I went to Mr Hove for Argon laser conjunctival naevus thermocoagulation. From the beginning Mr Hove was incredibly patient and understanding with me - I had some concerns and issues as the procedure was totally new to me and I didn’t have much understanding of what was involved and the risks associated. Even though he was clearly busy, this did not stop Mr Hove from taking an extraordinary amount of time to ensure I was totally comfortable with the procedure, including teaching me about the laser itself! The procedure itself was incredibly quick and totally painless. Mr Hove even kindly agreed to go above and beyond what we had initially agreed by removing a very small nevus he had noticed in addition to the larger one I had come to him for. He went so far as to offer he remove this at no additional cost given we hadn’t agreed prior to my coming in, and because in his words “some things are more important than money” and he wanted to make sure I left totally satisfied with my eye. This spoke volumes of his character and commitment to his profession. Recovery was quick with redness going after around 5 days and only very minor discomfort (nowhere near sufficient to require pain killers). I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Hove to any member of my family and wish him all the best in the future. Thank you, Mr Hove!
