This what we wrote to Dr. Mahomed. Dear Dr. Mahomed, We wanted to thank you for the excellent service you provided us, and in particular, our son Noah, yesterday. We feel that you took extra time and attention to make Noah feel at home, mentioning your son and showing him pictures, particularly when you realised that he was upset by the fact that he was going to have to give blood. As a result of your actions, Noah was a lot calmer than he had been when he got to have the procedure undertaken. The professionalism of the staff also helped, but we thought that you created the correct atmosphere for Noah to move forward. Noah did very well during the two procedures that he had. He was given a Teddy bear and a large sticker for his bravery. Your son sounds very interesting and a lot like our son, who has asked if he could meet your son at some point. Thank you for your letter, and hopefully you shall not have to call us to say there are further tests required.

She was fantastic with him—explaining everything in a way he could understand and making him feel comfortable and involved in his own health. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing we are both building a foundation for better posture and long-term wellness.

The King Edward V11 hospital is the best of the best in London. The cleanliness, kindness, fabulously trained and knowledgeable professionals in each and every department are second to none. I’ve been visiting this hospital for more than 45 years, and always had a most positive experience. From the Porters and Reception team to their Consultants and Physiotherapists, they are impossible to fault. On my most recent visit, I visited the imaging department, and was scanned by the amazing Dr Clare Allen, and her team. She was the personification of professionalism, yet also one of the most empathetic Consultants I have ever come across. I can’t recommend her or her team, more highly.

I was visiting to discuss long term cough for which I have recently been taking Omeprazole for which I tried for a month but after stopping the medication the cough came back so my doctor referred me for tests. The doctor asked about my symptoms and discussed likely causes and told my about the camera test they could do to try and understand if there was any serious underlying problem. We discussed what might happen in the unlikely event that some sort of surgery might be necessary but also that staying on the medication would be the best solution if that has worked and no the results of the test show no serious problems. It was a very informative conversation

Mr Omar Mulla

Dr Mulla listened... fortunately he is up to date on my particular, rather ambiguous, condition. I get the impression that he keeps up to date with latest developments and findings in his field of ENT. If only I had been able to see him 18 months ago, I would have been sorted in just one consultation. He is very personable, professional, friendly and efficent (by that I mean he dictated his letter to my GP in front of me before I left my appointment). This was a moment when you feel the NHS is at its best.

Asked all questions (clearly from script/list of qs), even when already discussed and known as irrelevant, or already covered the answer. Exercises provided in technical terms only, hard for lay person to remember and understand. Zero follow up even though it was promised.

This probably wasn't his fault as he was most likely given the wrong information!
