Dr Omi Narayan is a paediatric respiratory consultant (Paediatric Pulmonologist) at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, leading the bronchoscopy, sleep and long-term ventilation services. He specialises in all aspects of paediatric respiratory medicine.
Dr Narayan qualified in 2002, completing his Paediatric specialist rotation in London, including Evelina Children’s and Great Ormond Street Hospital. He undertook his subspecialty training in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, before joining Manchester Children’s as a Consultant.
Dr Narayan is actively engaged in research and training, widely publishing journals in peer-reviewed journals and has presented in many national and international conferences. He is the Quality Advisor on RCPCH CSAC, delivering national training in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine in the UK. He is also an Associate Hospital Dean and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester.Diseases, Medical Tests and Treatments
