Mr Wazait is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals. He is a highly experienced consultant. He is an expert in using LASER treatment for the removal of kidney stones and treatment of benign enlarged
Mr Wazait is trained in all aspects of General Urology and Cancer Diagnostic Urology (primarily Prostate Cancer and Bladder Cancer diagnostics), with a sub-specialist interest in Kidney Stones, Green Light LASER of the Prostate, Interstitial Cystitis and Urinary Tract infections. He performs minimally invasive stone surgery and LASER Prostatectomy as day surgery or overnight stay
Mr Wazait completed his specialist training in the north London hospitals network and spent his period of clinical research at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Whittington Hospital. His final year of training was in the world-renowned Stone Unit at St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals. The Unit was awarded as a Fellowship centre and centre of Excellence by the European Board of Urology
Mr Wazait has been consultant since 2011 and in the full-time direct clinical care of patients, without other distractions. He has moved to London in 2017 having previously worked as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Addenbrooke and Hinchingbrooke hospitals in Cambridgeshire and Lister Hospital in Stevenage. He published in peer-reviewed journals and presented nationally and internationally on different urological topics. He has also taught in various national courses and trained many urologists in training. He lectures at the Brunel University
He has been awarded the title of Faculty Tutor, Institute of Urology and Nephrology in London. He was included in the editions of “Who’s Who” in medicine and Healthcare (USA)
