Mrs Gabriela van den Hoven is a Psychologist and Psychotherapist offering a wide range of services for people who are troubled with various issues that can be related to emotions, unhelpful patterns, breakdowns or ways of functioning.

She is widely experienced in her field, having worked for several years in the NHS and in private practice. Gabriela uses a modality approach in her therapy and uses a wide range of tools along with her great deal of knowledge and expertise to deal with a variety of complex psychological problems. She has also been a visiting tutor at the Institute of Psychiatry and taught at Salomons University.

Dr Chisholm is highly experienced in assisting people who have faced events such as sexual and physical assaults, accidents, bereavements, domestic violence and traumatic childhoods, as well as with adjustment to life events such as bullying or relationship difficulties. Dr Chisholm can assist with presentations of PTSD, anxiety, low mood, depression, phobias, and adjustment difficulties.  He is also skilled in working with people who have experienced distressing experiences of hearing voices or unusual beliefs, sometimes referred to as  psychosis.

His approach is to use evidence based psychological therapies as recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and EMDR. He works collaboratively and compassionately to assist people in making positive emotional and behavioural changes.

He has previously worked in specialist NHS clinics such as The Traumatic Stress Clinic in London for over fifteen years.  Dr Brock Chisholm is currently Clinical Director of Criterion A Psychology Services. This is a psychology service which specialises in assisting people and organisations who have experienced traumatic events.

Dr Chisholm is The Clinical Lead and elected board member of the UK Psychological Trauma Society, is a recognised expert by the National Crime Agency and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office run Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative. He is a Trustee of Survivors UK, a charity for survivors of sexual assault.  He is HCPC registered, BABCP affiliated and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He has also provided expert witness in several high profile human rights violation cases and litigations.

Initial appointments are for 90 minutes. Additional appointments are for 60 minutes.

Dr. Sarah Whittaker-Howe has substantial experience treating people who have faced stressful life events such as sexual and physical assault, childhood trauma, accidents, serious illness and loss. This can present as posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, phobias, or general feelings of distress and unhappiness.

Her approach is focused on helping clients to understand how their life experiences are impacting on the way they think, feel and behave, and what changes could be make to overcome difficulties and improve quality of life. She relies of evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy.

Dr. Whittaker-Howe previously worked in specialist NHS clinics including The Haven for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. She has also worked at the leading veteran's mental health charity Combat Stress. She now works with Criterion A Psychology Services, which sepcialises in supporting individuals who have experienced traumatic events. She has been instructed on a variety of expert witness reports.

Dr Ingrid Bergson is a Clinical Pain Psychologist, working in private practices at the London Orthopaedic Clinic and London Bridge Hospital. Her areas of clinical interests include pain management, anxiety, bereavement, depression and long-term psychological conditions.

Dr Bergson qualified with her bachelor’s degree from Leeds University, before completing her Doctorate in 2003 from Surrey University. Since qualifying, she has worked in numerous hospitals and with patients suffering from chronic pain and long-term health problems. Having gained over 16 years of experience, this has allowed her to broaden her knowledge in various psychological conditions, as well as develop her specialist skills. She has worked at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, as part of UCLH, the Whittington Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital.

To treat her patients, she predominantly uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She uses these approaches to help people manage their distress which affects them on a day-to-day basis. She also helps to break repetitive cycles that are causing them pain and therefore working to improve their lives. She also works with couples and families involving relationship issues.

Dr Slaughter is aa registered Clinical Psychologist, chartered with the British Psychological Society based in London. Having qualified in 200, Mr Salughter has 19 years post-qualification experience and his approach is founded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to which he adds technique from psychodynamic, humanistic and gestalt schools of thought.

Dominic is Chartered Clinical Psychologist and scholar who has over 10 years of experience working in psychology across the NHS, private practice, academia and the international non-profit sector. Having grown up across three continents, Dominic brings a global perspective to his clinical work.

In his clinical practice, Dominic has particular expertise providing therapy to clients struggling with anxiety, panic, perfectionism, low self-esteem, low mood, relationship and connection issues, LGBTQ+ issues, race, multicultural and identity issues, as well as those recovering from traumatic life events and loss. Dominic has worked at multiple specialist NHS and private outpatient clinics, including the Maudsley Hospital, Traumatic Stress Service and Psych Health.

Dominic has held research and teaching positions at UCL and King's College London, and is Co-Founder and a Director of TraumaPsychology, a bespoke education and training consultancy. Mr Luca Pozzi is a British Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) with the British Psychological Society. He has extensive clinical experience with over 10 years of working for the NHS and privately in London and Italy.

Luca has had vast experience in working with clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, personality disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Body dysmorphic disorder ( BDD ) and relationship difficulties based on attachment difficulties.

He offers short and long-term therapies drawing his therapeutic approach from a wide range of specialisations and not limited to Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema therapy, Mentalisation Based Treatment, compassion focused therapy and mindfulness.

Dr Mary-Anne Smith is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist located in central London, who completed her Doctorate in Psychotherapeutic and Counselling Psychology at the University of Surrey. She trained in various techniques and therapeutic models such as Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). 

Mary-Anne uses a tailored approach when seeing her patients and integrates her techniques in a very efficient way. She has experience working within the NHS, private practice and charities too. She is also able to deal with patients who experience addiction, depression, anxiety, relational issues and various other life-struggles. Mary-Anne see's patients who wish to understand themselves and their life patterns, as a means to growing and evolving beyond these and creating more satisfying life experiences.

Dr Ben Piper is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the British Psychological Society. He works privately at the iRise Psychology clinic, where he is the clinical lead. Dr Piper offers short and long-term therapies drawing on both cognitive behavioural (CBT) and psychodynamic approaches, in addition to a number of group therapy options for specific disorders. 

Dr Piper's therapeutic approach involves integrative methods relying on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, schema therapy and compassion focused therapy. 

His vast experience as a full time therapist for over 9 years is reflected in his therapeutic style, which is adapted to best meet the individual needs of each client. He also has extensive expertise working within a short-term/time-limited model.  

Ms Teresa Temme is a Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist and Psychodynamic Counsellor. She supports people to feel positive about themselves and use their new-found self-compassion to make positive changes in their lives. Ms Temme has a particular interest in people with chronic or recurring low mood and self-esteem issues.

Ms Temme has 10 years of experience in a variety of mental health services, and this allows her to adapt therapy to use techniques best suited to the individual.

Ms Temme is a Senior CBT Psychologist and supervisor in the NHS and also practices at iRise in Liverpool Street. She has spent 3 years teaching as an associated lecturer in CBT and evidence-based practice at the University of London.

Also, Ms Temme is trained in EMDR therapy for trauma work.
