Mr Awad has a lovely friendly manner so I have always felt very much at my ease during consultations .i really appreciated this as these would otherwise be very daunting . He explained the procedures very thoroughly and clearly and associated potential problems -I felt completely confident that he was to do his very best for me -he is attentive in making sure you have no unanswered questions and is always very warm and engaging -I have complete trust and confidence in him and am delighted with the surgical results he has achieved

Dr Disu is an excellent surgeon. He is professional, passionate and dedicated. I had a laparoscopy and excision of endometriosis in July 2022 and Dr Disu took time to explain absolutely everything. Unfortunately, I had severe complications after my surgery (due to another health condition) and had a second surgery with Dr Disu a week later. Again, he explained everything and I trusted him completely. Dr Disu promised to visit me and kept in touch with me throughout my 2 month stay in the hospital. He visited me in ITU and in the Wards and I am so grateful to have such a caring doctor. I recently had a follow up appointment with Dr Disu and it was great to see him again and discuss my ongoing treatment. I highly recommend Dr Disu.

A few years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed several years of intense treatment. Whilst most people today talk quite openly about cancer because they or someone close has gone through it, they rarely talk in detail of side effects or living with a body that has changed from the treatment. This is what I want to share as part of my cancer journey. I’m not talking about hair loss, the common devastating side effect because it is so visible to others or ourselves in the mirror. I want to tell you about one of the side effects I’ve suffered from which is severe vaginal dryness and discomfort from the drugs I’m on. It’s the last taboo, one I’ve noticed that women even close friends or family don’t easily talk about and therefore suffer in silence, because it is such an intimate part of our anatomy. It is unseen and private, but oh so painful. But I did not want to suffer in silence, I wanted to be heard and I wanted help. I was lucky enough to be recommended to MissTania Adib - consultant gynaecologist. Miss Tania Adib is a wonderful, compassionate listener who immediately understood my dilemma, with her help she created a treatment plan for me of vaginal laser “The MonaLisa Touch” together with hyaluronic acid injections. The results have gone beyond my expectations and transformed me back to my old self, giving me confidence and feeling feminine once again. I had two consultations and examinations with Mr Aldrich. On both occasions I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. I never felt embarrassed or uncomfortable. There were no awkward silences as Mr Aldrich explained everything very clearly at every step. At 74 years old I appreciated this greatly. Mr Aldrich's private secretary was also very approachable and kind.

Mr Griffiths always takes time to listen to me and provides different options for me to consider. He allows me to be fully involved in decisions about my treatment whilst recommending the best options for me. He is gentle, caring and put me at ease from the initial examination through to the operation itself. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs to see a gynaecologist or who needs a hysterectomy. My surgery was uneventful and recovery was straightforward. He explained everything at each stage and made time to see me after the surgery. I’m incredibly grateful to him for looking after me and resolving the problem.

I had a great experience being a patient for the first time. Joseph was extremely kind and professional and walked me through various options of treatment and felt supported throughout. I know a lot of women would not go to a man gynecologist but I personally could not have a better experience.
