I started counselling in Oct 2017 and I was at a very low point in life, suffering from severe anxiety. The experience I have received from Cognacity has been fantastic, I can honestly say it's one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I have had a lot of CBT over the years and I have normally just been given strategies to cope. Whereas Elisabeth digs deep and finds the route cause as to why you feel the way you do and then gives you practical strategies and advice to help you change.

My wife met Felix with my 16 year old son today. My son has had a fear of food after a bout of gastro enteritis at 18 months old. He had an extremely limited food intake, mainly beige foods with no food or vegetables. Before leaving Felix today my son had tried at least 11 or 12 new foods. By the end of the evening he’d tried 17 new foods. I cannot thank Felix enough for his time today. My son has a totally different outlook on food, and is already asking for foods to try and seeking them out himself. Such an amazing transformation, and one that my wife and I have found overwhelming and extremely emotional. I highly recommend Felix, and so does my son. It’s never too late to change.

Lorraine has been extremely helpful to provide me with advice on treatment options and how to access this via my GP. I was left with the feeling that Lorraine with be there to support me through this journey, I certainly welcome her open and friendly approach!

Ben is extremely easy to speak to and confide in. He makes the experience very comfortable and safe. He is understanding and has a great way of handling difficult sessions. He allowed me to come to huge realisations on my own, but slowly working through what was happening in my past and present. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I have been a client of Sam's for a few years on and off. For a period of time I was also under the care of a psychiatrist, and she and he worked really well together. I now have online sessions with her, which are just as good as in-person. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam. She is a brilliant psychologist. She was central to my diagnosis of (and recovery from) postnatal depression and continues to be a great source of wisdom and empathy. I know myself so much better than before I began sessions with her. I am more self-aware, resilient and have learned real self-compassion. As a result, I am far better equipped to deal with whatever may come my way in the future.

Having been to an NHS therapist previously and not getting very much out of it. Taking the steps to meet Vanessa was the most rewarding thing ever. Vanessa is amazing, the work we done has changed my life. Vanessa is kind, shows compassion and empathy, at no point did I feel like I was being judged in any way. I would recommend her to everyone.
