not effective and does not align with my symptoms - there was no point having a consultation of the doctor only went off the forms and did not correlate information - also there was no understanding of why i thought i was adhd - i have done extensive research in this field and it would have been better to have an adhd checklist than the autism on

I had a very large ovarian cyst. At my first pre-op appointment, Ms Lou talked me through the scan. Putting my nerves to rest, explaining the procedure. We knew, I was in good hands. On the day of my operation, miss Lou spoke to me before and after. I am so grateful of the care I received throughout and to have a lovely chat, on the phone, three weeks after my operation with Ms Ying Yiing Lou to see how I was doing was a great comfort. Excellent visit everything was explained clearly- Mr Dehne was happy to talk through my treatment I was very grateful for the care and attention that he gave me during and after my hip operation. I travelled quite a long way to Birmingham to have my operation and would just say that being discharged on the following day as the operation was slightly uncomfortable due to the long distance from the hospital.

She was warm, positive, respectful and dealt with my needs very professionally. I was re- assured with the positive measures organised. The blood work was excellently completed. ICU I was treated like an animal left under the cold AC in a cramped room, the ICU nurse was on her phone taking ages to come to help when you press the call bell. The nurse team is the worst I’ve experienced in my life I genuinely thought I was going to die in this hospital they don’t respect you ethically unsafe and keep you in prolonged pain for days
