Dr Nish Shah cared for me throughout my pregnancy from 22 weeks onwards, after I was admitted to hospital with a complication (PPROM). This was one of the most difficult times in my life, as we had to make some extremely hard decisions in a very short space of time in order to achieve the best possible outcome for both me and our baby. Sadly, I went into labour shortly after 22 weeks, and Dr Shah was there to deliver my baby and to manually remove the placenta in theatre. Throughout this incredibly unexpected and traumatic experience, I felt exceptionally well cared for. My recovery has been excellent — the bleeding stopped after just four days and I felt almost back to normal within two weeks. Dr Shah remained calm and provided clear, compassionate and excellent medical advice throughout a very challenging time for us. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will certainly be under his care again for my next pregnancy. Thank you.

I had penis filler and it was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I had the filler on the Monday and by Wednesday I was in a&e with a very balloon swollen penis and had to have catheter inserted in my penis for 5 days. I was then rushed for emergency surgery the next morning to remove the filler and infection at the injection site. I was in hospital and 5 days and I’m now under a nhs urologist because the urologist at Moorgate cancelled the video call because he said it was unwell. Once they have your money your on your own and the chances of compilations are a lot higher than what they claim. The office I had my filler was not sterilised and moor like someone’s living room. Once if fully recovered I find out if it’s caused and permanent damage I will be looking to start a medical neglect claim against Moorgate. PLEASE if your thinking about having this done seriously I would re consider. Just use an extender/pump.

The team at One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I had a clean, tidy private room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The two ladies who handled my general anaesthetic were excellent and really helped put me at ease as I was quite nervous. Post surgery, the physio who showed me how to use my crutches and explained my recovery was lovely. My only criticism was the inconsistency around my sick note - my surgeon signed me off for 6 weeks, but a nurse was unhelpful and stated they only do 4 weeks and that I would need to see my GP to extend it! This felt unnecessary given this was my agreed recovery time. My surgeon did step in to resolve this. I did appreciate the follow up call a week after surgery to check how I was doing, which was a nice touch overall.

From the very first appointment, he has always listened carefully, taken my symptoms seriously, and treated me with kindness and respect. Managing long-term and complex health issues can be overwhelming, but having a consultant who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my care has made an enormous difference. Dr Charlotte Frise is an excellent doctor. Despite the multiple complications I had, she had time for me even when she was off duty. She saw me through until I sailed through. I was never afraid at any point even when I couldn’t breathe and had oxygen of 80% on room air, I was motivated. Her smile was always soothing and reassuring, it felt like family. She treats patients like family and it’s heartwarming in difficult times. I begin to tear up when I express how I feel about the care she gave me. Am very impressed and grateful for her services. The NHS is blessed to have doctors like her.

Mr. Hove is no doubt an incredibly experienced and very skillful eye surgeon. His impressive CV is testament to that! In a phone conversation a week before my surgery he explained the procedure, the IOL options and answered my many questions very patiently. His calm and caring manner put me at ease and filled me with great confidence. On the day of my procedure he carried out my surgery efficiently with great care in a very calm and well organized operating theatre. If I ever need to have eye surgery again, I would hope it would be with Mr. Hove!

This was a streamlined procedure which was informative and accommodating at every point. The admitting process was thorough and welcoming. The surgical team under Mr Ieong were professional, friendly and reassuring. The surgery alleviated the chronic pain I had been suffering and this was evident even in the recovery room! I find Mr Ieong accurately knowledgeable and very personable. I would recommend him for any foot and ankle diagnosis and treatment. He has a wealth of experience to support this comment.

Different time slots and sessions or more flexibility. Clearer communication between services and funders. Digital timetable, links and resources could benefit from being clearer/more easy to find. Mixed bag of staff, although the weaker ones did go quite quickly it still felt as though I was a bit of a guinea pig and didn't get as much from those sessions. Core team very caring, compassionate and supportive. Environment is an downside, a shared office building is not the best setting.

The 12-month or so wait time was out of Ravi’s hands and in fact the timing of the procedure worked well for me in the end due to it being right before the Christmas holidays. Everyone at Spire Wellesley was fab, even if my discharge at the end of the day took longer than expected it wasn’t a problem and I was really pleased with all the care and professionalism provided by everyone.
