The team at Newmedica from the receptionists to the optometrists, nurses and Mr Anjari my consultant were so welcoming and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. I was quite anxious about having cataract surgery, but the team made me feel relaxed each time I visited. Mr Anjari was very reassuring and spent time helping me decide which lenses were right for me. The surgery was quick, and painless - so efficient., I had no need to worry about going back for the second one. The aftercare was excellent too with a phone check up and another thorough appointment. Mr Anjari helped me choose Galaxy lenses … I can’t believe how clearly I can see near and far ! It is nothing short of miraculous after living in a blur for years! I am now able to read the smallest print yet look across a field and identify birds in the trees. I’ll be forever thankful to Mr Anjari and his team for the transformation of my sight.

After months of waiting on the NHS I went to see Mr Bailey. After my initial consultation I felt such relief as not only was there a clear plan of what we were going to do, but relief came from being actively listened to about my injury and my concerns. Ultimately we made the decision that keyhole surgery for my medial meniscal tear was the best option. The daily pain I was in, I often described as a persistent dull ache but it was gone almost immediately after surgery. Since the surgery I have felt like a new person. Mr Bailey remembered a comment I made about my concerns on looking after my young children with the lack of mobility. I was pleased not only to get my full motion back thanks to his skill but found him so personable with the fact that he remembered this comment several months later at my final consultation. My experiences of PMDD and perimenopause were taken seriously, without minimising or rushing, and I felt fully supported in making decisions about my care. Since the appointment, I genuinely cannot believe the difference I feel within myself. The impact on my wellbeing has been significant, both emotionally and physically, and for the first time in a long while I feel hopeful and grounded in my body again. De Holden has done more than she knows. She has been the first doctor that has listened to me and made me not only feel heard but also like I’m a whole person not a group of symptoms and issues with no end in sight. Dr Holden has a lovely manner about her and actually cares about her patients. The whole process was simple and the best decision I have made. I now need to work on a more in depth action plan to more forward with but know I can go back and get help to more forward if needed. This appointment helped me more than any medication could. It gave me my sense of self and not like I was making it all up. I wholly 100% recommend Dr Holden if you are struggling with joint pain because she cares and that is unfortunate rare today

I recently visited Fitzrovia Hospital and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The facility is clean, well organised, and welcoming, but what truly stood out was the care of all staff, friendly, supportive and specifically the exceptional care provided by Kate. Kate was warm attentive, and incredibly professional throughout my visits. She took time to care for me and explain all things clearly, was patient and I felt hugely comfortable and supported. Her kindness and calm approach made a huge difference, and I genuinely felt in safe hands. A professional surgical process and experience with timely post op follow up with due care and attention by each and every staff member. Highly recommend.

Extremely impressive level of care. My husband arrived for a scheduled appointment with our two daughters. The little one did not have an appointment, but had felt unwell during the night. The staff were able to see her and treat her immediately. She would otherwise have had a very difficult time of it, and we were incredibly grateful for their care and attention. Amazing staff (Daniela, Semi) and doctors!!! Doctor Liong Mee Hi was wonderful with our daughter, prescribing the right mix of things to help get her back on track immediately. Very impressive!

This was my first experience of the Hillsborough Private Clinic and the staff were very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. While this is an older style building is was well set out and immaculately clean and while I appreciate that space is at a premium a groundlevel toilet facility would be an asset as while I have no mobility issues I can see where climbing stairs to the bathroom could be an issue for some.
