He has helped to develop the service there with new style nurse-led and telephone clinics, clinical governance and departmental guidelines and currently sits on the Hospital Drugs and Therapeutics Committee.

He is also involved in teaching medical students at University College London (UCL) Medical School, and was recently made an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor.
