As a GP, I was very particular about choosing the right obstetrician for my pregnancy and delivery. Continuity of care was something I really valued and wanted to achieve — which can often be difficult within the NHS. From the very first appointment, Dr. S.Chawla stood out for her professionalism, warmth, and calm, reassuring manner. Throughout my pregnancy, she was thorough, approachable, and always took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. She was readily available and responded promptly to any questions I had, which provided great reassurance. She was extremely diligent with the medical care she provided, ensuring every aspect was carefully managed. I particularly appreciated how she provided clear, detailed information I could follow and made sure there were never any loose ends. Five weeks ago, she delivered my baby via C-section, and the experience was outstanding. The procedure went smoothly, and I felt supported and safe at every step — both medically and emotionally. My recovery has been excellent, which I credit in large part to her skill, attentiveness, and continuity of care. As both a doctor and a patient, I would thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. S Chawla. She truly embodies the best of our profession — combining expertise, empathy, diligence, and genuine compassion. I have no hesitation in saying that I would want my second child delivered by her as well.

Dr Kirsten Mackay

Met Dr Mackay last week with worrying symptoms including stiffness, immobility, joint pain and fatigue. Dr Mackay’s caring manner put me totally at ease whilst she sought to hear my circumstances and relevant past history. A confident diagnosis of my symptoms as Polymyalgia was reached and a treatment plan quickly set out in a prescription. An additional issue; a rotator cuff injury in my left shoulder, made all the more painful by the onset of the Polymyalgia was part mitigated by Dr Mackay with an injection into the joint, bringing near instant relief and a reduction in pain. Having started the treatment plan, as correctly predicted my general symptoms are reducing and my overall well being is returning quickly. Can’t thank Dr Mackay enough for her kind, caring, knowledgable and overall professional competence. Very happy to recommend her services to others.

My whole experience from start to finish has been absolutely amazing! All staff have been 100% in their delivery of care and support. I felt safe and looked after. The anaesthetist and theatre staff before both operations were totally dedicated in ensuring I felt at ease at a time when I felt most anxious. All ward nurses and assistants were focussed on delivering the highest standard of care with their patience and nothing being too much trouble. Pantry team kept me well fed with delicious drinks and food and always with a smile. Imaging team were so caring, cheerful and again reassuring and professional. The physio team are incredible, they have encouraged and lead me to where I am now - so very nearly there. I cannot fault my experience at Gatwick Spire. A massive thank you to Mr Panose and all teams involved in my operations and recovery.

My experience of my initial assessment at the Cleveland Clinic was of a professional and very courteous team. My only criticism would be that, as someone who is paying for the treatment and not relying on medical insurance, it would have been very useful to have been given some indication of cost before any decision on the timing of the treatment was required. My original investigation indicated that the procedure would be an outpatient arrangement, but, due to my age and probably also because of the late appointment time, it was recommended that an over-night stay be included. This obviously would increase the price of the whole package but no indication of the cost was given even when I enquired of the financial implications.

As a family our experience of Luxe Psychology Practice has been excellent. Jade developed instant rapport with my daughter who initially needed help for separation anxiety. My daughter really engaged with Jade during her weekly sessions and we were able to apply a number of practical coping strategies that were child friendly. Jade was able to put my daughter at ease and make the sessions both fun and practical whilst teaching emotional regulation strategies. Over the course of my daughter’s sessions Jade has always been professional, supportive and has always made to time to ensure we as parents know exactly how we can best support our child. I would highly recommend Jade and Luxe Psychology Practice.

From the moment she walked into her shift she was there for me. She couldn’t do enough and helped me get through my nerves. Please make sure she sees this review and I hope the manager at Fitzrovia is very proud of the staff there. Mr Fazel was an amazing surgeon who I wish I met 10yrs ago. He is calm, methodical and modest, I would certainly return to him if I want more procedures. The anaesthetist was confident and supplied me with beautiful drugs-what more can a girl want. Recently had vein procedure was disappointed that not all veins were treated .I'd explained i was having procedure because of upcoming flight to australia .I returned for check up to be told I had fleabiteus on area that had been treated. I've decided to postpone more treatment until I get back from australia as I am worried of any more problems before flying. I'm disappointed that what I thought was going to be a straight forward procedure has not been .I wish I hadn't gone ahead with the procedure. Very disappointed

Such a positive experience at MUMS, I attended for a fetal medicine USS after concerns were seen at a private scan elsewhere. All the staff were professional, knowledgable and attentive. The venue was convenient and easy to find with parking. The fetal medicine consultant was extremely thorough and knowledgable. The whole experience was just so positive. I feel so much more reassured and positive now about my pregnancy. Thank you so much! I wouldn’t hesitate to attend this clinic in the future for any service offered.

I saw Gabrielle today for a suspected issue related to planta fasicitis and a pronated foot. Gabrielle was an attentive listener, kind and empathetic. She explained the functions of the muscles and ligaments very clearly so I was able to gauge a full picture of my gait and my overall foot health. I found her friendly, professional, engaged, attentive, positive and both interesting and interested. I'd highly recommend her as a practitioner.
