I was at St Josephs for a repair to the rotator cuff of my right shoulder. Admission was at 11:00 hrs and I was shown to a private room with ensuite bathroom, bed, easy chair and TV with Internet and Sky access. A nurse took a set of observations and both the surgeon and anaesthetist came in to discuss my surgery and confirm my consent. At 12:00 I walked in gown and slippers to the operating theatre and once on the operating table I was connected to various monitors. A pre med drug was injected via a canula on the back of my right hand. At 13:00hrs I woke up in the recovery room with the operation complete. After a short while my bed was wheeled back to my room. Further sets of observations were taken and later I was given my choice of post op snack and coffee. A physio came to see me and gave me a sheet of recommended exercises. At 19:00 my daughter arrived to take me home. I was happy with all aspects of the day.

His encouragement and attention to detail have made a noticeable difference in my recovery and my confidence. During one of my session, Lee even took me to the gym and guided me through three leg machines, explaining how this next stage will help me progress. His support and reassurance that I’ll start seeing big improvements mean a lot to me. I truly appreciate the time, patience, and expertise he brings to every session. I feel well supported and motivated, and I am very grateful for the high-quality care he provides. I am very much looking forward to continuing my recovery with Lee.

GENERALLY ALL OK. NOT HAPPY THAT WAS NOT WOKEN UP TO GET MY HOT BREAKFAST SO HAD IT COLD. NURSE DID NOT WRAP THE ICE CUBES PROPERLY SO BED WAS WET. NO ONE AROUND TO TAKE ME TO ENTRANCE WHEN CHECKING OUT. FEMALE PHYSIO AFTER SECOND OP WAS A BIT OFF HAND AND NOT AS HELPFUL AS THE MAN ON THE FIRST KNEE OP. ON FIRST OP HAD TO BE IN AT 7-8 a m. BUT DID NOT HAVE THE OPERATION TILL 3.30 p.m. IN AFTERNOON NO REASON. ONE OR TWO RECEPTIONISTS KEPT ASKING IF MY TREATMENT WAS FREE WHICH I DID NOT LIKE AS THE NHS WAS PAYING. SAME QUESTION NOT ASKED OF INSURANCE PAYERS, WHEN INSURANCE CO. PAYING. NURSE WHO TOOK PINS OUT ON SECOND KNEE OP MADE THE EXPERIENCE VERY PAINFUL AND DID NOT HAVE AN EXCUSE IT WAS AS IF IT WAS MY FAULT FOR FEELING SUCH PAIN. IT WAS NOT THE SAME WITH FIRST OP AT ALL. I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE GLUE KEEPING THEM IN SO HARD TO TAKE OUT, THEN ANOTHER NURSE SAYS IT WAS NOT. VERY CONTRADICTORY. MISS ANDREA A.

I visited the doctor for my child, who was experiencing muscle pain in his chest whenever he got tired during physical training. From the very beginning, the doctor was polite, friendly, and extremely professional. He explained each part of the diagnosis step by step and clearly outlined what he planned to do throughout the treatment. He carefully drilled down into every test to identify the root cause, which gave me a lot of confidence. He was very patient and thorough, making sure everything was clearly understood before moving forward. He also created a safe and comfortable space for parents to ask questions and answered every single question with great patience and clarity. Overall, he is a complete professional who provides confidence and hope. I am extremely satisfied with the exceptional care and support he provided for my child

Dr. Muheden was kind and attentive to my concerns and provided exceptional care during my visits. His attention to detail and genuine concern made all the difference and he ensured I understood every step of my treatment. The entire Pixie and Sera team was extremely professional from scheduling either online or by phone to reception at the clinic. They all ensured I was seen within minutes on my appointment days. Keep up great job! Suggestion - If we could get appointments and at least tests and labs done over the weekends. Maybe half days on Saturdays? It is hard for some of us to come on weekdays hence all my appointments had to be done late in the evenings. If I had an option for Saturday I would've preferred that than late in the evenings. Thank you!

Amazing experience, Dr Seth treated my sports knee condition with complete professionalism and I am now back running ultramarathons. He is one of the best in his field and is extremely knowledgable about biomechanics and looking at the body as a whole system. We also spoke about diet, supplements and lifestyle changes. I would recommend seeing Dr Seth over a traditional knee surgeon/specialist for a more hollistic approach (the knee surgeon I saw prior to Dr Seth did not ask anything about my training, running, footwear or lifestyle factors). I am eternally gratefully and Dr Seth is now my go to sports physician for all injuries!!!!

I recently had surgery at Spire Leicester Hospital. The medical staff were amazing, friendly, informative and they really helped put me at ease throughout my stay. However, the administrative side needs be improved, as it took several weeks of chasing before I finally received my booking confirmation. Additionally, after my large open inguinal hernia operation, I was discharged without being offered a wheelchair and had to walk down from the second floor to leave the hospital, which was difficult so soon after surgery. Overall, excellent clinical care, but room for improvement in administration and patient support on discharge.

Not a good experience for me I’m afraid I was extremely nervous but this was kind of dismissed. The extraction took a very long time and was extremely uncomfortable and I was traumatised and shaking like a leaf. Wasn’t even offered to be able to sit down afterwards or asked if I was okay. I have since had terrible pain and rang the surgery to go back but they told me as the surgeon only comes in once a week which I didn’t know I had to go back to my own dentist which is a drive away. I’m on continual painkillers and Have been up half the night I will not be coming back to this Dentist.

Absolutely brilliant, from the moment i had the pre-op all the staff from the reception right upto and including the surgeon Mr phaltankar are great - they put you at ease the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out and considering I had a full knee replacement I didn’t think I would walking so well even with crutches and after four weeks I didn’t need them the procedure was that good. My thanks to all the staff at highfield hospital and a special thanks to Mr phaltankar who gave me my mobility back.

The staff were absolutely brilliant. So very friendly whilst remaining professional. My appointment was for 11.30 and whilst I accept there is always some waiting time I didn't expect 2 hours. I had another doctor appointment for 2.20 and I was beginning to panic that I would not be ablecto attend. My other complaint,along with several other patients was how very cold the rooms were We were sat in our winter coats and still feeling the cold. Paul, a staff member did eventually turn the heating on/up.
