The only slight criticism I have of Lakeview is that my elderly father was recently moved from one room to another; quite disruptive for a 95 year old. The new room is in a much noisier part of the Home, and in the process of moving a chair which I had provided for me to sit on during visits has gone missing.

Stuff is helpful

Basic functionality works very well. Have had no problem with any sensors and the original batteries still work after a couple of years. Provides peace of mind. Issue with mobile app: it logs me out of the app about once a week without notifying me that it has done this. I therefore have to continuously check the app since I may miss alerts whilst it is logged out. Suggestion for enhancement: provide an 'emergency red button' as part of the suite of sensors. This would trigger an immediate alert via the app when pressed. I've had to purchase a separate one (using a different app - Tuya).

Happy with staff and facilities

Always a very happy atmosphere, a warm and friendly home that is always so welcoming!

The staff have exhibited a friendly empathetic approach to resident centred care. They work as one team with one goal to deliver highest standard of care every day.

All staff are fantastic.. They take the time to communicate and listen extremely well.

My mother has been in Galgorm care home for quite some time now and has settled in well. Her room is very clean and the staff have been really good with her. Everytime I visit, the staff are very friendly and helpful but the main thing is my mum is happy well looked after and treated with the care and dignity she deserves
