When I had my first appointment with Mr Paluzzi - he was the first person who took my Trigeminal Neuralgia seriously - he understood I . he knew how the excruciating pain and the side effects of the meds were negatively impact ing my quality of life I had struggled with excruciating facial pain and shooting electric shock sensations in my cheek, jaw and around my ear for 5 years . I had pain on eating - brushing my hair - touching my face - cleaning my teeth . It could last for as long as 20 minutes and could fire again within 10 minutes . I had a nerve block at my local hospital which gave me some relief for about 2 weeks but thankfully the anaesthetist at City Hospital had contacted the Neuro team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Mr Paluzzi picked up my case I got an appoint ment to see him in his clinic. Mr Paluzzi was able to assure me that something could be done to alleviate my problem .He advised me to have MVD surgery. I had the surgery a couple of weeks later as he predicted it gave me immediate relief. I have my life back - I can do all the things I did before . I initially booked in to see Dr Lafina as I wanted to be more proactive with my health and wellbeing. She provides a fantastic service, where she brings great professionalism, expertise, attention to detail to the individual in front of her, and genuine care. Everything you'd want from someone overlooking your general health. With regards to my own health screening, the whole process was extensive but very smooth and I was quickly provided actionable outcomes. The overall clinic experience was great, the clinic staff were very welcoming and helpful and the clinic space was of high standard. Dr. Muheden was kind and attentive to my concerns and provided exceptional care during my visits. His attention to detail and genuine concern made all the difference and he ensured I understood every step of my treatment. The entire Pixie and Sera team was extremely professional from scheduling either online or by phone to reception at the clinic. They all ensured I was seen within minutes on my appointment days. Keep up great job! Suggestion - If we could get appointments and at least tests and labs done over the weekends. Maybe half days on Saturdays? It is hard for some of us to come on weekdays hence all my appointments had to be done late in the evenings. If I had an option for Saturday I would've preferred that than late in the evenings. Thank you!

Everything like clockwork, all the details and plan broken down and thorough explanation each detail of the of the plan going forward. Ir seems like a cente of excellence This creates a positive feeling of good vibes snd safe hands for a young fella going in for an operation Parking 20 feet from the front door is also a massive bonus for anyone using crutch’s for first time or those with restricted mobility m. My visit to Duchy Hospital for a hip resurfacing was a wondreful experienece and the total care and attention I recieved was first class. Every step of the way was clearly explained and the operation and two day stay on the ward meant that I was ready to go home to recuperate and my progress over the last five weeks means that I can return to a 'normal' life with no pain in my right hip. Mr Norton is an excellent surgeon and his attention to patient welfare is exemplary. I recommend the Ramsay service to anybody thinking about surgery.

I found the admin staff very friendly and helpful in answering my questions, and the two people who assessed me were also very friendly and did their utmost to make me feel comfortable and reassure me. The report is clear and thorough - the only thing is that it took 3-4 weeks longer to arrive than the original estimated time and while I understand that the team is very busy I would have really appreciated a note to say that there would be a delay and roughly how long it might be.
