I had been meaning to pursue a formal diagnosis for some time and, after researching several providers, Montrose Health Group stood out due to their consistently positive reviews, which was very reassuring. I also contacted a few other services, but Sophie from Montrose Health Group responded promptly, which immediately gave me confidence in their approach. When I called to begin my journey, I spoke with Grace, who was exceptional from the outset. She quickly recognised that I was feeling nervous and reassured me throughout the conversation with genuine care and understanding. I found it especially thoughtful that she directed me to her profile on the website so I could familiarise myself with her background and feel more comfortable ahead of our triage session. The triage itself went extremely well — I felt safe, listened to, and respected. Grace handled my case with compassion and professionalism, clearly explained the next steps, and kept me well informed throughout. I truly felt supported at every stage. I was then introduced to Roberta. Although our initial appointment had to be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, this was where the quality of care and service really stood out. Roberta ensured the appointment was rearranged at a time that felt comfortable for me and took the time to reassure me when I shared that I was feeling nervous. During our assessment, I was struck by how well prepared Roberta was. She had clearly read my notes in advance, meaning I didn’t have to repeat myself, and she asked thoughtful, informed questions that helped her gain a deeper understanding of my experiences. For the first time, I truly felt seen and heard. After 37 years of confusion, Roberta helped me make sense of my experiences in a way that was validating and empowering. The report I received was incredibly detailed, personalised, and anything but generic — it genuinely reflected me. It included clear, practical guidance for both work and university. My husband also read the report and was taken aback by how thorough, insightful, and robust it was. 7 I am a true advocate for Grace, Roberta, and Montrose Health Group and would highly recommend their services to anyone considering a neurodevelopmental assessment. It hasn’t even been 24 hours since receiving my report, and I am already actively recommending them to others.

The doctor has been fantastic as always. Im fully satisfied with his consultation. The operation outside the consultation was the challenge for a patient. After the consultation I was instructed to go to the reception and wait. I was waiting in the reception from around 19:15. A few other patients there were all called and gone and I was alone in the reception area when the receptionist finally spotted on me around 19:50, asking me if I was waiting for a consultation. I reminded them that that I had already finished it and waiting for the next step. They found in the system that they needed to make an appointment for ultrasound and injection for me. On the ultrasound and injection date. The appointment was 11:00. I arrived at 10:45 as your hospital request to the patient and started waiting. At 10:55, staff told me that the entrance area of the ultrasound treatment room had an urgent repaired work in progress and asked me to wait for 15 mins. The staff came over again telling me that it would be pushed back to 11:30.. At 11:35, I was finally invited for the ultrasound. All the staff were friendly, very apologetic and sympathetic. I just wanted to share that there was room for the operational improvement. Thank you for your service.

Dr James Gratwicke

I had been experiencing symptoms for more than six months and decided to go private when my NHS referral was postponed a second time. I was nervous beforehand, but Dr Gratwicke was very reassuring. He gave me time to explain my symptoms and listened carefully. He took into account my family medical history and carried out an examination with a chaperone present. I did not feel rushed or that my symptoms were being dismissed. He recommended two scans and clearly explained the purpose of each. His report of my initial consultation came through in less than a week and was detailed and accurate. Once the scans were done, I was able to see Dr Gratwicke soon after to get my results. Again, he explained everything clearly and gave me a good understanding of what was causing my symptoms. The MRI had flagged something else as well, which required me to contact Dr Gratwicke through his admin team after the appointment. He responded to the additional information I sent through the very next day, again putting my mind at rest. Dr Gratwicke is calm, reassuring and extremely efficient in terms of organising referrals and reporting results. I am very grateful to him for his time and expertise.

Dr Farah Rehman

Dr Rehman is exceptional! In this meeting, as in all the others, she demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of the issues and her communication was excellent. She always brought us into the solution by helping us understand her prescription choices and the rationale behind them. Further, she paid attention to what we had to say about the symptoms etc. and importantly, also our state of mind and opinions. This was particularly reassuring. When she couldn’t give us exactly what we requested or suggested, she always helped we understand why and then provide more suitable alternatives. She came up with some treatment suggestions that we weren’t initially keen on but on further reflection, realise those may actually be perfect. In this meeting, as with all the others, she demonstrated, professionalism, knowledge understanding and empathy. And it’s perhaps her empathy and care that have always stood out the most, and given us that needed reassurance throughout the process.

Dr Yiannis Kallis

I had a video consultation with Dr Kallis. In the previous months I had a abdominal ultrasound scan and a CT abdomen and pelvis dual phase scan which appeared to show conflicting results. Dr Kallis explained the purpose and limitations of such scans as the reason for such conflicts, which I found understandable and reassuring. He also outlined the appropriate tests to take to clarify any remaining issues. Dr Kallis was patient and clear in responding to any questions I had. The organisation of the video consultation was very efficiently handled by his Medical Secretary. I would certainly recommend Dr Kallis

I’m so glad I decided to go private and saw Dr Ling. I was suffering with a bad flare up of Eczema which completely took over 50% of my body and tried steroid cream and lots of emollient with no improvements. Once I saw Dr Ling she prescribed me a steroid cream which GP had not tried and immediately after a week I noticed improvement and after a month the rash had cleared. She also referred me for light therapy with NHS which I have already started. She was friendly, helpful and understanding. My experience was 5*. Thank you Dr Tsui chin Ling.

I had a part knee replacement and the staff were really caring and polite . I couldn’t fault them in fact I would trust them 100% and I don’t trust nobody but the staff were truly amazing . A big Thank you to Mr Patel truly amazing gentlemen and the aneasathetist wow I didn’t feel any needles top people. All I can say is I would highly recommend this hospital the service was amazing. The staff that looked after you couldn’t do enough for you . The place was spotless and the best part of it all you were respected as a person

I waited longer than usual for my appointment but Mr Sharma was very apologetic. He examined and more importantly listened to me about my concerns. The follow up letter arrived promptly so action could be taken. He gave me a referral for an appointment to have steroid injection which I obtained within 24 hrs. Sadly the referral letter had a couple of mistakes but these were rectified very quickly. Very impressed with the process and we are all individuals so mistakes can happen.

He did - placed bolts across my SIJ bypassing the previous metalwork. I have had an excellent outcome and he has changed my life !

I received shoulder surgery and was able to be discharged the same day. All of the nursing staff were friendly and informative, the physio treatment and advice was informative. All the staff I came across were very friendly. I especially enjoyed the roast dinner which was hot when served (a new experience). I would highly recommend Mr Khan and the London Independent hospital.
