Following an angiogram that showed a need for heart by-pass surgery, I had a follow up appointment with Mr Javangula at the end of January 2024. At this appointment we talked about my heart history, and he comprehensively explained the need for by-pass surgery. At this stage there was a 3 to 4 month waiting list with the NHS, but because of the severity of my condition I opted for private treatment. I had quadruple heart by-pass surgery on the 14th February 2024 a (a great day to get your heart fixed). I cannot thank Mr Javangula enough for the amazing care I received. He came to see me personally every day following my surgery, including across the weekend. He was incredibly kind and reassuring, always taking the time to explain everything clearly at every stage. His professionalism and kindness made a huge difference at what was a very worrying and stressful time. I would also like to say thank you to the whole team at Nuffield Leeds Hospital. The care I received was outstanding from admission to my discharge. Every member of staff was attentive and compassionate. I would highly recommend Mr Javangula and the team at Nuffield. If you’re looking for a heart surgeon, he’s your man! Thank you so much.

Mr Jaroslaw Krupa

I underwent a complex mastopexy and augmentation with Mr Krupa, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience or my results. From my very first consultation, Mr Krupa was kind, thorough, and incredibly reassuring. He took the time to explain the complexity of my case, set realistic expectations, and answer every question in detail. The level of care I received before, during, and after surgery was outstanding. Mr Krupa and the Nuffield team were professional, compassionate, and attentive throughout the entire process. Especially as I experienced a slight complication with a rash after my dressings were removed, which was dealt with extremely swiftly and put my mind at ease. Given how complex my surgery was, the results have exceeded my expectations — and while still in the early stages (4 weeks post op) they look natural, balanced, and beautifully done. I am extremely grateful for Mr Krupa’s skill, precision, and genuine care. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering breast surgery, especially if your case is more complex and you want to feel completely confident in your surgeon.

The resulting total hip replacement surgery was performed without complication, and my recovery was swift, despite my own frustrations along the way. I am now three months post-surgery and have returned to all normal day-to-day activities, as well as many sporting pursuits, including walking, swimming, and cycling—completely pain-free and with ease. I would have no hesitation in seeking Mr Sturridge’s advice again in the future should it be required, and I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering from hip pain. While no surgery is ever welcomed or entirely risk-free, the skill, care, and attention provided by Mr Sturridge were, I am in no doubt, a major contributing factor to my successful recovery.

I arrived circa 15min before my appointment time as requested and was greeted courteously by the reception staff before being lead to an examination room to undergo a basic check of my eyesight and health check/questionnaire. On retuning to the waiting area I was almost immediately greeted by Mr Bhargava. The consolation was just 5min after the appointment time, which is excellent. The consultation was thorough and very professional, Mr Bhargava has a very good manner and following questioning and examination explained all the parameters relevant to my condition. Mr Bhargava then went on to detail treatment and advice in a concise but detailed way covering all aspects very well. I left feeling that the visit was well worthwhile and that I had been treated well in all aspects of the consolation. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Bhargava to friends and colleagues.

It was OK. Sorry this system doesn't allow me to write why I went there and therefore wastes my time! I was there for a Pre op assessment. My Op is 9 Feb 2026 under Dr Panos Gikas. I asked him if I could attend this clinic as it is nearer where I live. The. appointment was alright. The only issue I had was that when it came to having a blood test, they insisted that I had to have 2 separate ones in each arm? I get blood tests regularly as I have a long term condition. The first one was relatively pain free which was performed by Isabella. The second was performed by Riggs(?) and was unneccessarily painful due to him holding down the needle when it was in my arm. I was not happy about that. I did not understand the reason for the second blood test, when one is usually fine and if more blood is required, then usually another vial is attached as necessary.

When you finally decide to go ahead with the breast reduction surgery that you’ve considered for years, choosing your surgeon is such a big decision & I am so glad I chose Mr Andrew Pieri. From the first phone conversation he made me feel completely at ease, he is professional, warm & genuinely caring. He is super talented at what he does and creates the most amazing results - I cannot recommend him & his team enough. The results at my 2 week check up blew me away. I had seen varying results from other surgeons online so I prepared myself with low expectations but honestly I couldn’t be happier. Perfect shape, nipple size and placement, and very neat scars, some even barely noticeable already. My only regret is not doing it sooner. Truly life changing.

10/10 experience. We had our 10 year old son assessed for ADHD. From the moment i called to enquire about the process and what are the steps involved to the actually assessment, everyone has been amazing. Steven in the front office walked me through the entire process, what to expect, costings etc. he was polite, kind and very professional. Dr Hollie Hearfield who did the assessment was lovely. She was so good with our son, she explained everything to us as to what the next steps are. I cannot recommend you enough to others who might be thinking of going private. All staff, from reception to nurses and surgeons, I found to be friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. I was generally rather nervous about the whole process, this being the very first time I experienced any form of surgery or a stay in hospital. However, I was treated with the utmost respect and understanding and felt well advised at all times, allowing me to make informed decisions at my own pace, without being pressured. I had to wait a bit longer than I had anticipated for surgery but by comparison to the NHS, it was efficient and slick. It is early days to comment properly on my shoulder replacement but things are progressing well although slowly and I am hopeful for the future.

Overall, I had a good experience at the Fitzrovia Suite. The midwives were supportive, kind, and readily available, providing good care following my c section. I was particularly grateful for the overnight support. The team helped look after my baby, ensuring I was able to get much-needed sleep and rest, which was invaluable for my recovery. However, The handover process between midwives during shift changes could be better managed, as there were some gaps in communication between team members. Additionally, the catering was fairly average and quite rigid in terms of meal timings and available options, which could be more flexible.

Dr kemp is a compassionate kind and approachable menopause Doctor she helped me especially with my Neurodiverse links to the issues I’ve had with para menopause and took a lot of time to prescribe the right of license drug to help balance my hormones that seem to be out of whack with ADHD my skin, hair mood and sleep and libido of all improved since her prescription and I can’t thank her enough. I had no idea that some of the symptoms I had were related to per menopause and I had no idea the ADHD and para menopause could be such dynamite 2gether but I now feel this is resolved thanks to Dr Kemp. Can’t recommend her highly enough.
