As a business owner and mum of 2 it is vital that I keep operating as close to my A Game as I can. As a result I have been trying to find both the optimal HRT for me personally - and also the best provider/ clinic I can find. I started with the NHS and my local doctor which quickly didn’t feel bespoke or targeted enough for my hormonal needs or personalised in the approach. I then registered with an online menopause clinic and worked thru them for over a year. The HRT felt much better however it was a logistical challenge. HRT was sent thru the post and took 2 weeks to arrive. If you missed/ had to reschedule an online appointment/ blood test (which with a business and kids happens regularly) it had ramifications so I would find myself running out of HRT with a 2 week stretch ahead of me. This just didn’t work with my job where I am client facing and needing to know that I am feeling grounded, confident and not overwhelmed / severely anxious. Another problem I found was that the online clinic wasn’t conferring with my NHS doctor so my records were not up to date which felt concerning. I have private health and know how close the private doctors work with the NHS so this raised alarm bells to me. It was in one of these periods when I was about to go into a work trip with no HRT that in my desperation I saw an advert for Dr Kemp. I booked an appointment with her and the process felt so personalised and easy. The consultation was surprisingly in depth (much more so than the online clinic). I realised after the consultation the importance of working with a medical professional who can take a holistic view of your health as a female - not just focussing on your hormones. I realised during the call that I was behind on my mammogram - and also have since the call booked myself in for therapy in the advice of Dr Kemp. She asked for a blood test - and prescribed a new variation of HRT with clear instructions on how to use. The prescription was emailed direct to me within a few hours and I could use my local chemist to action it. This felt so liberating being able to pick up within hours as oppose to waiting for a few weeks. Dr Kemp sent me the notes from our conversation with her suggested next step actions - which prompted me to both book the mammogram and therapy. And has checked in a number of times since. She also sent a letter to my NHS doctor and logged both the recommendations and HRT prescription. As a result if I need some urgently and I can’t contact Dr Kemp I can now go direct to my NHS doctor and ask them to prescribe. I feel I have finally found the set up and professional I need to be able to navigate myself through the perimenopause and menopause whilst maintaining the responsibilities I have in my life. I’ve realised how anxious I have been previously not feeling like I have a medical professional and HRT available to me - and I feel so relieved that I’ve been able to find the set up with Dr Kemp. No matter what the menopause continues to bring up/ throw at me I know I can face it head on - with my optimum health and mind set - with the advice of Dr Kemp helping me maintain my emotional and physical strength.

I booked a consultation for my daughter, Olivia P,with Mr Robert Sutcliffe on Monday 24th November 2025 at 2.00pm. With Olivia’s full consent, I handled all communication on her behalf due to her work commitments. Before the appointment, Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary contacted me to ask whether the consultation could be moved to the following week. I explained that we were due to travel abroad for three weeks to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday. She advised she would discuss this with Mr Sutcliffe. She later called back to confirm that, in light of our circumstances, Mr Sutcliffe was happy to keep the original appointment — which he honoured. I accompanied Olivia to her consultation. Mr Sutcliffe was exceptionally thorough. He examined her carefully, explained his diagnosis with clarity and compassion, and put both of us completely at ease as he outlined the next steps. He requested a further liver function blood test, which Olivia had done at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton. I asked Nuffield Health to send the results to both Mr Sutcliffe and Olivia’s GP, which was done. Mr Sutcliffe’s secretary informed me as soon as the results were received and assured me they would be reviewed promptly. True to her word, Mr Sutcliffe reviewed the results quickly. His secretary then advised that he had no concerns and that our planned follow-up in the New Year could go ahead as arranged. I would also like to note that, as we were leaving Harborne Hospital, we happened to see Mr Sutcliffe leaving at the same time. It was clear he had come in specifically to see Olivia that day, knowing we were travelling abroad — something he was under no obligation to do. As a family, we found this gesture incredibly thoughtful and deeply appreciated it. Throughout the entire process, Mr Sutcliffe could not have been more helpful, supportive or empathetic. I am truly grateful that we can now go away on our family celebration holiday with complete peace of mind, knowing my daughter is under the care of such a capable, caring and dedicated professional. Wow, what an amazing place with a holistic approach to recovery. Far from previous experiences that simply provide a detox and a few tools tacked on the end. Delamere provides any willing individual the opportunity to explore yourself and a way of life that can truly bring balance and happiness. The food was excellent, home cooked with minimal processed food, probably only the tofu as the vegetarian option was processed, along with bacon and sausage for breakfast. Chefs were very approachable and friendly, even gained some advice on what to cook at home. The overall environment was clean, tidy and well maintained. The liaison team were excellent and always on hand to support and guide when needed.The nursing team were also superb, always there to answer any medical questions in a compassionate way. The mentors provided clear direction without judgement or bias. My therapist was second to none and created a safe environment for me to discover myself, while always being there to catch me when I stumbled. All in all a life changing experience. I have left with a solid toolset and aftercare package that will steer me through a joyful life with my friends and family. Only negative was the insane temperature in the bedrooms…..bring some cool PJs.

Professor Axford is clearly a highly experienced specialist and provided me with a very comprehensive verbal and physical examination, support and advice. I was really in a great deal of pain and my lifestyle was deteriorating drastically. Arrived at diagnostics centre and was just expecting a consultation with a further appointment for procedure was feel anxious but was made to feel welcomed and reassured by all receptionist was really pleasant as was my nurse Eileen I believe her name to be. I then met Mr Muen who was very polite, reassuring and empathetic. To my surprise my procedure was carried out within this appointment saving me further anxieties, travel and time. I had a follow up appointment for more YAG Laser treatment. Upon entering Cathedral Eye Clinic you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Thereafter I had very detailed tests carried out by a female Optometrist who is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Finally I had further tests and this was followed by the laser treatment by Mr Best who exudes absolute professional brilliance and is very reassuring explaining everything in detail. A truly excellent experience and I can recommend their fantastic care to anyone.
