Shalini has been an incredible doctor throughout the last trimester of our pregnancy and birth. She is compassionate, highly knowledgeable, took time getting to know us and our preferences and helped us navigate a variety of different health circumstances. We started seeing her from 28 weeks, and she immediately fast tracked my gestational diabetes diagnosis. Because our baby was breech at the time we also discussed the possibility and upsides/risks of a potential C-section. When baby turned, we decided to have an induction instead to make sure I could deliver her vaginally despite the gestational diabetes which I preferred. The induction went smoothly and Shalini professionally orchestrated the procedure and was supported by the competent midwives of the Fitzrovia. When I felt unwell a few days after being discharged, Shalini was available immediately and helped us get seen quickly to reach a diagnosis. We highly recommend Shalini to anyone who is looking for a personalised birth experience - for us it took away the stress because we knew we had someone looking out for us that we trust! We will always be grateful that she helped deliver our baby girl. Thanks again!

I am at Kingsbridge Hospital for partial knee replacement surgery. Surgical Ward 1 - 28/11/2025. I am writing to express my deepest and sincere thanks for the outstanding care I am receiving during my stay at Kingsbridge Hospital, Ballykelly. The professionalism and kindness I am receiving during my care is outstanding. Sarah, Kerry, Laura & Kim (night staff) from Ward 1 have all been wonderful, nothing was any trouble and I want to thank them for going above and beyond to ensure my well being. Unfortunately, I can’t remember all the names of the staff on ward 1 when I booked in, but again these staff were amazing (Keavsa/luke). I have felt very at ease during my stay and that has come across naturally from you all. You deserve recognition for all your hard work and care you have provided. Please convey my heartfelt thanks to all the staff involved in my care, including the doctors Mr Acton, Dr Brian OG McLary and their team who showed exceptional expertise. Not forgetting the physio. Mr Yamoah has changed my life and I will forever be grateful. For almost ten years my GP told me I had IBS and wouldn’t take my pain seriously. Mr. Yamoah is the first medical professional that has taken me seriously and not made me feel like a nuisance or hypochondriac. The doctor was really rude and unprofessional about other members of staff to me. He also didn't check that I'd received appropriate amount of anaesthetic before doing the procedure leaving me in an unacceptable amount of pain for which he didn't apologise or check to see if I was ok. He also tried to do the procedure on the wrong eye and after checking the eye he could see where I'd had a previous procedure and said, "At least I can see you're not lying". I do not want this awful man near me ever again.

Nikul showed great passion in his subject which gives a great sense of confidence for a patient. I liked the fact that as a surgeon he wants to do clinics which i believe makes him a much more rounded and experienced doctor overall. He naturally gave me a sense that he was going to cover every base and make sure when I left his care everything that had to be done was covered. He struck a nice balance between using words I have no idea about and interpreting those into ones that I can.

Mr Dimitri is very personable and an excellent consultant. I was booked in to have my varicose veins glued, he explained the procedure thoroughly. I was extremely nervous on the day but both he and Carys were patient and kind, they even put my choice of film on the TV to watch during the procedure! After being very self conscious of my unsightly veins they are now nowhere to be seen. Excellent results and I really couldn’t be happier!

Miriam explained things in so much detail and gave me very simple and tailored exercises to do afterwards. Having them emailed to you with short videos is a massive help. I would highly recommend, you won’t regret it.

Only minor downside being the very small car park, which is often full of very large expensive vehicles taking up lots of space, or even multiple spaces. There is free on-street parking nearby (2 hour limit).

A great and kind doctor who made me feel completely at ease. He answered all of my questions and concerns. The appointment was smooth and quick. Blood tests usually take forever for me, but he managed to draw blood quickly and gently, with no bruising. Great service!
