He has gained further experience internationally, including in the United States, Canada, and mainland Europe. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians based on endorsement by his colleagues locally and nationally.  

In addition to his clinical duties, Dr Bhargava is an invited speaker nationally and internationally on skin cancer, surgery, hair disorders and cosmetic dermatology and acts as a supervisor to specialist dermatology trainees.
