From the moment I walked in I was put at ease with all the staff being welcoming , helpful and knowledgeable. The best thing was that if unsure or did not know the answer they would find out straight away. Not something that happens everywhere. I had cataract operations in each eye with preparatory examinations and follow up examinations at the Bridge Clinic in Maidenhead. I was pleased with the whole experience. The examinations at the bridge were in a specially prepared and equipped room with an outstandingly impressive practitioner. She was good at answering questions about the tests and what they were for. The procedures each took about half an hour and I was immediately comfortable. The result was that I was much better able to see almost as soon as the second procedure had been completed. It was akin to wearing my first pair of spectacles as a child! I could read in bed without spectacles and drive without spectacles as a result of the combination of the prescriptions of each cataract lens. I have subsequently got new spectacles for watching the theatre, and others for prolonged and detailed reading. It is so much better than my pre-cataract vision!

A warm welcome & a very helpful, knowledgeable team of experts answered all of my questions to ensure I confidently progressed to surgery. From Reception to the Nursing staff & the Consultant, I felt very relaxed on my journey & knew I was in the best of hands! The aftercare commitment from the clinic was very important to me to help in my decision making & I can confidently say, it has been excellent! I highly recommend Cathedral Eye Clinic.
