This is my second knee replacement under Professor Jari at Spire Hospital and I am highly delighted with the result. I had my left knee replaced in 2021 and my right knee replaced in November 2025, both under Professor Jari using the Maco Robotic Surgery technique. I understand Professor Jari has performed many knee replacements using this Maco Robotic Surgery. I have had no issues with healing or infections following my surgery and the recovery is going very well. After just three weeks in recovery I am no longer using crutches for support and my Physio Therapist has signed me off as I have full mobility in my knee. Professor Jari does set a strict exercise programme which in my opinion is the key to full mobility and a quicker recovery time. I would strongly recommend anyone who is thinking of having a Knee replacement to consider the Maco Robotic Surgery under Professor Jari at the Spire Hospital. This surgery is more accurate, less painful and a quicker recovery time. I have friends who have had knee replacements done via a surgeon and they have taken much longer to recover and in some cases suffered issues following their surgery. I can only speak from my own experience but both my knee replacements are perfect. The icing on the cake for me is Professor Jari has managed to straighten both my legs so I am no longer bow legged, perfect! Stephen W

I attended Luiza’s group classes initially and then moved on to 1-to-1 sessions once I was heavily pregnant. She has an incredible ability to modify exercises to suit each person’s individual needs, even within a group setting. Her attention to detail, precision, and ability to make subtle adjustments made a huge difference to my strength and mobility throughout pregnancy. On top of that, she’s a genuinely lovely and caring person, which makes such a difference when you’re navigating pregnancy. It’s easy to see why her classes are always booked weeks in advance. Her physiotherapy background really shows and adds an extra layer of confidence and safety to everything she does.

Having a private consultation with a Black female gynecologist provided a level of reassurance I haven’t found elsewhere; I knew my concerns wouldn't be brushed aside, which has unfortunately been my experience in the past with other doctors. Dr. Natalie took the time to go through my MRI results in detail, even sharing her screen to walk my husband and me through the images—something no doctor had ever done for us before. Her dedication is unmatched; she has been incredibly responsive to all my follow-up questions, even taking the time to reply on Christmas Day! I am so grateful for her expertise and genuine care.

Polly was amazing throughout my entire journey, my original plan with ivf didn't work out but Polly was very helpful with helping me form a new plan with moving forward with my journey. She explained all of my options and what this would mean for me and my donor child. Polly also carried out my egg collection and also my embryo transfer that was successful the second time around. I constantly felt in the loop with my results and Polly always had a back up plan which i really needed when i sometimes felt like giving up, If it wasn't for Polly explaining all of my options i wouldn't have the baby i do now! I cant thank her enough.

I have consulted with Dr Kandan several times since my bypass surgery, and have always found him to be courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in assisting with post surgery symptoms. He took time to listen and discuss various aspects of my cardio recovery, and took on board my comments and concerns, rather than simply issuing another prescription. He did amazing work in liaising with my GP in relation to cholesterol levels and my intolerance to certain statins, and that is now in a much better place thanks to him.

I was very early for the appointment so was encouraged to go to cafe and assured I would be called when they were ready. The receptionist answered our questions with a friendly manner. The nurse was very attentive and explained the procedure whilst preparing the cannular. She even brought blankets as it was chilly in the room. The cardiologist gave time to explain the findings afterwards and advised regarding medication. Excellent service!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in The Westminster Maternity Suite twice, after delivering my babies. The care, cleanliness, privacy, personal space and food are fantastic. I had really enjoyed staying there for the recovery after giving birth. The views of Big Ben both times were an amazing bonus for the night feeds of my newborn.

Overall my recent experience was excellent. I had recently had foot surgery and had a blue post surgery shoe on. A lovely, thoughtful and kind nurse called Theresa brought me a stool and pillow to elevated my foot without me even asking and generally looked after me and made sure all the other patients were ok.

Recently attended HCA Harborne as an inpatient. Every member of staff from the nurses, the caterers and the cleaner was incredibly professional. Nice room which was, as you’d expect, spotless. Nobody wants to be in hospital but HCA make the whole experience a stress free as possible

I was able to get a same day appointment for a bladder and kidney scan. When I arrived I had a helpful and friendly reception. My scan was completed in a relaxed and informative style. I was also give feedback there and then. I can't fault the whole process from start to finish.
