Matina is very good at giving me ways that reframe my thinking to help get me out of my anxiety funks. Additionally she is very compassionate. Sometimes, therapists can be quite dry l and that makes it difficult to be open about the issues we deal with. I find that her compassionate manner makes me feel ok to be open and honest and not feel foolish for feeling the way I do. Overall I am feeling more equipped at handling anxieties

I started counselling in Oct 2017 and I was at a very low point in life, suffering from severe anxiety. Before we met Ifigeneia, our 2.5-year-old couldn't say a single word, wouldn't engage meaningfully with us, and showed a preference for very repetitive solitary activities. He had just been diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder and I was extremely stressed and worried. After two meetings, I knew we'd be ok. The progress we've seen after just a couple of months is incredible. She didn't just help our son, she helped us be better parents, which has also benefited our 15-month-old.
