He was so caring throughout and when he came to see me after the operation, he was very positive about the surgery and even allowed me to go home in the evening, which meant a lot to me.

The most surprising thing was the almost complete lack of pain after 24 hours bar a little discomfort and how incredibly my reconstructed breast matches with the other side . As well as his expertise and professionalism I found Professor Mokbel to be kind and empathetic and after my follow up appointments I have come away feeling reassured and informed. An all round positive experience which has helped no end during a difficult time coming to terms with the shock of breast cancer.
