I’ve never liked the NHS GP system. Ten minutes feels rushed and it isn’t suitable for those who want to pro actively look after their health and longevity. I was very early for the appointment so was encouraged to go to cafe and assured I would be called when they were ready. The receptionist answered our questions with a friendly manner. The nurse was very attentive and explained the procedure whilst preparing the cannular. She even brought blankets as it was chilly in the room. The cardiologist gave time to explain the findings afterwards and advised regarding medication. Excellent service!
