From my initial appointment with Mr Hoo, I felt all my questions were answered and felt at ease, from the onset I knew I would choose Mr Hoo as my surgeon. I had done a lot of research for my procedure and felt reassured from my initial appointment. Pauline (Mr Hoo’s nurse) was also very informative and patient regarding any questions which I had. My surgery was booked and due to unforeseen circumstances had to rescheduled, Brenda in appointments was very helpful and offered me a cancellation slot which I was very thankful for. On the day of surgery, I was admitted into the admission pod and here all staff were attentive, I met with the anaesthetist and Mr Hoo and thereafter went to theatre. The theatre nurse and anaesthetist were so lovely, talked me through everything and I felt reassured. Thereafter, in the recovery ward, the nurse was excellent when asked about pain, I was immediately given pain meds which eased the pain and brought upstairs to a room which the excellent care continued. Mr Hoo came to see me and answer any further questions, truly 5* service from the onset. The hospital was spotless and attention to detail by all staff was exceptional.

I have been to see Mr Lee on 3 occasions for surgery now. I could not have been happier with the process. Mr Lee is a very welcoming calm man. Needles to say I was very nervous walking into this situation after having a not great experience with the NHS for my first of 4 surgeries. I was worried about the time frame and how long I was going to be in pain for. Mr Lee assured me that all of my surgeries would be completed by Christmas. He completed all of my surgeries within a 2 months period and before Christmas. I could not be happier with the process and now have found a new lease of life pain free. On Saturday, I attended Canterbury Hospital at 7:30 am for a minor operation on my finger. Two nurses looked after me and prepared me beforehand. Emma went out of her way to help. I had a very good discussion with the test and we decided that general anaesthetic would be the best route. Mr. Smith carried out the operation and I was lucky to see him afterwards when I came round and he said it had been completely successful. Everything seemed very calm, organised and professional. Mr Ferguson got me in on same day for a colonoscopy (I think it is called) He kept going until he had done everthing required. He explained everything to me and made me feel fully at ease. He came to see me after and explained everything. With Mr Ferguson I was in and out the same day. When I had it done at the NHS I was in hospital a week. His Secretary Charlotte is also excellant. The make a good team!!

I had been experiencing problems with my thumb and knees, tried various things including thumb splint. Saw Dr James Thing and must say the experience start to finish was excellent, pinpointed problem areas and carried out scan and targeted areas that were problem and treated, now no longer need splin or pain relief. So much more movement in knees too. Would highly recommend.

Dr David is very professional and extremely knowledgeable on testosterone and men’s health. He offers a personal service face to face service which suits me. I’m so glad I have started treatment with him. I feel safe, well looked after and so much better physically and mentally! Also much cheaper than using the big online companies.
