Mr Frame has been my breast cancer consultant for the past year. He has the ability to make you feel at ease straight away. He is friendly, compassionate and approachable. He was clear with his explanation of my diagnosis, listened to my concerns, gave me all the information I needed and I felt part of the decision making for my treatment. I felt like a person rather than just a number in the system. He referred me to the genetics department after my cancer diagnosis, where I found out I carried the Bcra2 gene mutation. I have had surgery to remove my cancer and also at a later date had preventative surgery on my other breast. I have had a lumpectomy and SNB. A skin sparing bilateral mastectomy with immediate expandable implant reconstruction, as I choose to go larger. Bilateral implant exchange to silicone implants. I am extremely happy with the results. My new boobs look amazing and feel so natural. I am so pleased he was my breast consultant.

From the outset his persona, knowledge and conviction reassured me of a successful outcome to a surgical solution. As an 80 year old I clearly had some significant concerns. I cannot speak highly enough about the care I received from Mr Srivastava and his team in The John Radcliffe Hospital for the successful repair to the two valves. Post operatively he visited me frequently and also kept my family informed of my progress. His commitment to my case was outstanding. During a recent post operative review he gave me the good news that I would be discharged from his care. I will forever be grateful to him and his team for making it possible to enjoy a good lifeD

I had my first specialist appointment at Harley Street yesterday and I was really impressed. The staff were lovely, the doctor who I saw (Professor Prasanna Sooriakumaran) had a welcoming nature and has helped me already in one visit. I asked for an appointment on Monday and was seen within a couple of days which I am very grateful for (I have a busy work schedule). I am looking forward to my next visit to receive excellent service again. I also wanted to mention that a staff member (lady) on reception was friendly and had a lovely approach. Overall, amazing service and thank you again.

I had a good overall experience at The London Independent Hospital. The staff were professional, kind, and attentive, and everything was generally well-organized. However, my experience in the MRI department could have been better — the staff had difficulty finding a vein for the contrast injection, and after several attempts, I nearly fainted. While I understand that this can sometimes happen, it was quite uncomfortable. Despite this, I was otherwise happy with the care I received and would still recommend the hospital.

Book here for a routine gynaecologist appointment which I was very nervous about. However, my clinician Linda Farahani made me feel incredibly at ease throughout the whole appointment. I’ve seen Mr Atassi several times over the last 10 months due to fall down the stairs. The fall was a traumatic experience. He has an incredibly calming bedside manner, at each appointment he explained the procedures or the stage I was at. He was brilliant.

On arrival at Murryfield you are greated by a friendly receptionist who guides you through the checkin procedure and then on my visit even went as far to get two cups of hot chocolate from the drinks machine while I completed the electronic checking in forms. Waiting area very clean and comfotable temperature unlike some waiting rooms that are devoid of any heating.

I was under the care of Lee David for a total knee replacement, he explained everything well & answered questions I had. I felt reassured & confident with him for my operation. He explained that he may not get my leg straight as it had been for about 15 years … but he got it straight so I was very pleased . The staff were great from nurse, HCA’s & catering staff .

My appointment was at 4.30pm but I arrived at the hospital at 2pm. I was delighted that I was called in to see Mr. Ijaz Ahmad at 2.30pm. He listened to my concerns and was very thorough with my treatment. He also arranged for me to have a hearing test while I was there. Everything done and dusted by 3pm and I was home by 4.30pm. A wonderful experience.

Quickly after this consultation I saw two other specialists and both advised I immediately required cataract surgery, neither could understand why he felt he couldn't provide the service. Previously I would have rated Moorfields among the very best providers of eyecare, but now I feel a little let down.
