Nisith is a senior consultant in the Dermatology Surgery and Laser Unit of St John’s Institute of Dermatology (Guys' and St Thomas’ NHS Trust).  He holds a substantive consultant post here and helps train junior doctors and the honorary consultants who visit from external departments to gain further experience from the UK and abroad. This is the largest clinical dermatology department in the UK. It opened in 1868 and is now one of the world’s leading centres for patients with skin problems. 

Nisith entered medical school with a British Medical Association scholarship and graduated with class and national prizes. He went on to train in the UK, USA and Canada and completed additional fellowship training in complex skin surgery, particularly Mohs micrographic surgery, lasers and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. He won an award at the American Academy of Dermatology for research in melanoma skin cancer.

Nisith treats a range of skin problems including acne, rosacea, moles, skin cancers, scars, discolouration, eczema, psoriasis and ageing skin. Nisith also receives referrals from GPs and other specialists for his opinion on managing common and rare skin problems and complications following cosmetic procedures.

He has access to the latest technology and has a network of highly trusted colleagues from other specialties who he can call upon to manage the most complex cases.

Dr Rajpar is a Consultant Dermatologist who provides a high calibre and un-rushed service focussing on the individual needs of his patients.

He is able to assist with skin rashes, acne, worrying moles, male genital concerns, hair loss and suspected skin cancers. He also has expertise in carrying out surgical procedures of the skin including removal of benign lesions and skin cancers, as well as Mohs surgery. He was formerly director for the skin surgery service at his NHS base, University Hospital Birmingham.

In addition, Dr Rajpar provides aesthetic and cosmetic treatments including injection treatments and resurfacing. He specialises in creating harmony and balance to facial features with natural results. Dr Morris-Jones is currently recruiting patients with acne to take part in a study of topical therapy involving cream containing gold micro-particles applied to the face following by laser treatment. This treatment is free to patients recruited, it takes place at 55 Harley Street, and appointments take 60 mins in total. The treatment involves facial cleansing, massaging the gold cream into the skin, cooling the skin with chilled rollers and then the laser treatment. After the procedure your skin will have some redness but this typically returns to normal within 1-2 hours. The treatment study aims to see if this treatment helps to reduce oil production, clogged pores and reduced bacteria in the skin associated with acne.
