The procedure itself at Shirley Oaks Hospital went smoothly. There was a slight delay to the start time—understandable given it was the first session after the Christmas break—but this was communicated and didn't affect the quality of care. The procedure was efficient and went as well as you could hope for something that's inherently not pleasant. What I particularly appreciated was Arun's approach to communication. He was keen to give me feedback immediately after the procedure, which I valued, and the follow-up has been thorough with clear next steps. Highly recommended for anyone needing colorectal investigation or treatment.

Communication with Kernow Psychiatry has been very responsive and I booked an initial appointment to discuss my mental health difficulties. Dr Reid welcomed me into a comfortable room at the wellness hub, she immediately put me at ease and took care make sure I was settled and ready to start. After the hour, Dr Reid summarised what she saw as the key priorities to getting me back on an even keel, suggesting a clear approach to addressing my intersecting issues. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment and the start of my recovery treatment plan. I only wish I’d followed my instincts sooner and booked in months ago.

I had a online assessment, I was seen by Wioleta Cholewinska. She was really lovely, welcoming and put me at ease. She made me feel comfortable and was understanding and listened very well. The longest waiting part was from filling out the forms to the assessment, but even tho this was a wait, I was expecting it to be a lot longer than it was so that’s great. The actual booking of my assessment was super quick and easy. They sent me a date and time that was for an appointment within 14days of them sending me the appointment details. I’ve heard this can be a lot longer elsewhere so I was surprised about this in a good way.

I had a consultation with Miss Dua regarding reconstructive surgery following breast cancer treatment. Miss Dua explained that she was unable to accept me as a candidate for implant surgery due to me having had radiotherapy on my breast. However, in spite of this, she took extensive time to consult a fellow consultant on the phone, before referring me. She also talked through with me my desired final look, allowing me to have further detailed information regarding implant surgery prior to my consultation with her colleague.

My partner and I came to the Agora for a fertility assessment as we've been trying to conceive for a couple of years. The doctor was kind in explaining our results and gave a clear plan of what they recommend moving forwards. I chose the clinic based on the good reviews and we are so happy that we did. All the staff we have come across have been very nice and answered any questions that we had. We feel comfortable choosing the Agora for IVF even though this is an unknown road ahead, i feel supported.

The hygienist felt as though they were trying to sell additional products and if I hadn’t asked the right questions I’d have been caught out, just like someone who was paying in front of me was. The Saturday receptionist was friendly and helpful The weekday receptionist was a little abrupt and less customer service oriented

My oral hygienist visit with Megan went smooth, there’s always the anxiety of going but as soon as I was there she did all her checks swiftly, cleaned my teeth and advised me on cleaning. Techniques. Megan even helped calm my nerves when asking about my next appointment which a root canal would take place, she assured me everything will be smooth and pain free. She did great!
