After a consultation and the various tests Professor Persad recommended the Rezum operation for my enlarged benign prostate. He clearly explained the procedure reassured me about what benefits I could expect. The surgery itself was very smooth and efficient and in recovery he was there to brief me on how it had gone. I needed a catheter for two weeks and I did find this more uncomfortable than I had expected, and the two weeks after it was removed weren’t much better, but suddenly after 5 weeks the improvements were almost instantaneous- with a flow rate just like I last experienced as a 20 year old, with no discomfort, as I now am able to completely empty my bladder when I need to. I would have no hesitation in recommending Professor Persad and the Rezum procedure.

Doctor Abd Alazeez made the experience of my diagnosis and subsequent robotic prostatectomy very straightforward and easy to navigate. Regular and very clear communication and focussed throughout on a positive outcome for my subsequent wellbeing.
