Sadia Bhatti was my OB in consultant-led pregnancy and post-pregnancy care at the Kensington Wing, Chelsea Hospital. We met her when I was already in the third trimester. She was very professional, explained everything in detail, and even picked up on things that had been missed in my previous check-ups. One of the aspects I appreciated most was her responsiveness. She gave us her personal WhatsApp and always replied quickly, even checking blood test results within the same day, which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. The C-section itself went very smoothly, and I felt I was in safe hands throughout the delivery. That said, I think there are areas where the care could be improved. During pregnancy, I mentioned that I was taking sertraline for depression, but I didn’t feel that my mental health was really integrated into my overall care. I was given a recommendation to a psychology clinic, but it was too far from my home to be practical, and there wasn’t much follow-up beyond that. Later, when I requested a doctor’s letter acknowledging my mental health so I could extend my thesis deadline postpartum, she did not include it. She explained that because it was only a recommendation and not a formal referral, she could not note it. This reliance on a technicality meant I had to go through the retraumatising experience of retelling my medical history to my GP instead of receiving the support I needed at a very vulnerable time. Postnatal care also felt limited. I only had one brief visit after giving birth, and during it she commented on my weight and appearance (“less bloated” and having lost weight). Personally, I felt this was inappropriate, as weight should not be a focus in such a sensitive postpartum period. In summary, Dr. Bhatti is highly professional, detail-oriented, and exceptionally responsive, and I am grateful for the safe and smooth delivery. I am especially thankful that she delivered my healthy baby, and in the end that is what matters most. At the same time, I would encourage more emphasis on mental health support, more flexible and empathetic handling of patient needs, and greater sensitivity in postpartum follow-up care.

I thought that I would drop you a note by way of some feedback. I came to your hospital yesterday for some “pre-med” bits, e.g. blood test, MRSA, ECG, BP, all in preparation for a procedure on my left thumb that is scheduled for 19th Feb with Chis James. I arrived about 15 minutes before the 12.30 appointment to be greeted by the quite delightful Margaret who promised to not to take too much blood!, so far so good, then off to see Aisha for the other bits to include the ECG. What a charming person Aisha was. I have to say that the whole process was quite remarkable, unlike many NHS environments where, its more that probable the appointment would run late, sometimes for very good reason. Certainly not so with your team at Ashford One. Super-efficient, smiley (esp. Margaret) a pleasure to visit, not often said when going to hospital. May I prevail on you to please pass on my grateful thanks to the two of them and of course all the “unseen” members of the team. All a credit to you.

Dr. Shabana was exceptional; I highly recommend her for her compassionate care and clear explanations. She has listened my concerns patiently and examined properly. Also, suggested appropriate test and diagnostic to rule out the actual problem. She has explained me all my reports and conditions and suggest best care options and provided appropriate next steps for the treatment to solve the issue as well as in long term what are the precautions and care i should take. She has also guided me to join the community for the menopause to keep my self up to date with support and treatments. Really thankful to call me out of hours when my few results on the report were concerning. Really appreciate your support and providing appropriate guidance and care.

I had an excellent experience seeing Dr Wamil and would highly recommend her. From the outset, she was extremely thorough and reassuring, taking the time to listen carefully to my symptoms and medical history rather than rushing to conclusions. Dr Wamil explained the possible causes of my symptoms in a clear and balanced way and recommended a cardiac MRI to investigate further. She took the time to explain why this test was important which made me feel fully informed and confident in the decision.

Having been seen by Dr Neil Chapman for some time who has helped me cope with volatile blood pressure (not helped by my autonomic neuropathy), I was a little nervous at meeting his successor, Dr Daneshmend. Nurse Lucy told me not to worry; she was right! Dr Daneshmend is likewise excellent at understanding, and has furnished me with thoughtful, cogent arguments - helpful when facing doctors not so well versed in the peculiarities of my condition. - as to why my treatment is as it is.

We turned to Rachel after 2 failed IVF cycles- lost on where to turn. She was a breath of fresh air after a clinic who explained very little. She reassured us, talked us through options and helped guide us towards a number of additional tests and ultimately a new clinic. Ultimately we were then incredibley lucky to fall pregnant naturally after 2 1/2 years of trying and we are sure the improvements made through testing particularly on my husbands side helped.

Dr Tapesh Pakrashi

Dr Pakrashi is one of several cardiologists I attended and I found him most professional and very clear in his explanations. He is reassuring and goes above and beyond in his patient care. He is outstanding in his competence, professionalism and also diligence in diagnosis. Ultimately also an excellent communicator who give eod his time to ensure any patient concerns subsequently addressed are replied to expeditiously. Highly recommended!

Mr Chatenya Chauhan

A very quick appointment. Actually in and out before my scheduled time. Mr Chauhan has given me reassurance with my wrist. Following on from having the injections I have found a terrific improvement. Some days it’s 90% better. Mr Chauhan said that in some people this is all you need or if it flares up again, to visit my Dr who will then refer me again and it would be the operation. Let’s hope and pray that time is in the distance.

Dental practice aside, which are exemplary, the practice needs some heating it was too cold in there and I must say £5 for the soft bristle tooth brush just because I forgot mine was not necessary at all. I felt a little shoehorned into having to buy that which I did not appreciate.
