Mr Dabbagh is an amazing clinician. He has the rare ability to make sick children listen and smile. My 5 year old son was in a lot of pain and Mr Dabbagh looked after him so well. My son George talks about him as he is his hero that saved his eye. But most importantly I need to say he is a very knowledgeable clinician with so many years of experience . We are very grateful to him for all his care and expert knowledge.

Could not have been better

I had a very good experience with Doctor Wisam Muen. Initially the so called 'SMILE' surgery technique didn't yield the results we were expecting. Doctor Muen was very clear on explaining why the results weren't as expected and in preparing me for a followon surgery if I wanted to proceed with a touchup procedure using LASIK. Despite my concerns with the second procedure he put me at ease and helped my understand the potential benefits. I would go back to both OPTEGRA clinic and request Doctor Muen again without a thought. Even though it took some time to achieve what results I wanted, both him and his staff were very supportive through the journey and in the end we were successful! Thank you to you and your staff Doctor Muen....!!

It was a good experience covering all the aspects of the review

After a prolonged wait to be called, the appointment felt rushed with the consultant evidently trying to make back time. The physical examination with the slit lamp seemed merely cursory lasting no more than thirty seconds (both eyes) whilst Miss Sivagnanavel did not explain the result of her examination or the earlier diagnostic tests. She told me to increase my medication and without further discussion (re suggested duration, side effects or prognosis) concluded the consultation saying that (quote) "there was no point" in being seen/checked again for six months. This was contrary to previous advice as to the importance of regular check ups when on long term low dose medication. I had no opportunity to ask further questions.. Miss Sivagnanavel appeared distracted in that her pc did not work properly (when ordering the prescription) and the link she gave me for feedback didn't work! I was left confused as to the result of the consultation - subsequently alleviated by a call to the eye unit and somewhat anxious as to the treatment and follow up plan. All in all not a particularly satisfactory experience..

Miss Valerie Saw recently performed very successful cataract surgery on both of my eyes and provided excellent advice and solutions to manage and significantly improve my dry eye and blepharitis conditions. Miss Saw is highly professional, extremely thorough, and communicated brilliantly throughout the whole process, so I felt confident every step of the way. During my initial consultation Miss Saw identified some complications with my left eye. She ensured further tests were carried out where required, to ensure the surgery would be a success. Miss Saw clearly explained: my diagnosis; all of my options; and provided excellent information regarding the surgery and aftercare. During the surgeries she explained what was happening, as a result I felt at ease during the operations. She is very patient and was willing to answer all my questions and is very personable and has great people skills. Miss Saw provided excellent aftercare and is supported by a great team who made sure I was looked after extremely well during the whole procedure. I now have a “new set of eyes” and can see clearly, and colours are bright, and details are sharp. I highly recommend Miss Saw, she is highly professional, very thorough, exceptionally knowledgeable, she communicated brilliantly, was incredibly patient and is very personable. Thank you so much!
