After reading previous reviews I was really concerned when my Dad was sent here from hospital. He has been here for a year now and has only good things to say about his care he really likes the staff especially Mandy who has really helped him. He has no complaints about the food and he seems really settled and loves to have a bit of banter with the staff. He chose to stay here when given a choice to move and that really says it all in my opinion.

I have been an employee for 16 years at the Woodlands. I have been fully supported professionally and in my personal life. I have worked in all 5 units however, working with vulnerable adults living with dementia is my passion, so much so recently got promoted to dementia Ambassador which I am extremely proud of. If I can make a difference to my residents quality of life then I am one happy girl and so are my residents. Each day has different challenges which we meet with a positive attitude. Just care that's all we ask. Rubina Home Manager has been my mentor for years and her door is always open for everyone.
