My experience with Albion Dental has been brilliant from start to finish of my treatment. My dentist Dr Ghadimi is very kind, and is very skilled with the procedures he can perform. I have severe hypodontia and even after extensive work throughout my life I was not quite confident with my teeth, so after some discussion and planning, I decided to pursue new crowns for my top 4 teeth; a big decision for me but it has been well worth it and I have no regrets. The treatment was explained well, and my questions were answered fully and meticulously. The nature of the treatment was more cosmetic compared to previous work I've had done, and a big financial endeavour for me, but there are payment plans available to make it more affordable and accessible. The dental assistants are really lovely and look after you well, and the receptionists are always a ray of sunshine when entering the building; their client care skills are exemplary. Some advice for if you have a complex condition and have had a lot of dental work done before coming to the practice like myself, would be to make sure to let the clinic know as much information as possible, as there was some communication that needed to be had to get on level ground with the team. But this was to be expected for me with my long medical history and the clinic was very open and receptive to my concerns about my teeth, and devised a plan sensitively and effectively to help me feel more confident with my smile, something I've felt self-conscious about since I was little! So I would recommend this clinic to anyone for routine, or more involved treatment, and am grateful for everything they've done for me!

I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Iranthi Meththananda, and I cannot express enough gratitude for her exceptional care. After visiting several private doctors who dismissed my concerns and made me feel like I was being irrational, finding Dr. Meththananda was a breath of fresh air. From the moment I arrived, Dr. Meththananda demonstrated remarkable empathy and understanding. She took the time to listen to my symptoms and concerns, explaining everything in a way that made me feel heard and valued as a patient. Her calm demeanor and genuine interest in my well-being reassured me during what could have been a stressful time. I underwent laparoscopic surgery under her care, and throughout the process, she was incredibly supportive and thorough. Moorfields Private Eye Hospital

Last year I had the cataract in my right eye removed in Moorfields Private Eye Clinic. The consultant, Mr Vincenzo Maurino, was calm, professional and very kind. He immediately put me at ease. I felt strongly I could place complete trust in his care. Everything was explained clearly, and the whole process was handled with such skill and reassurance. A few months ago, when my optician told me that I needed the cataract removed in my left eye, I didn’t have any hesitation and booked an appointment with Mr Maurino at Moorfields. Once again, the care and professionalism were outstanding. Everyone on the staff was so good and helpful. The nurses were very kind, efficient and thoughtful. They even offered tea and biscuits afterwards (perhaps the best biscuits I’ve ever had)! Very soon after the surgery, my vision has improved so much that the world has become clearer. I am very grateful for the wonderful treatment I received.

I have had many consultations funded by both NHS and privately. I have not had a better experience than my appointments with Dr Patel. He was kind, warm, down to earth and engaged. He wanted to know about me as a whole person, not just one medical (heart related) problem. This led to him identifying that I was possibly taking the wrong bladder medication and also possibly suffering from chronic stress. The bladder medication possiblity has proved to be correct and the suggestion of chronic stress, is also, I believe correct and been very helpful to me. He carried out an echocardiogram and explained carefully what he was doing as he did it. His follow up consultation was also clear and reassuring. I would like my husband to see him, and would recommend him to any of my family and friends concerned about their heart health.

I saw my doctor. My doctor is amazing. I had blood tests. The process was OK, but not all tests as expected were reported. I collected medicines from the pharmacy. Their records of my needs were lacking and they refused to resolve the issues. I had to return to the hospital another time and they had corrected themselves and I received what was prescribed. The fee charging system from Imperial is haphazard and I receive charges that are not even incurred. There are no explanations or discussion. My medicine is charged a price 35% higher than a comparable cancer hospital not far away. Imperial needs to be more transparent and fair in their charges.

I arrived early as I had been unsure of the volume of traffic at that time of day. I saw my consultant at the time that I had expected to see her. The consultation was exactly as I would have expected from previous visits...she was kind and polite and every inch a professional. She was clear in her explanations, asked my views on the treatment and answered every question clearly. The procedure required that I remained on site for a while and, when it became necessary, she saw me again to revisit the treatment plan. A totally helpful experience and I have no reservations in recommending both the Nuffield and my consultant to friends and family.

Professor Mike Thomson

Gastroenterologist, Paediatrician

Professor Mike Thomson is a first class Consultant Paediatrician. I consider him an exceptional Paediatric Gastroenterologist. Both myself and my family have full confidence in Prof Thomson as everything has always been explained in a clear, caring and reassuring way. I cannot thank Prof Thomson and his team enough for their swift response, at a time when things were stressful and my grandson was extremely unwell. Prof Thomson even carried out all the necessary investigations under anaesthetic the same night that our child was admitted to hospital. Absolutely first class…. Thank you and we continue to be guided by your expertise.

Car parking can be a problem. There are some local side streets with the odd space or Sainsbury is about a 20 minute walk, think you get about 3 hours. I had my operation on a Saturday and the place seemed very quiet and peaceful, one member of staff said it's more chaotic in the week. Parking was easy at 7.30am on Saturday but I had been dropped off anyway. There are buses that stop nearby from Macclesfield bus station but I haven't tried them. It's lovely to have your own room, particularly if you're a very sensitive person. The staff on the whole treat you with respect.

Dr. Reddy took a very thorough medical history paying a lot of attention to even small details and taking care to clarify with us. He was very friendly and reassuring and we never felt rushed or that our concerns were not being heard. We were given plenty of time to ask questions. Dr. Teddy followed up with a comprehensive clinical report which included recommendations for medication which was forwarded to our local GP for consideration. Would definitely recommend Dr. Reddy as a caring and supportive neurology specialist

Dr. Nambisan demonstrated exceptional compassion, patience, and professionalism. Doctor was able to balance medical expertise with genuine empathy. He took the time to explain every option clearly and respectfully, always ensuring the values and wishes were honoured. The first meeting itself gave the confidence that he'll always be available to answer our questions, no matter how small. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Nambisan to anyone seeking compassionate, thoughtful, and skilled palliative care.

Called at short notice with a concern about my current health. The lady on reception was very very helpful and gave me all the relevant information I required . Such was that information I immediately booked an appointment for 30 mins afterwards. The Dr was very thorough from start to finish took a full blood sample and reassured me that all avenues would be checked and a diagnosis would avail of it .. Money well spent in regards my health and wellbeing thank you all ...

I needed a doctor's statement that I was fit to undertake a sport while on holiday. Alas, my GP refused to offer such a service so I looked for a private GP and found the Deanbrook Practice at the Candover Clinic in Basingstoke willing to help. The doctor reviewed my background and then completed the form. I felt the support offered was thorough and friendly. While I had to pay for this service, I felt it rescued my holiday and so was therefore completely worthwhile.

Mr Leo Cheng

I came in for surgery to remove all four of my wisdom teeth. From start to finish Mr Leo Cheng was absolutely brilliant. He has the best bedside manner, so friendly and reassuring. Really made me feel at ease when I was really nervous and explained everything so well. Just before I went under, I saw him come into the room and it really did make me feel better with his big smile and thumbs up!
