She holds a Diploma in Medical Ethics and Philisophy of Medicine from the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries in London, in 2003.

In addition, Dr El Rifai is interested in medical education and she is an examiner for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. My consultation only fees are £200 for new patients and £100-150 for follow-up. Please ask my secretary regarding the costs for carrying out detailed neurodevelopmental assessments for ASD, ADHD etc. The assessment costs vary from £700-£1000, depending on the complexity of the case, the presence of co-morbidities, location of practice, overheads, etc. Neurodevelopmental assessments are in-depth and comprehensive exercises that involve 4-6 hours of work for each child. This includes at up to 2 hours of face-to-face assessment, head-to-toe examination, full physical examination including neurology, growth assessment, report writing, post, admin, etc.
