Communication is not at all a strong point of RTN diagnostics. I was told, I , as-well as my designated persons had to fill in online questionnaires . It took several communications for the questionnaires to be sent out to them . My brother who was the main person and only relative RTN wanted to fill in my developmental questionnaire never has received any communications whatsoever despite them telling me they had sent it to him several times. One of the problems I faced was that I do not have any living relative or friend who knew me in childhood, apart from my brother, but he is 3 years younger than me, so in light of this I was instructed to fill in my background questionnaire myself , to the best of my ability as he would be less likely to know the answers. I was also requested to send in further evidence including a medical summary report , school reports and my personal symptom observations. I had school reports from juniors through to secondary school so I proceeded to send those in to the requesting email . This turned out to be wrong because when I chased it up they said it should have been sent to different department/email , and it had not been subsequently forwarded to them. I was not informed of the correct email previously. This obviously delayed and wasted time. Finally I was told that RTN had everything they needed to move forward with the assessment. I was told it would take 3 months to get the final appointment with the psychiatrist who would go through my adhd outcome report With me. after three months I had not heard anything so I had to chase RTN to see when I would get an appointment. When I was finally given an appointment it was cancelled the afternoon before by the psychiatrist stating they required my brother to fill in the background form (they had told me to fill in ) he still to this day has not received it. It was frustrating so I put in a formal complaint because I had taken unpaid leave as a carer to be able to attend my appointment which they cancelled last minute giving an excuse that frankly did not stand because they had been informed about my lack of family to fill in my developmental form months beforehand. When I eventually got my appointment the psychiatrist I was allocated was changed again and then I was informed my report had not been written out completely by the assessor and therefore some of the one hour allocated was going to have to taken up by him having to ask some questions that he said he needed to make the assessment. He also said that it would have been easier if he had my school reports. I informed him that I had sent them as requested twice. He had to search online to find them., he basically was unprepared for my adhd review. He read the school reports to me during my appointment. It seemed to me that it was all being done on the fly. One thing I also noticed is that I seemed to be assessed (in my opinion) according to male adhd symptoms/criteria. I donot feel that RTN have managed this whole procedure efficiently nor professionally. They lack good communication cancel appointments last minute and arrive at the final adhd report review unprepared. I feel the whole process has been made unnecessarily stressful. From start to finish it has taken one whole year. I chose RTN diagnostics as part of the nhs right to chose. I would not recommend.

    Dr Sujay Chandran

I wish to formally acknowledge the exceptional standard of care provided by Dr Sujay Chandran during the assessment and management of my 90-year-old mother. From initial contact, Dr Sujay Chandran demonstrated prompt responsiveness, sound clinical judgement, and a proactive approach. He provided clear, appropriate advice at an early stage and actively guided the decision-making process, ensuring that my mother’s safety and wellbeing remained the priority at all times. Recognising the clinical urgency, Dr Sujay Chandran took steps to expedite her assessment, ensuring investigations were performed and reviewed without unnecessary delay. He reviewed the echocardiogram and ECG promptly and conducted a thorough clinical consultation immediately thereafter. His explanation of the findings was clear and precise, and his diagnosis and management plan were well considered and evidence-based. Dr Chandran demonstrated excellent communication skills and engaged in shared decision-making, taking into account my mother’s preferences and her ability to comply with treatment. His recommendations regarding medication optimisation, diuretic therapy, and onward referral were balanced, appropriate, and clearly explained. Notably, Dr Chandran provided ongoing follow-up after the consultation, checking on my mother’s condition and offering clear guidance should her symptoms change. This level of continuity and professional diligence is uncommon and highly reassuring. The consultation was conducted in a formal, focused, and highly professional manner, reflecting the highest clinical standards. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Sujay Chandran as a conscientious, thorough, and dedicated clinician.

I had an incredibly positive experience at Delamere and I’m very grateful for my time there which has been transformative. The programme is extremely well structured and thoughtfully designed - a really well-rounded mix of therapy, group work, education and peer support. The staff are kind, dedicated and create a safe, supportive environment where real change feels possible. I want to give special thanks to Mark, my therapist, and Gary, my mentor. Their honesty and approach made a huge difference to my recovery. I felt seen, challenged in the right ways, and supported to build real clarity and confidence. I made meaningful progress and left feeling stronger, clearer and had regained hope for the future. The only area I feel could be improved is the level of psychiatric support. During my stay, patients were offered one 15-minute appointment with the psychiatrist, which felt brief especially for those with more complex mental health needs. I would have valued more collaboration and communication around medication decisions. Strengthening this aspect of care would make an already excellent programme even better. Overall, I’m extremely thankful for my time at Delamere and would definitely recommend the centre to others seeking recovery support.

It was OK. Sorry this system doesn't allow me to write why I went there and therefore wastes my time! I was there for a Pre op assessment. My Op is 9 Feb 2026 under Dr Panos Gikas. I asked him if I could attend this clinic as it is nearer where I live. The. appointment was alright. The only issue I had was that when it came to having a blood test, they insisted that I had to have 2 separate ones in each arm? I get blood tests regularly as I have a long term condition. The first one was relatively pain free which was performed by Isabella. The second was performed by Riggs(?) and was unneccessarily painful due to him holding down the needle when it was in my arm. I was not happy about that. I did not understand the reason for the second blood test, when one is usually fine and if more blood is required, then usually another vial is attached as necessary.

Mr Dattani has been excellent at every level. I had a shoulder replacement performed by him in London, and the result has been excellent. From the initial consultation through to surgery and follow-up, everything was clearly explained and handled with care and professionalism. The operation went smoothly, pain was well controlled, and my recovery has been better than I expected. My shoulder movement and function are already significantly improved. I would highly recommend Mr Dattani to anyone in London needing shoulder replacement or specialist shoulder surgery.

Always very friendly, attentive, a well-stocked childrens waiting room. On this latest visit we did have a slightly bizzare situation where we arrived, were checked in, weighed and measured, and put into the waiting room. We then received a phonecall - from the next room - explaining that we were late for our appointment. They were very embarrassed and there was no harm at all. Funny though!

I visited Mr Elhassan following a questionable experience with another ENT that insisted I needed surgery. Mr Elhassan immediately put my fears at bay. He checked me thoroughly, reviewed my scans and explained everything in very simple language - including confirmation that surgery was absolutely not needed. He has an excellent bedside manner and makes visits to him very pleasant.

I feel very fortunate to be receiving care from The Royal Marsden at Sutton. Being treated at a specialist hospital focused solely on cancer is a very different experience from other NHS hospitals. All staff are incredibly caring, supportive, and excellent in their roles. Despite the longer journey from Kent, I feel it is absolutely worth it to receive such outstanding care.
