We had two experiences with the ACU, one privately, one with the NHS. These have been very different experiences. With the NHS the waiting times were insanely long, you would see a different consultant or nurses (most of the times) every time, and the emails response time was very long with no other way to contact the clinic. With the private path, you have a dedicated senior consultant that you can text at any time on personal mobile and never seen by nurses. The waiting times are normal and overall experience much more pleasant. I think it is sad that such a poor level of service is provided when payment is paid by the NHS. If we knew we would not have waited 2 to 3 years for the NHS funding and would have gone private directly. Otherwise everyone was very professional and the clinic is very clean. Nurses and medical staff were super friendly and put us at ease at egg retrieval.

So fast and friendly and clean. I had a blood test done at the walk in clinic and the staff are just lovely. The clinic is super nice and clean and I walked in at 5pm and was seen in 10 minutes. I also had the results in my inbox by the time I woke up at 6.30am the next day ! Just brilliant. Would 100% use again.

Generally very good experience with AcuMedic. The only thing I struggle with is the price of the herbs you are given to complement the acupuncture. They are very expensive for the amount given. You don’t have to buy them of course.

Excellent pre operation. Post operation follow up by the team was a little more erratic and required me to chase for help/explanations (particularly on rehab but also to clarify a few contradictory instructions) on occasion.

The nurses and sonographer (Liz) have been great. They have responded to my enquiries very quickly.

I was seen quickly, the hospital was incredibly clean, the staff were friendly and highly professional.
