Dr Katayoun Kasraie is a General Practitioner practising medicine in London for 12 years. She qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2005 and attained her Membership of the Royal College of GP in 2013. Additionally, she holds the United States Medical Board Licensing Exams, having spent time working at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles as a Paediatric Doctor. She has also trained at Georgetown University Hospitals in adult endocrinology, Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital in paediatric intensive care, and University of California San Diego Medical Centre in paediatric endocrinology.
Dr Kasraie moved to London in 2008 where she worked at the Heart Hospital in Cardiothoracic Surgery and at Chelsea Westminster Hospital in Genitourinary Medicine. Dr Kasraie also holds postgraduate diplomas in Clinical Dermatology (PostgradDipDerm Distinction) and Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH).
Dr Kasraie specializes in family medicine and has extensive experience in paediatrics and men’s and women’s health. She has a keen interest in dermatology and cosmetic medicine.
Dr Kasraie believes passionately in the importance of a family doctor’s role in providing a holistic approach for patient care. She treats patients of all ages and gender and is a strong believer in not just treating the symptoms but the person behind them. She always takes the time to get to know her patients and prides herself on working towards finding the best solutions and evidence based treatments for them.
Having lived and worked abroad, Dr Kasraie is fluent in English, German, Farsi, and proficient in Spanish. Outside of work she enjoys regular gym sessions, running, yoga, cooking, and travelling.
