I feel very fortunate to have had my chemotherapy and radiotherapy at GenesisCare Cambridge. The standard of care is excellent and everyone at the clinic is friendly and welcoming. While spotlessly clean with fantastic facilities the centre doesn't feel overly clinical. I really like the holistic approach to treatment at GenesisCare and particularly benefited from the exercise medicine clinic which took me from gym phobic to regular gym goer with huge benefits for my physical and emotional wellbeing. GenesisCare go above and beyond to make treatment less arduous, from providing really comprehensive support to prevent or mitigate unpleasant side effects to offering a complimentary taxi service to and from radiotherapy sessions. Another plus of GenesisCare is that the consultations are never rushed - there is always time for questions and I particularly appreciated my consultant taking time to talk me through the treatment options and providing really clear answers to all my questions.

The Joint Injection Clinic

A month ago I had the arthrosamid injection. I had never heard of it and initially I went online to find out how others were treating their oesteoarthritis. I found the Joint Clinic quite quickly and was amazed to read that this injection would last about 3 years rather than 3 months for the NHS cortisol injection. My knee was causing a lot of pain especially when the weather changed. I was unable to walk properly, I couldn't walk up or down stairs. My work involves walking and I really thought I would have to retire because of the pain. From day 2 of the injection, I was beginning to walk without as much pain, about 2 weeks later I wasn't limping or experiencing pain at all. It took about 3 weeks to be able to walk up and down stairs without pain. I no longer need anti inflammatory drugs (that was always hit or miss if they would work). I am very pleased with the outcome at the one month mark and I hope my knee pain is no more for years!

Dr Jannoun has taken his time to understand my issues and also to examine me thoroughly, he took his time in our consultation to go through my worries and concerns but also ran several tests with me to understand my issues. He took on bored my worries and went about and beyond to accommodate. Dr Jannoun referred me for an MRI and I requested another MRI which he was happy to approve as I had concerns about my mid back. Dr Jannoun provided me with options based on my MRI and referred me to specialists and advised me on all the risks regarding procedures. I went for my procedure for an epidural and it is safe to say I was in safe hands. The Dr walked me through the process and was not as bad as I imagined. I am currently on my road to recovery but it is safe to say I wouldn’t have been here without Dr Jannoun.

Efficient and professional experience, I am pain free in a much shorter than expected time! I’m an avid runner and dancer and was worried about my recovery following a foot neuroma removal which Mr Singh was going to conduct. He provided candid advice about attitude to recovery and set realistic expectations (that were very reasonable). I was back to dancing within 3-4 weeks of surgery which was priority #1, running is taking a bit longer (which was expected) but Sam gave me full confidence in follow ups that my recovery was going great and I should be back to running soon. A really positive experience overall and I am so glad I went through with his services.

His courteous manner from the first I met him whilst I was in hospital to my final meeting months later when he discharged me has been a pleasure every time. This gentleman explained everything to me in clear detail even when I was very ill and his follow ups have been less. Dr Kapur was incredibly informative and really gave my daughter a full understanding of the products being prescribed, why they were being prescribed, how they worked, what to avoid and how she should manage her skin regime going forward. We left feeling far more educated on dermatology especially in relation to teenage hormonal skin. The products she advised were inexpensive and the routine she now has to follow far easier to manage. After 2 years of stomach issues and getting no where with the gp, Dr. Ahmad gave me really clear & in depth advice on getting to the route of the problem. I had a gastroscopy which was smooth and practically painless which tested for a wider range of issues than I have tested for in the past. I now feel a lot more informed about the potential causes of my symptoms and confident in next steps to recovery.

Dr Sheeraz was able to assess and confirm the diagnosis of a recently detected issue with my vision. Elsewhere I was informed that the I would require dye in my eye which would impair driving etc for a few hours, however, this was not necessary due to leading technology at Dr Sheeraz’s practice. Dr Sheeraz talked me through the findings and was able to put me at immediate ease. Highly recommended!

I was introduced to Mr Bhan after seeking a second opinion. I travelled for surgery from the north east but had my initial appointment remotely at home prior. From the start, Mr Bhan put me at ease, explaining how he could help. So personable and down to earth. I’m delighted to say the surgery was incredibly successful. It has literally changed my life. I can’t recommend Mr Bhan highly enough.

They also communicate and reach out well with their 'Hear Say' newsletter which contains useful information to support people with hearing loss. They also hold networking events so we can meet and be inspired by others that are also experiencing hearing loss. They have built a constructive supportive community.

Always first class from reception to Doctor.....I have needed to use Daleswood Health due to Local GP Practice and Local Hospitals failure in respecting my needs - which incidently are very minor and things which I shouldn't have to go privately for....having said this, I am always happy to have Daleswood Health available to me. They are brilliant and my saving grace.

Absolutely fantastic. The staff at Lanthon were so friendly and it was a beautiful, calming space. The whole process felt very smooth and each step was clearly explained to me. I also received my results super quickly (just 2 days!) and loved how they came with a detailed report from a doctor, explaining them all in a personalised manner. 10/10 all round!

I was very pleased with the overall experience. Nice comfy chairs and, offered a drink. I was early for the appointment but was dealt with in no time at all, in fact the treatment was over before my appointment time. I’ve had very few floaters.
